If you are a lonsome wolf living in the woods infected with cholera and typhus you are forced to search hospitals or other medical facilities for antibiotics....or you have to get it somehow from other players....this is what I mean ...complex needs keep you busy, which will lead automatically to more social interactions because there is always a high chance to meet other players at specific locations. Since the zeds will be a much greater threat in the SA you will find yourself (even as a lone wolf) probably more often teaming up with some strangers to loot the next hospital or general store...no need for joining a clan or squad that means :) In the mod you gear up and that's it. You could spend days and weeks in the woods without having to go into dangerous places.Fighting other players is the only thing left. This will change radically in the SA because of the complex needs. People will be subtle forced to spend their time with surviving instead of seraching only for vehicles and the next gun fight.

The loot is all contained within the vehicles as previously said. You're best when planning a Salvation Island is to organise it for after a server restart. You'll be sure of good loot then.

Whats up bud? If you haven't checked into BMRF.me, you probably should. They have some of the best admins that have zero tolerance for breaking their rules. Their rules are just common sense and nearly every server is practically full and ranked in the top 100. They have 24/7 daylight / Day&Night / Hardcore servers, as well as, Wasteland & DayZ 1944 servers as well. All linked to a private, whitelisted hive - you will never really need to go somewhere else if you see that the Day&Night timezone is to your liking. No AS50's & not a crazy amount of vehicles or heli spawns, but they are out there. This is rightfully as close to vanilla with some spice in it to make the situations more fun. I highly recommend you check out BMRF.me and get whitelisted. You will not regret it. Also PM me about grouping up together. I like the idea of Zombies in crashed vehicles, implying that the owner of the previous vehicle had been killed and turned. Also taking the proper precaution to check your vehicles before you hop in and drive off because there might be a Zed hiding on the floor board is a pretty nice concept. However, zombies driving....yeah a bit much. I know I've always been a fan of random events happening on servers. Say a military failed offensive so you have a few military vehicles and military zombies in random places, the random car crashes seems like an ok idea. Just this is suppose to be a bit after day 0 so not sure how plausible that really is.

There's a website called Day Z DB. It tells you where you can find Military Loot, Vehicles, Helis, etc. For now, You can only just repair vehicles if you have a toolbox & the item that you need to repair it with. I've seen some Standalone interviews with Rocket that we will be able to build our own vehicle, But we will have to see ourselves. If you have any other problems/questions just contact the forum mods with hacking/scripting/cheating. Hope this helped you.

No building just repair if broken ( you need a toolbox) Use daydb.com some cars may have been taken already, some cars may spawn anywhere else if the server added extra vehicles

I've heard the lockable vehicleidea a million times. It wont work because if someone finds a locked vehicle they will just rage and destroy it. That's what I would do. Vehicles are for everyone's use and if someone finds the one you have been using then tough titty.

Hi everybody! Lately I've been hanging around different servers, some with hackers, some with a low chance finding stuffs & vehicles, etc... So, I wanted to know, what are the criterias to find a good server? and what's better, a public (official) or private one? Thanks a lot, and if you know a good server please let me know ;)

I highly reccomend Balota buddies. Also vehicles and weapons being easy to find does NOT = good server. High end weaponry should be hard to get and vehicles are a high value item, I remember when I first started playing having a Lada was like having a giant E-peen in game.

TSW is a great program for doing a lot of server managment tasks. You can spawn vehicles, put protective bubbles over specific areas that teleport those not authorized, etc... What hosting company are you using?

The Admin was extremely polite, and very helpful - the core community ranges from collective teams to lone wolfs. The server is definitely a refreshment from your typical Chernarus. The additions made to the map are quite pleasing, and really add a great change from the run-of-the-mill default setup. The loot rates seem to be quite good for low to mid tier weaponry, and very good for tools and food. Starting at 9:30pm est, Location Zub Castle (Cords 065,097) Custom Loadout A clan of five will be defending Zub Castle with limited ammo and supplies only in there main inventory. In their backpacks if you can kill any of the five players you will find rewarding loot. When you loot the body take whatever you desire. This event will mark the launch of our new server. We have had a soft launch for about two weeks to work out any issues. North of Guba bay is a pretty nice place to hide tents and vehicles. It's very secluded and I've never seen any survivors or campsites up there, so I'm assuming it's not a popular spot. There are many thick forests in the area and even a flat hilltop to hide a helicopter. I should also mention that the PBX (the fastest boat in DayZ, as you probably know) spawns on Guba bay, so that's another plus. Edit: Guba bay is located northeast of the northeast airfield, if you're having trouble finding it. Double edit: Another great spot to hide tents, believe it or not, is at secluded homes; more specifically the ones that only have a dirt road leading to them. Players usually don't expect to find tents or vehicles at these spots.

The server now has a total of 300+ vehicles! On a side note, over 100 players have joined the server so far! Why haven't you!?

This server is currently (And for a long time) on taviana We welcome everyone, Noobs, Bandits, Role Players, Anyone who wants to have some Taviana Fun. This server was just recently switched to Taviana so people with the best guns have only AKs/AKMs Max amount of vehicles that are there LEGIT are ON THE MAP! Only a few have been taken, Still some that are able to drive just sitting around. So, my group and I. 5 Guys, Brought all our Vehicles back to this spot :P logged out, and I came back like 3 Hours later. 2 Of the Vehicles were stolen. There is still 9 there! (small red vehicle behind the URAL) 1 Is a helicopter.

the problem with any camp site is you don't need to worry about 95% of the server, only 1 guy stumbling upon it. Maybe your tent is between him and his buddy and he got lucky Try to think of how a player would go thru an area. Try to place it somewhere they may not go. a lone set of tree's in an open field. Why would anyone run across an open field when they can follow a different tree line with more cover. Try to think about being seen from above. Really easy to spot tents and vehicles from the air. You will notice that each type of tree has a different advantage for visibility. Finding a good mix and match of bushes and different tree types may take a while, but when you find a good spot you'll immediately know. Pull up the map of chernarus http://dayzdb.com/map and look at it not trying to see where you should place a tent, but how people would PROBABLY travel. Get a car and scout it out. Luck and Chance have helped me find numerous tents, however... Also at times you have people like me, who will literally walk on foot for hours combing inch after inch of an area to see what goodies i can find. Remember... always carry your best gear. Tents should only be backup stuff for when you die and need immediate items like matches, not a treasure vault or armory. (Edit) Forgot about cheating admins... Gotta love that...

Far away from everything where you don't think anyone will ever go, until a hacker uses his ESP and sees your tents, or vehicles. Than you're screwed.

150 vehicles isnt that many i recomed having arround 300-400 anyway i might give this a try seeing as the hive i play on is down at the moment
