Hey guys I just want to remind you that when you set launch parameters in Day Z 1944 to remove @CAB CO. DayZ does not use this yet and it destroys your fps. what is dayz 1944? check it out here- Custom sounds, vehicles, weapons, and skins!! This mod is very fun to play and a nice change of pace.

Vehicles really never dropped fps what did it was the 666 zombies I placed in Utes. Now there was mayor lag. Casings are very small items so will have a very small signature and will only have the inpect option. Now picking them up for reload is another story, so they can be placed as a type of loot I guess. I just seen some updates on the stant alone and they looks to have so many new options already now if any lagg I'm sure this could be fixed with a update in codie. Just like is been done since the game came out. I just saw it as an option to create more realism not lag at all and said why not. now this hasnt been done. I've placed ammo spawns on arma2 I mean thousands everywhere an didn't get the lag. When I saw the tin can thing that made it look more doable thats all. Great critisism man because hopefully someone working on it could see the mayor interests or concerns people have about this. After all they know better than anyone. Now I remember, I seen the shell casings on counterstrike. Now tell me that doesn't give you an edge to find other playas. I seen this in another came also just can't think of the name. This type of realism is used as a tactical advantage. People will be more careful to go gunho and use more melee weapons or the infamous silent crossbow. I've even seen a real life mini crossbow that special forces use. looks like little pistol ;D -

How do we know? There's already examples. Go into Arma and spawn fifty vehicles. Compare the FPS between that and no vehicles. There's a difference.Now imagine all of that spawing in within two minutes. Not only does it stress the server with physics calculatiosn, but it's also a lot of objects being spawned at once and that in itself is a lot for the server to deal with.A good firefight can put 300+ shell casings on the ground within two minutes. That could easily crash the server. -

HFBservers Review - Great Hardware - No Customer Service

After trying to find the best, most stable servers, I was repeatedly told to try HFBservers.com. I paid an extra $15 for their "full managed support", thinking they would easily fix any problems I had. I was completely wrong. Here's my first message to them, asking why I couldn't pick a custom loadout, one of the features they advertise (it starts at the bottom): HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 1.png I had also asked them to increase the amount of vehicle spawns, as they advertise. Sadly, there were no noticable custom vehicle spawns and *no helicopters at all*. That isn't to say they flat out lied, it's just saying that from my perspective there were 36 vehicle spawns to begin with, and 36 vehicle spawns to end with. If you want a server with 300 or 500 vehicles, they will *not* be doing that for you, and they don't have any way to automate that. Based on their advertisements, however, you would think they could, since they tout their ability to add custom spawns. They just don't list how many they'll actually do. Since they didn't fix my problem the first time, I had to message them again, as seen here: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 2.png So it's been three days since I rented the server, they ignored the real problem the first time, hopefully the second times the charm, right? Wrong: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 3.png So, did they do the right thing and refund the money for the non-functioning server they provided? Of course not. Instead they tried to convince me that everything worked perfectly: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 4.png This was their final response, and mine: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 5.png Give them money at your own risk. I will never use them as a host again. Maybe, *maybe*, if they did a big announcement saying they'd fired their customer support team and hired a real one. Till then, this host has excellent hardware if you are a do-it-yourselfer. If you don't know databases inside and out, AVOID THIS HOST. A shame too, because I haven't heard of any that come higher recommended, or with better hardware. -
I am curious if anyone else experienced the supposed hive issue last night that deleted any and every thing that held an as50 including tents and vehicles. This is the explanation i was given and thought the timing was rather odd as i had literally taken the AS50's from the host clans camp the night before this bug hit yet i can't find a reference to this hive wide bug anywhere. Any feedback either way would be nice, and if this happened to anyone else last night please speak up.

How about special vehicles such as firetrucks? They could shoot water if someone operates the hose. Note: the water pressure is enough to knock some one off their feet. Several players could ride on different spots such as the ladder,hose operation system, backrails. You could turn on the siren, though it serves no purpose. Cop cars also have sirens and spike strips in the trunk to stop cars. Ambulances have medical supplies and a siren. Sirens just notify every living(or undead) thing where you are. Food trucks have food of course but I understand it would be difficult to see a bandit driving a taco van.car alarms should go off if you attack it

Well you have to understand, from the perspective of a career DayZ hoarder. If you let other people have vehicles the chance of them finding your base is much greater. If they have even 1 old bike to use off road up north, think about how much easier it is to look up there? Therefore, a proper camp needs ALL the vehicles. :D -

No, if you want more cars, go play on a server with 600+ (they have those...) . I really hope there aren't over 100 in the SA. It's for balancing issues, many more cars can be supported, but it also takes out the fun of finding one. Searching for days when finally you see the scooby doo van in the distance. Once you finally reach it, you find it's missing 2 wheels and needs a new engine, and the adventure begins. The rarity of vehicles is a great part of DayZ, it adds a lot more satisfaction when you finally find one. -

So, You're telling me. 1) It's Non-PvP, Well it is but I know where the bad guys are already at. 2) You give me stuff to start with So I don't have to find much more 3) There are lot's of vehicles so I don't have to go hunting for one. 4) 24/7 Daytime. I don't even need to find nightvision, one of the greatest things to have/find. And I don't even need a flash light. Wow. You just beat DayZ right there. Mind as well get rid of the zombies right? -

Yeah, I was thinking about that as well, then I remembered, ARMA II has a shitload of vehicles being moved around on servers, which a lot of the time is 70+ players. I haven't really played much ARMA, (I'm pretty bad with military talk, too nervous for a server) but from what I've seen, it runs very smoothly with 200+ vehicles. And I don't think we'd need that many, as most of Chernosk (i think that's what it's called) is rural. A lot of cars (10 or 20) in the 5 or 6 cities, and a few stray ones out and about in the country. With the keys, a lot of people I knew wouldn't support, but I think it's a good idea, so you kinda surprised me with that. But, I digress. Thanks for the feedback. -

Primary: M14 - it is the most versatile tool out there and a livesafer. Secondary: M9 SD (zombies), G17 (big mags, fairly accurate, flashlight) Reserve: Mk 48 Mod 0 - good against anything and anyone, esp. good against vehicles and slow aircrafts. About M14/DMR: The (great) DMR is actually the same rifle, just another optics on top of it. Which rifle is better one? Depends on how you're approaching a combat situation. Imho rushing in, using surpise effect, suppressive fire and only starting a firefight in close combat range or in range of about 200m gives you the best survival chances. -
Me and my friend haven't had a lot of gunfights really. Usually when we saw someone it was NWAF or stary sobor- neither of those places are too uncommon. At that point it's usually ghillie or camo suit on both of us and assault rifle or better. The people we meet aren't there for their can of beans most of the time, if we see a ghillie dude with as50 sitting on a hill near stary sobor we wont take risks and start yelling friendly. Has happened multiple times. Only unarmed player we shot was heading for an AKM in stary sobor less than 10 meters from us even though we told him to stop. The firefights we found most dangerous were over vehicles. This one time we were ridin' our motorcycle in the northern wilderness between Petrovka and Gvozdno. We came across a fully fueled, 100% condition ural truck there. We started looking up what's in it and suddenly we see three dudes running towards us over a hill nearby. They didn't see us but they definitely saw and heard our motorcycle. We opened fire before they did as we were certain that they would not take kindly on us looting their truck and got all of them down with the cost of my friends life. It's that kind of KoS that we did, at that point it's not really where we want to risk starting all over again. We did not sit near NWAF or stary sobor camping, we pushed forward until we had everything there is to be had Too many times we got shot as newbies because of our ignorance. The first time we got to stary we got shot by a guy we never even saw, and neither of us had had any guns at that point. Our first two trips to NWAF were lethal to us as well. It's about learning from your mistakes and taking minimal risks. Now when we need medical supplies one of us sits in the treeline with a high caliber sniper rifle and the other runs to berezino hospital, we KoS because we sorta have to. If someone did find us before we did, lowered his weapon and said he's friendly, we wouldn't shoot him back unless his group outmanned us. He would be no threat to us. It's just that rarely anyone sees us before we see him, and at that point it's too late for him if he has a firearm Just my two cents on ethics in this game

dude, im not hating on your server or anything, I'm just saying the whole fun in dayz (at least from my perspective) is when you get into life or death situation and you get that adrenaline rush. I'm sure there are people out there that like the aspect of tons of vehicles and no trouble from bandits or stuff like that. -

Great server, been playing on it for a while now. Vehicles easily found all across the Maps, Multiple choppers easily accessible. Overall my favorite Private hive
