  1. To anyone who plays on these servers, this may be of interest to you. I have been playing DayZ since it was first released. I experienced the golden period when there was no cheating and the game was actually about survival and not deathmatch. Since then, as you all know, it has descended into a comedic farce of cheating, trolling and pure PvP. I had grown very tired of the cheating and sought refuge on a whitelist only, private hive server called Balota Buddies. It was previously public, but as the cheating became epidemic it became a whitelist only group of servers. Sick of being killed by cheaters, I applied and was whitelisted. I liked the Namalsk map and was playing on that a fair bit when this incident happened. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/105209-i-would-really-appreciate-some-suggestions-as-to-what-could-have-happened/ Needless to say this left a very bad taste in my mouth. As it turns out, I did not get banned and one of the players from the group I killed, joined my channel on teamspeak and apologised for accusing me of cheating as he had reviewed his fraps footage. At this point I should mention that one of the people in the group I killed was an admin. I never heard anything from this admin after this incident. Two of my friends decided to apply for whitelisting and were accepted. One of them, during the teamspeak "interview" was asked who he played with and he mentioned my name. The admin then told him I was on their watch list for "ghosting". I had no idea what this was until my friend told me that it is "listening in to other peoples teamspeak channels to know where they are and what they're doing, to kill them". I have never done anything like that at all, ever. Surely there are teamspeak logs that admins can check to see channel switches. This really ruffled my feathers. Twice from the same group of people I had my integrity called into question and accusations hurled, with no evidence. I began to play less and less on their servers due to my disdain with their conduct. Finally, last night, my friends and I went to join the server in question as others were full and very laggy, only for me to find that I had been "permanently banned for combat logging". Since the latest patch, you cannot combat log; but that doesn't matter because I _never_ do that. My friends probably won't and I am never going back (I can't obviously) to those servers. Petty and immature administration. tl;dr - killed admin and his group, was threatened with ban for cheating and then vindicated. Then accused of "ghosting" in teamspeak and finally banned for "combat logging" on Balota Buddies servers.

    That's what I had in mind. The zone would apply to the biggest player hot-spots, of course. No need for that on secluded farmhouses. And I completely agree, Shadow Man, and I dearly hope we get to see that in standalone. Still unclear how this would hurt bambis. Everyone would be subject to this, and I can only see the high-geared players who combat-log or ghost while assaulting an important location being affected. As for picking up where you left off. Cities are meant to be dangerous, I believe. I hope. Woods would be the ideal location to camp for the night, not in a city, however safe the building. I hope in standalone cities turn into the very pits of hell, but still a viable source for loot. The inconvenience of not being able to log out in a city is trumped by the inconvenience caused by ghosting, combat-logging and ninja-snipers. Avoiding confrontations in this game by logging out, whether or not the other survivors in question are friendly or not, is still combat-logging in my eyes. I imagine the atmosphere of a game where you suddenly hear footsteps, and don't know whether or not you're going to die. You hide, in a panicky haste, and waste for the footsteps to recede. And then there's you: Logs out in case it turns dangerous. Kind of takes something out of the game, if you ask me.

    for ghosting, i think its possible to log players which server they played last right? if they decide to ghost, disconnects, find another server, goes back in to previous server and finds out he have to wait 3 hours to go back to that server again or higher and if some smart ass happens to have a friend on another server and asked for help to hit him from behind, there should be a random teleport if in case you spawn near the player radius and teleports you outside the radius around 800m would suffice i think. there should be a notification that your spawning too close to a player and will be teleported. if you choose to accept then.... Combat log should be longer so that the attacker to have enough time to manuever assault tactics and not rush towards the target and get killed in the process. in addition to ghosting, in order for server to identify potential players being flagged is that they already logged in and logged out of server, joined another server and comes back too quickly from the previous server,like within 30 minutes. then you are flaged as ghosting and will be able to connect to previous server in few hours. basicly idea is there. Logically. Any better ideas?

    I like the idea. Combat logging and ghosting are the two most unrealistic events to happen. The fact that you can have a building or a base completely secure and a player can just materialise inside is utterly rediculous. The only drawbacks I can think of are that in the event of losing connection you would pay heavily (happens maybe once a week to me). Unless the server can make the decision based on how a disconnection happens. Also, how far does this region need to extend? Whats the maximum distance a sniper can sit from Cherno or Elektro and still shoot at people? This means either a huge area of log restriction, or a very irregular shape of log restrition based on line of sight. You could have to run 1000m to get out of the no-log zone.

    Simple base suggestion?

    It would be nice if you could build proper settlements with a perimeter that would keep people from ghosting inside. E.g. you try to log in there and just get moved to the outside of the perimeter. Maybe manage who can come inside with a password entry like a POS in EVE? Not sure how doable that would be but it's an idea.

    You'd need to be careful about that, though. Ghosting is the only way you can escape the Thunderdome.

    Ambush General

    Well, here's another one for you guys: I was with a group of 7 friends on my favorite server, and i had just been attacked in Elektro as the others were moving in to loot it. I regrouped with them to the north, in the woods, and we slowly and carefully made our way to the power plant. We spread out into two groups (with our AS50 guy giving cover from the northwest hill) and made our way deeper into the city in search of loot and the asshole who tried to kill me earlier. We cleared the school, store (killing one guy who was there), and the West fire station, and regrouped after our sniper shot someone who was trying to get a position on the roof of the East fire station. Someone spotted a ghillie suit running along the tracks to the West, so we all huddled up in the schoolhouse to ambush him when he came near. Unfortunately, someone joined the server and said something about the tons of zombies in Elektro, which set off a rather nasty chain reaction. I heard footsteps to the north of the school, so I set up position to watch the store and hotel. Seconds later, I heard a grenade explode at the front of the school; another one quickly followed. I hauled ass back inside as everyone moved away from the windows. Some random guy with an Enfield ran in the door I was covering with my own Enfield, and we opened fire on each other; I was knocked out, he was only bleeding. He took several steps backwards and tried to look up the stairs (at my friends who were ready to shred him to pieces), but was shot by a sniper on the roof of the hospital. Our own sniper dispatched this guy and informed us that the grenades, which hadn't stopped coming, were all being launched by another guy on the hospital roof. During a break in the shooting, I realized that we were in a really bad shape. One of us had been killed by a grenade, two others had been downed in the streets by an unknown enemy as they tried to flank the sniper and grenadier, and I was unconscious and bleeding out. We decided to GTFO, and I ran to the power station as soon as I woke up and bandaged myself. While passing out from blood loss and shaking uncontrollably from pain, two randoms shot and killed each other near the school building, and our sniper let us know that the grenadier, who had been logging in and out, had been ghosting and was now glitched inside of the hospital. After a swift swing of the banhammer, my buddies on the ground met up with me and we gave each other transfusions. One headed up sniper hill to circle around and meet with our sniper, the other guy left to check the west fire station again, and I went back to the school to loot the bodies. In the process, a bandit made the rather unfortunate mistake of logging in and crawling into the hallway right after I had picked up my friend's AK-74. He did not survive. Those of us who were still alive ran to the northwest hill. Someone found a working SUV along the way, and we went to Berezino where "that guy" among us threw a grenade and made bullet cracks on his mic. The SUV was flipped shortly afterward, and I decided to log off and call it a night. All in all, it was the most fun DayZ experience I've had.

    Change use of .50 cal Sniper Rifles

    In regards to the M107... 28lbs dry (no ammo) is a no joke weapon system. Every 7th around shot down range is 1 pound of lead released just to give you guys a idea (thats not counting the casing or the contents) The best common misconception of the M107 is that it is a semi-automatic sniper system... The weapon system is a 3 MOA system, and was made by Barrett and originally submitted as a EOD system for counter IED/material situations and solutions to be employed with engineers and EOD... The weapon was rejected on this basis and was sent home crying - Barrett then took the weapon system, renamed it a "Long Range Sniper Rifle" and resubmitted the unchanged weapon - the application was resubmitted to congress and sounded bad-ass, so it was approved. Anyone that has been into the Army Sniper School in the past 5 years (such as myself) is told that this thing is great for hitting people as the same rationalized range of a M24, or M110 - if you are unsure why - educate yourself on MOA (Minute of Angle) and then figure the rest out from there. Don't get me wrong, ya' can hit a freakin' technical (car) far out... but if you are shooting a single person 1200 meters out there is so many other, better solutions. No one uses these "carrying cases" during a deployment situation... they are used to transport the weapons from point a to point b, and the case is left at the FOB or COP. The weapon system can be broken down and stored, or shared between a 2 man team, but rarely happens. I've seen these weapon systems fired at close range targets, from the kneeling position unsupported so thats a myth that prone is the only option. Now that we've covered a few things... lets take other things into consideration. M107 is not the only heavy weapon system in the game. For example the M240B (belt fed) weapon system is 23 pounds dry, thats without its 100rnd'er hanging from there. That guy is fired from the unsupported position also. Will we be forced to be slower carrying a engine block, or a main rotor for a helo in our backpack if realism is the deal we are going to get carried away on? Our characters already move at a PT stud pace with a ruck, regardless of other factors - in a game where running is the most common thing, is this something we want to implement? Slowing a active sniper from making a escape will only lead to server hopping more and more for those "legit" Cherno/Lectro snipers - do we really want to encourage more Alt + F4ing, or ghosting? While it would be nice to see some type of heatcat system placed into the game, or some better ruck sack system in the game, it wouldn't be fair to only slow a player because he has a more dangerous weapon system. The only respectable thing to do would be implement a system that covers not just weapons but all items in your pack - but once we do that, the sniper with the M107 will roll low ammo, light weight... and you might have to dump that car engine in your pack to catch him... which in turn wouldn't lead the any solution at all in the first place. So I understand where you are coming from - me and my buddies always joke about being able to move so far, non-stop, with such a heavy load, and need very little water considering the movement speeds and distances we are doing... but I think if they ONLY did this to weapon systems that you dislike - it wouldn't solve anything at all.

    Simple base suggestion?

    This still wouldnt stop Ghosting. That person who wants to get into the supermarket you have blocked off could just jump servers until he gets in behind you. This is why Rocket was talking about Instanced underground structures, as this prevents players logging in behind you as the base would only appear on one server only. It would be nice to have the features you suggest but Douchebags will always find a way to spoil it.
  10. This is a WARNING for anyone who decides to play on this server, the ADMIN doesn't follow his server rules and abuse's his banning priveleges. STAY AWAY from this server unless you want to get killed, loose your gear, and then get banned for looking like "another" player who was "breaking" the server's rules. AKA they'll kill you take your stuff then ban you so you can't come back to put up a fight My little brother was playing on their server as was one of my friends named jake (in the game). My brother was on the AF and logged because he had to go to bed ( he's in highschool) anyways I hop the server on my account on my own computer to help jake my friend. Once I log in, I let everyone know I'm friendly then make my way to the AF, I'm instantly shot because I was "Ghosting" per server rules( " Ghosting = AS 50 Up the Ass"). They then went on to verbally harrass me ( "you mad bro?" x 20) and camp my body claiming I was the guy in the Fire house on the AF and I just changed my name and "ghosted" outside the AF to get a better shot at them. Which was not the case, seeing that I hadn't logged on to that server since the latest update came out. I was then threatened by [bSA] Mike and the aparent admin Jesus Juice that I was going to recieve a ban for ghosting and was not allowed to come retrieve my gear ( everytime I tried I was shot as a bambie[no gear]). I pleaded with them that they had the wrong guy, I even proved it to them by loggin on to my little brothers acct while I was still in game on my acct. and they insta banned him for "ghosting" saying "Bye Bye Douchebag" then banned me for "Ghosting" AFTER I Confronted them. I'm fairly pissed off by this, seeing that most of my friends who play this game play on that server. I dont have any screen shots or video of the incident so they'll get away scott free w/ my AS 50 and mk 48. I only ask that you punish them for blatant abuse of their power. Getting banned for no reason other than justifying their own claim that I was some how ghosting between two accounts and some how duplicating the gear so both toons were identical. That sounds a bit far fetched. Well seeing that the moderator will shoot down this thread, this last part is to you mr. moderator. This isn't the 1st time myself and several of my friends have been banned from this server for the same reason, this EXACT same thing happened prior to the ban list's resetting. If you can do anything to stop this power abuse I would be greatful, there's no way that should be allowed or even considered OK. This is the last straw I'm done playing this P.O.S. game, Everyone who play's is a total prick. Oh well I guess I can serve my own justice by flooding their server so no one can play, since you probably won't do anything about it.

We would like to build a community of players around our server that want to have fun and play DayZ. You won't be banned for killing admins or stealing our vehicles though we may hunt you down like the bandit you are ! Features: - Running a Bliss 50-slot private hive server - Running 24/7 - Veteran Difficulty - 3rd: On - Tracers: Off - NP: Off - CH: On - DM: On - Currently 150+ vehicles more may be added later - Always Daytime (For now may change later) - Vehicles / Tents properly saving - Side Chat enabled (though we don't want people using it for voice chat) - Death Messages currently enabled - Updates / restarts happen pretty fast and you get prior notice - Server in US - Database backups every 30 minutes - Our own private Mumble voice chat server Rules: Things not allowed No hacking No duping intentionally No ghosting - pretty much this shouldn't be possible on our private hive, but just in case someone finds a way to do it.. don't. No hoarding of vehicles - if you're two people, you don't need 5 vehicles. If your group has 1 helicopter, leave the others alone. This does not mean you can't steal vehicles from others, it just means don't create a parking lot of unused vehicles. No Alt + F4'ing to escape other players. Don't care if you do this to get away from zombies. Refrain from killing fresh spawns. You won't get banned if you happen to kill one, mostly what we mean here is don't camp the beaches looking for new spawns to kill. (Robbing, taking em hostage is fine). No using barbed wire or tank traps to block off popular spawn sites (fire stations, churches, etc). Exceptions to this are if you are inside the building at the time or if you are using the location as your home base. No begging admins for weapons or vehicles. If we want you to have it, we will add it as a spawn to the map where everyone can compete for it. No VOIP in side chat. We don't wanna hear your music, heavy breathing, TV, etc. No trolling or harassment over side chat. No excessive use of bad language, racist comments, basically use your common sense. We're not gonna kick your for expressing your displeasure in the fact that we just killed you, but just don't go overboard. Things we DO allow Kill on sight (KOS) is allowed though we encourage you to interact more with other players as we are trying to build a community here. Bandits are welcome, though we'd much prefer you truly play a bandit - hostage taking, robbing, etc are encouraged over just shooting on sight, though you won't get punished for KOS. Base building at major locations. If you can protect it, it's within your rights to own any spot on the map. Be prepared to really have to fight hard for the more popular spots. Role-playing is encouraged though not required. Anyone purposefully trolling or abusing someone attempting to roleplay will be dealt with harshly. Forming your own groups / clans. We'd love to have other active players on the server, whether bandit or survivor. If somehow you lose your gear / vehicles due to a hacker, the admins will work on replacing what we can. If you lose it due to zombies, bugs or glitch, we will not replace it. Sorry for this but it's impossible for us to prove you really lost the stuff this way. Interested in joining?   12. Hallo zusammen! Ich möchte euch gerne unsere Community vorstellen. Wer wir sind: Mittlerweile sind wir über 10 Admins, Moderatoren, Programmierer, News Reporter und Server Administatoren. Uns gibt es seit Anfang des DayZ-Hypes und seitdem arbeiten wir an unserem Community Projekt. Angefangen haben wir mit 3 Admins und jeder Menge Arbeit. Erfreulicherweise ist sowohl die Zahl unser Mitglieder als auch die unserer Admins enorm gewachsen. Und uns allen macht dieses Projekt nach wie vor sehr viel Spass und so haben wir uns schon das ein oder andere mal neu erfunden. Zum Beispiel haben wir unsere Homepage und das Forum völlig neu designt. Wir haben im gleichen Zug unsere Community über DayZ hinaus auf alle weiteren Survival-Spiele erweitert und bieten euch nun auch Infos und Forenbereiche für The WarZ und State Of Decay an. Spätere "Open World Survivor" Spiele werden bestimmt auch aufgenommen. So kam es, dass wir das Survival-Portal www.Zurvival.de gründeten um einen Anlaufpunkt für alle Survival-Fans zu schaffen. Was wir bieten: Zur Zeit haben wir 4 eigene Spieleserver in Betrieb und können bei Bedarf umgehend mehrere Server dazuschalten. Wir haben uns einen eigenen "Hive" gebastelt und benutzen Hauseigene Anti-Cheat Software um es den Hackern und Cheatern so schwer wie möglich zu machen. Hierdurch können unsere Community-Mitglieder in Ruhe DayZ genießen. Dieser Server ist passwortgeschützt und Ihr beginnt dort mit einem neuen Char (Der Original-Char bleibt unangetastet) damit jeder die gleichen Chancen hat. Mit diesem System unterbinden wir Server-Hopping und Ghosting, was es um ein vielfaches fairer macht. Zudem haben wir einen "Deathmatch" Server, auf dem man auch nach dem Tod sein Equipment behält und nach dem Ableben mit diesem wieder am Strand spawnt. In Planung ist eine überarbeitete Cheranus Map, in der nur Chernogorsk freigegeben ist für die Hardcore PvP-Spieler. Auf diesen Servern starten wir in unregelmäßigen Abständen Events wie z.B. 20 Helicopter auf der Map verteilen um einen epischen Luftkampf zu erleben. Ein anderer Server läuft mit dem rcon mod auf einem SSD Server, welcher konstant mit außergewöhnlich guter Performance läuft. Auf unseren Root-Servern läuft außerdem ein TS3-Server, auf dem alle herzlichst eingeladen sind. Wir bieten euch auch die Möglichkeit, Community-Squads zu erstellen. Diese Squads bekommen dann ein passwortgeschützten Bereich in unserem Forum, in dem man sich intern austauschen kann und so beispielsweise Events plant. Jedes Team bekommt bei Bedarf einen eigenen Teamspeak-Channel und so können sich die Spieler auch während des Spiels untereinander austauschen. Daneben bieten wir auch eine Art Kontaktbörse, in der ihr neue Mitspieler finden könnt. Hier haben schon viele Zockerfreundschaften ihren Anfang genommen! Und auch für solche Spieler, die gerne allein überleben, gibt es einen Bereich mit vielen wertvollen Tipps und Tricks. Wie ihr seht, bieten wir für jeden von euch etwas an! Was wir von euch erwarten: Ein fairer und höflicher Umgang mit den anderen Community Mitgliedern. Beleidigungen, Diskriminierung oder ähnliches Verhalten wird bei uns selbstverständlich nicht geduldet und kommt auch so gut wie nicht vor. Im Gegenteil: Unsere Community wird von Neulingen sehr oft als außergewöhnlich freundlich, offen und hilfsbereit gelobt! Was uns auf jeden Fall wichtig ist: Bitte gebt euch Mühe, wenn ihr etwas schreibt, damit auch alle es verstehen können.     There is so much i dont know where to start.il mention the most important ones. -less military type of weapons,vehicles and clothing. -more civilian type of the same stuff. -more endgame content is maybe the most important. -the end of following. Hacking, glitching, duping, ghosting, server hopping, force spawning. -Autogyro -working ATV's

  15. Wandered about this A.M. looking for a clear answer and found none. With the stand alone we we still be able to host a private server not connected to the main hive ? The barracks spawning, ghosting, server hopping mess that was the offical hives are but a memory for many, is its return due with the standalone ? I ask because the minecraft model that seems to be a great hit for millions lets this go on, or will the standalone attempt to tie millions of players to a central database, and do you have room rented out on some NSA server to handle it ? cheers
  16. Private hive is the way to go. Many have admins that can help if you are hosed by a glitch. Some are adding custom buildings and such that add to the experience. And best of all better script-kiddie response and no ghosting.

Be trustworthy. This I cannot stress enough, during your recruitment period you may be shown to a lesser priority base, and are expected to not give away said base's location. If we can't trust you, then you are worthless to us. You must be willing to do work along side other recruits, members, or senior members. You won't be given busy work, but some leg work may be asked of you, mainly to see if you can accomplish simple tasks. This includes following simple or complex instructions. You must be able to communicate clearly. This means not screaming in teamspeak or having a nerd-gasim, if you find something awesome (Unless you find the chopper, if you find the chopper you are welcome to scream and yell as you please).     Logging Out Location

    Well Can I suggest that all players are spawned back into the game 100 meters away from where they logged off from? That would offer a better game an also stop dead any combat logging and ghosting!
  19. I would rather take one for the team when my computer crashes then have it so every time someone gets shot they fucking instalog. I uninstalled the game about a week ago because i can't deal with the people on this game. The people who play this game are the ass pubes of the gaming community. Hacking, combat logging, ghosting, duping.
  20. I do actually, we need private hives. Dayz is meant to be played as the players want to play it and private hives allow that. When we go to public hives we have to worry about server hopping, ghosting,hacking and numerous other things that I have 0 percent of on my server. No matter what anti cheat software we have the only real way to stop cheaters is the filter the player, which we can only do on a private hive. To be honest if i had to go back to public hives i would just stop playing.

    I play on a white-listed server (MYDAY1) because i thought it would be a better community, no hackers, and no ghosting snipers, the ghosting and hackers are gone but the poor community is still there, so who is really to blame? Maybe Rocket should have changed the game somehow by changing spawn points? Yesterday while up the NE airfield fully geared and playing solo (because i love solo) I came across a squad of 5 players and after cat and mouse trying to get them off guard i must have been spotted from around 500 meters as i got shot while being in a tree, fair play to them. After respawning i got sniped 3 times on the coast in 5 mins and then as i spawned for the forth time it turned dark i ran towards a Ural that was beeping at me with it's lights on in hope of a lift back up north where i hold down a camp with 2 buses and a jeep like a boss!!!, as i was a fresh spawn and had nothing to lose i ran over towards him, he ran me over and reversed over me to make sure i was dead but i didn't die, no instead of bitch about it i managed to bandage myself on 100 blood in pitch black and decided to head for Electro crawling along the floor like Mitch fing Conners would and couldn't see a fing thing. The community is what it is, Rocket has designed the map the way it is and made the rules so you have to get on with it, you allow players to act with freewill and human nature will dominate, i suggest you guys instead of moaning about it form up some sort of Hero beach squad, You could call it Baywatch division Squad or something and you could clean up the coast and help out all the noobs. :lol: P.S anyone got a blood bag, Morphine and a army made to dish out Hell amounts of pain on MyDayz1 i can borrow... Oh if people see sqauds fully geared up they should be a bit more clued up then to run over towards them.

    I suppose I should clear up some things here. The OCB Panthera server is run on Vilayer.com - it uses the Vilayer public hive, not a private one, and is constantly tended to by active admins. The full transcript of events are as follows. Should anybody wish any further information, I'm sure Snipes (the owner of the OCB server) can happily provide logs for the date in question. After setting up a temporary campsite, complete with Ural (Civil), a GAZ and two UAZ, we were ambushed and killed by [NNA] Joppi and [NNA] Abbananna - luckily, Sgt James was in the lobby at the time and survived the onslaught. Upon return, James managed to kill one of the intruders, under the guise of me - I was trolling the two attackers, who believed that I was using both "Admin Powers" and "Hacks" to gain an unfair advantage, because of a much-needed restart (the server, and many other Vilayer servers, was reporting an error regarding server-side application versions). We encountered them again whilst driving to Triglav to rendezvous with HeinZ, our friend, and managed to shoot [NNA] Joppi - however, he ALT-F4'ed like a coward, and began ghosting. Not long after, a GAZ approached with [NNA] Abbananna within - who, upon being shot at, copied his clanmember in ghosting. Needless to say, we were prepared. We set up at the top of the opposite mountain, as an entire team, with views on all the entrances and exits from the valley. Soon after, our opponents logged in again - and woe and behold, they had changed position! [NNA] Joppi managed to sneak behind Jelle, another friend, but was killed by Lemons [OCB] - we never found Abbananna. Of course, tempers raged, and the duo complained that we were using hacks, scripts and all sorts to beat and kill them. This is, and was, of course, their apparent favourite retort - every time they've been killed on the OCB server, they've blamed a hacker, or shouted that somebody is hacking. This video was uploaded, as proof, to show them that we use genuine methods to kill prey, and that they should play the game more fairly, as well as reminding them that whining about something non-existent does nothing. I can only apologize for the lagginess at the end of the video. Things to note: Ural (Civil) was stolen from another player on the server. We are aware that some of the items within are prohibited (G36 ammo) and we do not use them. Soldier clothing, which was acquired from a previous scripter, has been permitted by the Vilayer staff (upon a query by an admin), and the server admins themselves - please take that issue up with them, should you feel the decision to be unfair. Please also remember Rocket's own words, that items may be used. Our team has full gear because we work together on a daily basis, helping each other out. Together with regular banditry, we keep on top of others on our server - we don't promote blind banditry, and will often leave players be if they so wish it. None of the players featured in this video have Admin status on the server. The Admins are: Snipes, Lordtrenchard and Dodgy Embalmer.
  23. I got the sidewinder x4 keyboard and do not regret it one bit. I was looking at razor etc but the reviews were not great. I guess when you pay that much ppl expect more. The sidewinder x4 does everything you need it to do and more, keys feel responsive and the backlighting is effective and has anti ghosting. I recommend it

    Can't login when playing with GF

    Okay after some time I tried to delete the port forwarding to 2302 and for some reason I could connect to the same server as my gf did! I don't know why it worked but it worked - for that day that is. We now have the same problem - we can't join the same server with the "ghosting" thing going on every time. I'm at my wits' end and don't know what to do, I didn't buy the game to play alone in the first place, I'm really frustrated over this...

    this has been so much discussed. Well, pick a scenario and try to bring it to a game, hard and resource heavy, or not, just changing the way zombies spawn, plus with the suggestions of clean and dirt you could say the smell of rotten flesh bring the dead to your village, so you burn all the bodies, this could call the atention to a lot of zombies, but if you can make them not reclaim the city and still make a low profile zombies wouldnt bother so much. In a way it could be the cities that aggro a certain number of zombies, player movements, death and other actions influence the city zombie agroing, remember that the zombies should spawn in the outskirts of the cities, faking that they roam the land.
