My server is based for new players and my group spends most of our time helping new players. We have custom vehicles tanks, apcs, jets, custom guns such as SCARs, G36s and much more. Also 6 more military bases around the map with military loot and vehicles. NO Mods needed. Elektro is a working safe zone for trading. We are a friendly group and there are a few other friendly groups playing on the server but there are also bandits lurking about. You can join us or them. Hi, just wanna tell you guys about our server. it is a dayz lingor server located in amsterdam with lots of vehicles and some good-tens (tents with good loot hidden on the map) we are looking for players that want to join up and get the action going! we have active admins when we see that there are players on the server! here is some questions i got about the server. 1: if you kill an admin do you get punished? : No? we all play the game on the same level either friendly or bandit! 2:Do admins start with better gear? : No, all play the game on the same basics! 3: voice in sidechat? : No, use direct or the other chats if you play with someone, Ts server will come soon Some of the rules on the server. 1, Dont ask admin for gear or other loot. 2. You may need to run to Bolata or Cherno since most people starting before you will take them and move them but yes you will spawn with a M24 sniper, and theres currently over 350 vehicles still alive on the map.

I'm down, but only if it's 18+ for a couple reasons: 1. No one likes a sqeaker, they're just fucking annoying. 2. Because they're annoying, people will treat them as such. 3. because people are treating them as such, they'll be more likely to betray the group when the opportunity arises. 3. People want a group where they can have actual conversations, not talk about Ben 10, and your 9:30 bed time. I love to play breaking point, and I already have a camp, and vehicles, so gearing up isn't a problem. However, I will keep my camp (and vehicles) separate from anything we form as a group, because rule #1. of forming a bandit group is "don't put yourself in a position to get royally fucked over". But I expect nothing less from you guys too. If we kill people, or find a camp, and I notice a gun or two missing, (spirited away to your legit camp) I won't say anything, because that's how us bandits have to play this game. Not to say there won't be any trust, but it will come with time, and it will have to be earned, and even then...it will always be limited. Hi Goose, The server locks 5 minutes before restart to avoid people logging on right as it restarts. As for helis disappearing you just have to hide them better. :) There are at least 2 others with helis that regularly search the map for camps and vehicles. My stuff gets stolen often too. Mercenary difficulty is where we're staying, no worries there. Kerbo

I want to pack a bus load of zombies and drive around the Arma landscape . We can theme it like we are going to stop at a nigghtclub and then get out and dance all night. We can also have a tampa party bus and drive around the bay area. If we ever get limos, sedans and off road vehicles, we can have crash derby contests. Something funnier is if we have tampa party bus races around the bay area. Zombies driving crazy woudl be a funny scene.

Hello, I don't know if this have been requested, but I think that is very needed. I have lost a lot of equipement because I don't know when the inventory of vehicles or tents is full. The only way to know if it is full is losing an item (and isn't very funny when you lose a good weapon. So I suggest that the inventory of vehicles and tents have the number of available slots, like the backpacks.

Very recently I was playing on a server for about 2 hours heading north from a new spawn on the west side of the map and I eventually worked my way up to nw airfield. As soon as I got to the airfield the admin gets on side chat and tells everyone there is going to be a free loot drop in Cherno. Everyone got all excited and he even offered heli rides to Anyone far away. This immediately took the suspense out of the game because I knew most of the server were getting free gear in Cherno. After scouring the airfield for a while I found a dmr and an m249 and went on my way very pleased with my finds. Soon after leaving the admin pops out of nowhere and asks If I want free loot and a ride to cherno. I told him I was no but thanked him and he left me alone for good. . Or so I thought. A couple minutes later he drives up out of nowhere with a fully repaired military vehicle and gets out and says "hey buddy you can have this if you want it's all yours". I politely said ohh ok thanks ill drive it for a while and started driving it away. I honestly felt pressured into taking it and just had a feeling like he would be mad and possibly kick me or something. I drove it for less than a minute and bailed it in the woods. It totally ruined the satisfaction of repairing and actually earning what loot and vehicles you obtain. This just really bothered me and I will probably not go back on that server again. The only problem is that I have a dmr m249 and m9 and I worked so hard to get them and I hate just leaving that character untouched. Please admins don't give us stuff it ruins the whole point of the game. We know you guys just want to help, but it really just makes us cheaters.

Hey guys! I have just started up a DayZPanthera server which is really fun with a lot of FRIENDLY people in it! I would say join, cause you start with a Bizon PP-19 against the zombies, and its not very effective against players. You get a map and some other things like a hatchet. It's a really cool server with active admins and much vehicles. So if you're looking for a good server go to DayZCommander -> Favorites and type this IP in at the top: 159.253.143.16:3340 Port: 3340 The title of this topic is also the name of the server, so you can find it like that aswell. A server that doesn't have extra vehicles or custom loot tables. Basically the original Origins servers.

We're addicted to populated servers. People paying for servers are addicted to filling their servers. If I have a choice of playing pretty much by myself in a server without side chat, I'll go to the one with 50 people and put up with the annoyance of side chat. It's the same with added vehicles and other crap. This drains the populations of vanilla servers and sends the wrong message to the people running servers. In my opinion allowing the servers to customize their settings along with a surge in DayZs popularity started this trend. People who just wanted to check out this new viral mod for a game they've never heard of all started to poor in. They opted for easier servers, admins saw the trend and responded, now I'm betting most of the casual gamers have left and a lot of the people still playing the dumbed down server are just doing it out of habit or laziness. They've looted a pistol a hundred times, why cant they just spawn with one? I think the best bet for DayZ mods' hardcore fans is to get the community behind the idea of a pure dayz experience, maybe even get a tag going in server names([Vanilla] or something) so people can filter for them. Get a few servers that are always filled and other server admins and most importantly, people will follow.

:) TY!Hey all just wanted to put up a decent update on our server before i hit the sack~gotta work early in the morning :S ~ Anyways we currently have: Cleared Roads Auto-Refuel Street Lights Full Moon Nights A decent amount of vehicles Additional Seating Chopper Tow Additional Anti-hacker protection-TSW A Custom DayZChernarus map * When I say Custom, i mean the Air Fields have additional buildings. Stary has a custom camp instead of the traditional camp. There are several stores and warehouse's placed all over the map. Green Mtn also has additonal loots. Skalisty Island also has some added in apartments, and buildings. There is also an admin base there that is a safe to all Heros :) There are also custom car spawns on the map as well. Finally to finish up here ~ I am getting sleepy and wanna play for a few more min :) ~ I have also put up a website as mentioned above. This has info to the server, as well as to our mumble. Trolls will not be tolerated! (i know how people can be :S ) Because of the cost to keep the server up and going we have been thinking about doing some (this is currenly being discused but not yet not decided) low key types of donations- will have more info on that later but some ideas are a Safe-Zone bubble, you can build a base in and it comes with our TSW, other ideas are custom load outs but we haven't worked that out yet because we do not want it to be 'OP', Car spawn at base, and other ideas but just need some work before we can even think about offering them. Any ideas feel free to post em. I do know that it is very nice to see our server populated we currently have up to 20 players a day and growing. However our bandit population is growing as well but it seems to stay on the friendly side...like haha i killed you and the person who dies says haha paybacks a bitch lol. Every thing is running as smooth as a dayz server can be expected hope to see some new faces in the next few days as my goal has always been, to get the server more poulated, cuz that is what what makes dayz fun! Sorry if this is an old question but I recall some people saying that dayz only supported windows servers and I am still under the impression that is the case. A million thanks for the item reporting of tents and vehicles now, man how annoying it was to think you had say a slot left in ur tent or vehicle and your gun gets thrown on the ground where you cannot recover it. * [uPDATED] - Hunters loot table adjusted with more weapons. What we got: 1. In game base building with automated gates and explosives that saves even after restart! 2. Lift and Tow. 3. Fast rope that actually works (some guys list they have it but it doesnt work). 4. NPC (AI) guarding major cities, airports, and custom loot spots as well as roaming the map. 5. Automated AI controlled UH1H's (non hostile) that fly around and you can shoot em down to create a Heli Crash loot site. 6. Self blood with a 50% infection chance. 7. Custom Wardrobe in scroll menu. 8. 350+ vehicles, and tons of things to fly! 9. Custom military establishments 10. A mumble server for voice (may switch to Team Speak soon) 11. Clan forum for updates, suggestions, etc. 12. Very active admins but only the server owner (myself) has access to admin map. 13. Added Halo Jump! 14. Added headshot only to kill zeds! At the risk of asking a really stupid question, and admittedly not wanting to look through 117 pages of posts to find the answer, maybe someone can kindly help me out. I'm considering purchasing a private hive server, so as an administrator what can one do? Can admis spawn weapons and vehicles? Is that part of the admin tools provided or does that require a little programming knowledge? How user friendly are these admin tools because i don't know jack about scripting. Just looking to rent a Dayz server for me and a few friends. Thanks for any help.

I think that it is also a matter of repetition and already knowing what to expect. Not so long ago, vanilla Chernarus excited me like no other DayZ map. I had a well hidden camp south of Black Lake on a high population server, and the interactions with other players - most of them bandits or killer clan members - heightened the experience immensely. That was just after 1.7.5.1 was released, and all I could think about beyond survival was finding and trying out some of the cool new guns, and experimenting with the new zombie behavior, etc. Now, I know where every vehicle spawns, how to go to ground and avoid other players, and how to easily defeat the once seemingly impossible new zombies. I think that some have grown tired of the same map, with the same weapons, roads, spawn points, vehicles, etc. That does not mean I want a 200 vehicle, m4 SD to start experience. I firmly believe that one should spawn in new on a server with just a toothbrush and a bad case of paranoia. However, some out there - many it seems - crave a somewhat fresher experience, and that is something available on a modded private server. I remain skeptical about the standalone. I worry - especially with console release mentioned - that it will end up turning into Fallout 4, with too many frills. Rocket's original idea remains brilliant; I just hope he is not pressured down a different path. Myself, I just want to play a hardcore zombie apocalypse survival game, where the zombies are bad guy number one, and the mechanics of survival are truly hellishly difficult.

Don't let the vehicle count fool you. If it says "200+ vehicles", that does not mean there are literally 200 vehicles strewn about the map. Common misconception. Anyway, there are a few good vanilla servers out there with a decent amount of players. You just have to dig deep!

Good story, I like hearing tales of the north. Just stating you should have hit him with the ural, which would kill him, then gone back for the other guy. I have hit vehicles in the past with a ural and it breaks everything going full speed.

You need to look in the ArmaOAserver.Rpt log, search for spawn, should first tell you which vehicles are spawned in at server restart, then roughly every 50 minutes after that there will be an entry for the helicrash spawns.
