Hey Guys, We just got a Dayz server, added 650 vehicles, and enabled rmod. It's always daytime and everyone starts with a pistol. There are 10 active admins everyday to avoid cheating or abuse. We host events in order for people to enter for a chance to win a free loadout. Events such as a machete fight or a competition to kill an admin. The first 5 people to join or anyone who brings a friend to the server will recieve a loadout with any gun! -

Lotsa Choppers,lotsa air drops,lotsa everything|Auto Refuel|Debug menu|No trash on the roads|Custom Loot|Cargo Check|Donator Perks| Think you got what it takes to stay alive, full pvp wars/team up and be the good guys or the bad guys your choice. I have set of custom barracks outside of the nwaf with high custom loot, extra hangers at bolta,neaf,nwaf. Lots of cars/urals/helis to go around. We always have admins on, No admins tools for cheating against other peoples, admins are on the same playing level as normal players we like to play the game just like you guys! We have auto refuel a nice debug menu(we are still taking feedback on this if people want it or not) we listen to our players. All trash has been removed from the roads to help players fps and reduce lag in the server. Server never goes down unless being worked on by me. Its usually always 24/7 daylight. the barracks outside of the nwaf has custom gun loot. There is a an2 that flys around drops carepackages with loot to. You can also selfblood bag on our server but becareful you have a chance to become infected. You can remove car parts or heli parts to repair you own. We also have cargo check, never again will u have to count how many guns you have to see if another fits in your car or heli. Donator Perks- We will build a base for you and put a protective dome over it never again will you have to worry about someone taking your stuff. Its a onetime fee of 10$ and you can add as many people to the dome as you want. We always have a teamspeak for players who want to group up and talk. Rules: No using voice in sidechat, this goes for our admins to No cheating or hacking No combat logging if caught you will be banned Most of all have fun! Dang you guy's cant read. it says the LOCK ABILITY for the rifles will be removed, so you can't pull homing shots on moving vehicles. Spawn chance will be LOWERED. Anyways, not sure if this is still for sale, but I have a DMR and an Mk.48. I have no ammo for the MK though. do either (or both) interest you?

146.185.20.210:3272 Join this server today! There are over 600 vehicles of which over 100 are helicopters! There are 10 different types of helicopter such as fighter heli's which allow the pilot to fire! There are custom cars with added machine guns on top! All this is useful for when you come across the custom AI! Be careful, they might try to kill you! There are also custom buildings in smaller towns! More barracks have been added so it is easier to find a better gun! The admins are nice and the people who play on the server are genuine top lads/lasses! What are you waiting for! The servers will be hosted by BIS to start with. (From what I've understood.) The servers will end up becoming hosted by the players themselves. Because the engine is now designed to work through the server and very little on the client-side, Bohemia will have most of the control. The servers will definitely not be as customizable as they are now(Unless they are utter morons. And I will stand to this opinion if that was to happen.), with people having 300+ vehicles and assault rifles as starting gear. Private servers will most likely become a thing, but what I'm hoping is that it only means that the server is not connected to the official hive, but will remain more or less strict on what the server host can change. (To not encourage people from simply making private servers to play with end-game gear and/or have a "PvP" server.) -

Hello guys! Come join my brand new DayZ server! IP: 92.30.181.23:2302 The server is currently NOT listed on DayZ commander so launch dayz and type "JJ" in the filter or the ip "92.30.181.23:2302" in remote. There is a custom base at Balota with weapon caches, food caches and medical caches! Most vehicles will be from Komarovo to Krutoy Cap and we will add more bases and vehicles around the map also a bridge to Skallisty Island and a few addons if we can figure out how because we are using DayZ CC and we are having some problems. Anyways come test the server out and give us some feedback and hopefully you will continue to play on it! The server has 20 slots and we hope to fill them! Thanks again Josh

That depends on the server settings and if its set to respawn unused vehicles. I still had a Uaz stashed on the public hive for 7 weeks.

I believe its a week after the last person touched it, but most likley it will be stolen within a day or two ( im always moving my vehicles around to minimize the chance, but i still loose em)

I'm surprised I haven't seen horses mentioned yet. Being able to saddle or ride a horse bareback(with varying degrees of success based on how wild the horse is and how much you've fed it/trained it) would be pretty awesome. As a general rule horses are quieter than motorized vehicles. Would be nice to be able to tie him up somewhere by the reigns if you dont wanna take him into the city. -

You clearly didnt get what i meant did you? DayZero has implemented scripts such as more OP weapons, OP vehicles .etc why must you get so angry im looking for Vanilla DayZ not another mod! Ive played DayZero and i didnt enjoy it. Since when were such things as handgliders in Vanilla DayZ xD -
I've thought about how JHPs would be handled but it creates headaches for me... some problems they would have: -they'd do more damage to vehicles and everything else -they'd do a fixed amount of damage relative to velocity, so a bullet that would be "explosive" at high speeds will also be considered "explosive" even when it begins to travel at low speeds (and the opposite) -Another similar example, accounting for the fragmenting effects of 5.56 would mean it would be considered to fragment at every velocity and range -they could be "too lethal", just like an AS50, a hit in the toe would mean instant death with the current simplistic system Etc. So I don't really consider expanding bullets at all since coming up with a way to try to properly "model" them with ArmA's damage system would make me go crazy.

Anyone else remember the great original DayZ servers before all of this new AI and Custom buildings? Is there still any old, normal, original servers out there that can bring back that First Logon DayZ Nostalgia? The fear of zombies and players, not awkward OP AI's and stupid amount of barracks and vehicles! Is there any good servers out there that can bring back some good original DayZ gameplay?? Please reply i wanna find some good original servers in preparation for Standalone :)

Hell hounds is a small clan that lays on the UK Winchester server. If anyone is looking to join a clan where we watch eachothers backs and share the loot just reply to this post. We are mainly a survivor clan, but have to bandit once in a while to get vehicles and stuff.

I agree. You raise an interesting point with the radio station. What good will this new mechanic be, if one cannot exert control over a radio station? The radio station needs to be able to be fortified to allow artful individuals/groups to fend off bandits who seek to gain control of the radio station. If a player/group logs out, leaving the radio station entirely undefended, what's the point of having one? Barricades should be difficult to make and difficult, but not impossible, to destroy. There should be varying levels of protection, like starting out with easily scavenged "chain-link" fencing to use as a door to keep casually geared intruders out. This would have the drawback of being easily defeatable (wire cutters) and able to be seen/shot through. Upgrade that to plastic sheeting, which would be still easily scavenged but able to be defeated (toolbox and/or rifle fire) easily and would not allow people to see inside your building. Upgrade that to wooden planks, which would be harder to scavenge, as you would have to hone raw wood logs into planks or scavenge them from industrial areas. This would provide a medium-level of coverage which could be destroyed with enough damage from a grenade or specific shotgun breaching round if further secured with a door lock or padlock. Gradually progressing up to a steel door, which would be difficult to scavenge for suitable armored plates and/or welding materials. Steel doors/windows would require something like a satchel charge to defeat which would risk losing some of the loot inside. This could also be tied in with a keycode locking mechanism like in Origins, which requires a battery to power. Thus requiring the player to scavenge for new ones when the old one dies, leaving the base vulnerable. Plus, would add a bit of intrigue in the divulgence of a clan's keycode. Oh, and plus... it'd always be possible to camp a fortified house and wait for the players inside to open the door... blast away, and walk through the open door! Something like that. But it'd have to be scripted for each house (i.e. Chernarushouse1 has 4 windows and 1 door, thus five access points need to be scripted). That and it would have to be suitably difficult for a group/individual to maintain and scavenge for, all the while being defeatable by something specific. This is key, as if everything is defeated by arbitrary "damage" then anyone with a hatchet can take down anything given enough time (perhaps the wooden door suggestion should be amended to differentiate between "Flimsy Planks" and "Hardened Wood Door", because hatchets can harm one but not the other). This will create a new role in groups of "Breacher", the guy who has the wire cutters, blowtorch, etc. to defeat any potential fortification. All while potentially under fire. But the main purpose of this is to limit the effect a single individual can have on a variety of things, because if X requires Y to defeat rather than Z, people will be less likely to have Y on happenstance. Whereas now, like with the Toolbox, once you've got a Toolbox you can do a wide variety of things to a wide variety of vehicles and construction components (construct, destroy, repair, etc.)
