Hello, We are glad to announce the release of our new server! We currently have AI, Self Bloodbag, Added vehicles, Added Buildings, Spawn with some minor gear, Heli lift and towing, A train along the coast, and Salvaging vehicles. IP: 23.29.119.162:2362 The AI can be dangerous, So this makes bringing friends more rewarding, However, If you wish to play solo, Make sure you have bloodbags to use on yourself!

HAHA! i feel for you ;) i second chabowski at this topic. first off all it would be nice, anything that improves the immersion is a yes for me. literally anything (besides sleep, poop, and pee maybe). secondly, there is a really really cheap mechanic to add loads of little immersion tweaking features, such as those "in-depth stuff": Text-messages! From the start, you can implement like 50 different messages just for vehicles. to give you slight hints, when something is/feels odd or when it comes to patching up things. Later on you could, step by step, get rid of text-messages and try to implement visual stuff, or for christ's sake even mini-game-esque gimmickries.

The picture of the supercharged gaz is not to be taken seriously, i'm not expecting anything like that. any kind of engine upgrade should be pretty much 'endgame' as far as the vehicle system is concerned, but the rest of the suggestions are all very doable by anyone with a bit of experience working on vehicles. Does it all fit within the scope of DayZ? I believe so, everyone has different ideas of where this game is going due its open world nature and the way its being developed, but i think one of the best things they can add is extra depth and complexity to every aspect of the game. Medical system, weapon maintenance, clothing, construction, hunting/preparing food and vehicles. nothing should be excluded.

Isn't Dayz a zombie survival game? maybe mess around with vehicles a lil bit but you guys are just getting silly. maybe armor up a vehicle with metal around it..... but i don't want to find myself spending a hour trying to find windshield wipers for my car.....

But seriously, would love to see more in depth vehicle maintenance and modifications, practical applications from modification. -Take shock absorbers and wheels from an offroad vehicle and fit to something like the gaz, giving an increase in offroad speed, but a decrease in handling. -Apply metal sheet to body work, thin metal would be good protection from zombies, thicker metal could provide small protection from bullets. -Roof racks, so you can find containers and strap them to the roof for extra storage. -Fit large oil drums to increase the size of the fuel tank, at the cost of storage space. -Bull bars, increase vehicles durability from head on collisions, with added bonus of sending zombies further when you homerun them. -Mounted weapons, LMG attached to the back of a pickup for example, would need to abide by the rules as normal hand held weapons, maintenance, limited ammo loaded by the player, and be very hard to aim from a moving vehicle. -Lights, upgrade headlights or simple add high power multi directional spot lights. -Engine upgrades, increase in performance, decrease in reliability. And as rocket has alluded, the more players work on and repairs vehicles the greater their chance of success in applying all these mods.

Well obviously no one would want to merge with someone who's a bad admin, those are the servers with no players anyways! :P There are likely plenty of servers with a small player base and good admins that could stand to merge and make it more worthwhile. Really should be some kind of system in place to stop the new servers popping up every day. So many come and go I gave up trying to find one to stay with, hence renting one. That and there were so few vanilla servers at the time...flavor of the month had taken over by then, whether it be Tavi, or base building, or 500 vehicles, or whatever. Honestly I just flat-out admin, its what I do...it's what I've done for years now...odd as it sounds it's what I prefer. Even if I don't play much, I'll admin a server when possible. Not so much to be 'all powerful' (though it can be fun in some games heh) but for the opportunity to help off the front lines, so to speak. I may consider checkin' out the MC though, it's been so long since I played....so very long. Many a long nights being the sole admin of a public MC server, needed a long break. :lol: -

Is that so?Making "bases" which are "safe", whether from zeds, players or the environment, is a BIG fuckup in DayZness. IMO Nothing should be safe. I've talked with some folks here before about having finite fortification-resources spawn in the same way vehicles do in the mod. That way, there's no load added to the sever if a barrier is dismantled and repositioned. Just pre-existing objects being shuffled around. The instanced, underground building idea was a solution to the problem of having huge amounts of data on servers. And it would sort that particular problem. The thing is, underground instances come with their own issues which IMO would be worse for gameplay than just leaving construction out altogether.

Ok, It's time! Just got the newest 1.7.7 from R4Z0R49 and I'm testing on my local server and updating our main Server for the 11pm GMT restart tonight. So far it all looks great! Vehicles and their damage systems are working just fine. Please remember that were running our own custom backpack ammo glitch fix, when you log out of the game you loose all backpack ammo and items EXCEPT guns and tools, (you keep your compass, axe, etc). Unified Apocalypse is a new community starting out trying to offer the best DayZ server experience possible for you guys, the public. We have just started our first server which is a PvP server with the amazing Sarge AI Framework. We are currently in the making of a feature that will make the server a lot more fun. This feature involves the complete revamp of the airfields and turning them in to full bases containing a lot of loot. Each airfield will be specific to the AI groups. North West will be the Bandit airfield which will only have ONE entrance unless you fly in by chopper. The place will be crawling with Bandits that just want to kill you, the Airfield will be full of custom buildings and box's containing amazing loot, this would be very similar to Salvation Island on DayZ Origins. The other airfields will be survivors and heroes but the loot will not be as good. This server is made as players want it meaning your starting loadout doesn't have much on it and there is literally no scripts on. No autorefuel meaning you will have to get a Jerry can to fill up. We are also ALWAYS open to suggestions and they will be voted on by the players. Zombieland Server is a very new server (just about a week old) that was made because we were sick of server admins kicking and banning players that kill them as well as doing other ridiculous things with their powers. (Such as spawning gear, vehicles, etc, etc.) Our server IP is 192.31.185.208 Port 3440 We host from Los Angeles, California giving great connection to most of the West coast, as well as mid East! Our server is pretty laid back, we don't care if you kill the bambies or whatever, but we do have a few rules: - All standard rules (No hacking etc.) - Don't use voice on the side channel. (It's annoying, especially if your mic is bad.) - Combat logging against players will be punished. (Please report this to an Admin) - Don't be a dick. (Many may think this falls under the first rule, but somepeople are to stupid to comprehend that.) While we are obviously new to hosting, and running a DayZ server, we do have a few plugins to get us all started, such as. - Auto Refuel! - Ai Bandits! - Custom Buildings ! - More Crash Sites! - Max vehicles! - Extra Weapons! As well as some that are coming soon! - HALO Jump! - Street Lights! - Fast Rope! - Ground Fog! - and more! If you have expierence with plugins for DayZ.st please do contact me! (I'm a huge noob and am having trouble finding out how to add HALO jump and Street Lights :( We are considering hosting server events such as DayZ Hunger Games, possibly with in game rewards, aswell as Steam gifts, but any news on that will be released when the server grows to a respectable enough size to host such events.
