    1.08 and still no bugfixes.

    The version shown when updating on the PS4 is different than what they refer to. That's what he meant with the 1.08. We are on 1.06 but that's not his point. I agree with the OP. Seems BI simply tries to fix what they broke in the previous updates without addressing the long standing, persistent issues like the inventory bugs, lag spikes with vehicles, etc. Some had been pointing to one of the blurbs in the patch notes as an indicator to addressing inventory issues but as I discovered yesterday, I think it was more specific as items still got stuck in my session requiring a server restart. It seems like the game now runs better for me in regard to the frequency of these inventory issues but no better than it was with 1.05 after this patch. .....so once again, a new, major update that never addressed the core problems with the game but introduces new bugs, and a patch / hotfix that simply addresses the new bugs but not the core issues. That is the main point here.

We encourage Survivor Stories, Community Building, and RP, and discourage RDMs (Random Death-Matches), Overzealous Trigger-Happy Children, and Harassment towards other players. If you are looking for a PURE PvP experience where you're free to gun down anything, and ANYONE that moves without a thought, then this is NOT the server you're looking for! If you still crave PvP, however, then clans CAN go to war, so don't expect PURE PvE, either! It's a fair balance to give players a choice in the matter, while allowing PvE and PvP Players to coexist peacefully together. ░R░U░L░E░S░ Randomly killing on sight is FORBIDDEN! Part of being in an RP Server is to respect your fellow players WITHOUT the fear of putting a bullet in your head within five minutes! As such, anyone caught sniping people at the spawn zones, or anywhere in general, WITHOUT being in a warring clan, will be shot down, banned, and their bodies raided by the victims they were hunting! We allow PvP via "Clan Wars", but if you're part of a clan, you must wear a uniform that has YOUR colors! Should you find someone wearing the opposing colors (IE: If you're at war with folks who wear a BLUE bandana), then they're to be watched carefully. Should they associate with others wearing similar clothes, then they are to be assumed as "Part of a clan", and are free to be attacked or robbed. Robbing people's bases while they're away is allowed, so long as you don't vandalize their constructions or steal their vehicles! In this server, it's been a few years since the outbreak, so expect the hungry to seek food and shelter. However, if they catch you stealing from them, then YOU are free game, as well! This is to promote RP disputes and in-character development. Conflict is inevitable, but you have to have an IC reason to be conflicting with others, first. However, be sure that it's obvious that your base is claimed! Lay down some foundations, and make your base a home. Then you may be less likely to be mistaken for a random "loot house". If you're ATTACKING a base, it has to be confirmed to be owned by a warring clan, AND AT LEAST ONE PERSON of that clan has to be online! Offline Raids while they aren't fortified is allowed, as per the previous rule, but FORTRESSES can't be raided without someone there to defend it! In this sense, however, their vehicles are able to be stolen if you are attacking them, and they ARE online! Racism, both IC and OOC, is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! This means using racial slurs, this means killing someone because they aren't the same race as you, this means forcing someone into slavery JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR COLOR! Catching hostages and forcing them into slavery is allowed, but not for racist reasons! (IE: You hold an opposing clan member hostage, and force them to do your work for you. THAT is allowed, as they are part of an opposing faction!) Peace Treaties are to be RESPECTED! If a clan calls for a truce, you must meet YOUR end of the bargain to promote peace! This means no backstabbing, no gunning down their faction, and no backstabbing, unless they don't meet THEIR end of the bargain terms! This means that, if they promise you food in exchange for peace, they have to show up WITH FOOD IN THEIR HANDS! If they don't meet their end of the bargain, THEN you're free to choose their fates! Note that FALSE TREATIES can be made if you're already at a warring faction! If you are NOT in a faction, you can choose to be a traveler. As a traveler, you're free to roam the world and trade between factions without fear of getting shot down. However, if you're a traveler, you can NOT fortify a settlement of your own and remain "Factionless". By establishing a base, you've made yourself your OWN faction, and as such, will have to eventually make choices that can determine who's your friend AND foe simultaneously! (IE: You are friends with BLUE, so you're now at war with RED!) Most importantly, don't be a jerk as a PLAYER. You can RP as a rude survivor, but if you're hateful to a player because of how they look or sound, you're just going to be a pain to deal with, and might meet a quick end from the administration team. We want this environment to be as peaceful as can be, while still being open-ended for wars to be made, because sometimes, we just have to blow off some steam. In the end, this is all about building a community, and playing it out realistically. Yes, bandits are going to be there, but there's a fine line between a "Bandit" and an "A&&hole". Don't be the last one, and you'll be fine. BANDITS! You are free to rob those around you, but you can NOT kill them on sight, and if they are robbed, you can NOT kill them afterwards! You're a bandit, not a murderer! You're just there to survive, not to be a d&&k. Remember that! VICTIMS! If you're being robbed, twice, you must let them know that you've already been robbed, and they are free to check your inventory. If they find nothing, then they still "Searched" you, and as such, you are free to go without worry! However, if you pull a weapon on them, you're essentially instigating combat, and PvP is then allowed for this instance! DEATH! If you die, your character is gone for good. On your next "Life", you assume a NEW identity, as a NEW character! Your memories from before are no longer present, and your faction has been reset to "Neutral". This means that, if you've been killed fairly, then you can NOT return to your killer seeking revenge! (I'd encourage you to Disconnect and choose another appearance, so that you don't randomly spawn in as someone you might not want to play as. Would be kinda awkward for a woman to sound like a man, after all...) KILLERS! If you killed someone fairly, then you can't keep hunting the same person down! That's harassment, and can get you banned if it keeps up. Just grab what you came for, and go! If they were trying to raid your base, however, then you can keep killing them if they keep coming with hostile intent, or if they're trying to loot your place. After all, they're breaking rules, themselves, and can be reported for it! MODS! This server has mods to ensure survival isn't a complete pain. In short, we're trying a more realistic approach to the hunger system, where you won't die in five minutes because of starvation. You can still starve in a few hours, though, so be warned! Food is STILL mandatory! One day in-game is one hour in real life, so not eating for three hours is, technically, not eating in three days, meaning you're bound to be starving at that point. VOICE! It doesn't have to be a quality mic. Heck, if you have a phone, there's a way to convert THAT into a mic using the WOMic App, or something similar. Just a way to let your voice be heard. A mic is VERY important in this server! If you lack a mic, however, then please invest in one as soon as you're able to! Until then, you may find it difficult to communicate. Regardless, though, while speaking, be sure you speak IN-CHARACTER. You don't have to be panicky when you see a zombie, though. It's been long enough that most people are desensitized about them. Basically, OOC Chat, or Out-Of-Character Chat is reserved for the text channel. Use THAT if you have something to say as a PLAYER, and not as your CHARACTER, please! ADMINS! Do you want to simply be an administrator, and help the community grow? Feel free to let me know via Discord or on this thread, and we may be able to discuss it even further! Just please remember to use your mic, and don't abuse this kind of power! You can spawn in items to replace what might've been lost via a glitch, or you can spawn in starter equipment for players who were a certain role, and requests something to start them off, like clothes and maybe a hammer or basic weapon to defend themselves against the oncoming undead hordes. No more than a few things, however, and no Military Gear, even if they were soldiers!     PVE Server Xbox Livonia

    Hi I have a 30 Day 10 person server on Xbox one on the Livonia map. It is a PVE only server. Meaning No killing other players, No stealing from other players, No looting or raiding of player bases. I would be interested in meeting up with some other survivors, helping with base building/ trading materials / items/CV weapons / food & vehicles . Gaining and unlocking applicable Xbox achievements. Or you can stick to yourself and peacefully build a base and survive without worrying about thieves or killers. NO DUPLICATING ITEMS I am a player since Game Preview and know pretty much all the mechanics. I only reset the server ( Not a wipe, just a server restart ) when items become stuck in containers as resetting the server fixes this.     DayZ Livonia is OUT NOW

    I’m never gonna pay for this dlc , because before the dayz devs lost all integrity they said this (and all dlc) would be free . im not ever going to bend the knee to these buttholes , especially when they haven’t even completed the goddamn base game yet . Dont let them have an inch or they will take a mile folks - I wish all of you were strong enough to realize this . Boycott this stupid game until they add the features that made dayz mod so great. . Still needed features already promised : helicopters , barricading , contaminated zones , 2 wheeled vehicles , zombie hordes , dayz namalsk map for free , shooting from vehicles , restoring electricity and power to cities , soft skills so players can become Medics and pilots etc etc , many weapons including less than lethal weapons , advanced medical system and many many many more features I have forgotten about .

    Yup...... Still no update to performance that I can see including vehicles. I'm still waiting to see what the full notes say about the patch that they are supposed to release later this week but it seems they are not doing much if anything to optimize the game for console (or PS4 at least). The inventory menus seem improved when navigating through them.

    Thanks for adding new stuff and fixing some old stuff. I urge you to address major bugs ahead of new content. My observations for PS4... BEWARE: Getting out of a running car that is parked and not moving will cause major damage. Looks like oil can be refilled, not sure if it is required yet. And very disappointed that EVERY WEAPON IS DAMAGED. Every single weapon I have collected and all of my teammates have collected are damaged, or badly damaged. On your person, in your inventory or in a container...badly damaged. Hopefully you have a few gun cleaning kits or its like starting over... I am afraid to try driving the vehicle we have managed to put together, nothing mentioned about making vehicles useable. Are there any brave souls who tried that yet? Still, we play on...

    Problems.

    It's true.... We can use as many work-arounds as we can but the fact remains that there are some glitches / bugs simply out of our control with no way I can think of (or heard of) that works to mitigate them. I've lost items from inventory, etc. after logging off. I've also lost things from our bases as well as vehicles that just disappear once we log back on. ......vehicles with items that took hours or sometimes days to find / collect.

    Hello Survivors, The new Update 1.06 introduces the long-awaited Bear and brings fishing into the game. New weapons were added, like the Vaiga and BK-43 shotguns, the Blaze rifle, and the Kolt 1911. We also implemented White-Listing, meaning that server owners will have control over who plays on their server using the add/remove functionality. Console players are getting new tools, as we are enabling the mouse and keyboard support on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.     On the Road to Livonia!

    I realize the desire to keep this a secret so to keep up the excitement and anticipation, but the issue with that is simply this is likely going to cause a server wipe for most players. These players and the server admin/owners are anxious about this wipe. So keeping the 'release date' a secret is like saying 'we are going to erase ALL YOUR GAME PLAY some day but we wont tell you win. Oh and the release is teased on an experimental server so have fun'. Please consider this and reconsider your 'keeping it a secret till the very last possible moment' plan. Even just a 'we plan to release this date if there are no new bugs to fix' or 'we are aiming to release it around this time' would be helpful. Next, as some one who plays both console and pc version, I do hope this update will resolve some of the console issues such as synchronization with server, the jamming/stuck magazine bug, the bug with not being able to load a magazine in a weapon despite the weapon showing as empty of mag. Melee issues where models (zombie and player) end up going through each other while in melee combat. Also issues where items in vehicles or tents disappear from the inventory. These are irritating bugs on the console version, especially for a game that I had to pay for, a game that is suppose to be finished and complete, but clearly is not. I apologize if this offends any one.
  11. Hey, I recently found a new server to play on. Road Warriors Deerisle. This dude works his ass off on this server. I don't know how many mods he has, but it has enough weapons, armor, and vehicles to keep anyone happy. There are building and furniture mods for bases if that is your thing. He has put in Traders, but his system is set up in such a way that you can't make much money from the selling of weapons and you can't buy them, you do something else for money. You sell weed you grow. The Deer Isle map, being incomplete, has glitches that the owner is all over quickly and fixes what he can. Cam, the server owner, works hard for his players. He has built safe bases for players to set up their own trader posts and this is how players make money and get rare items without having to farm for them. Players set the economy, you decide how much you sell a CheyTec for. You decide what you sell a Barrett for. There is PvP, base building, hidden underground bases and more. There are even missions to do and these are where you get the most rare items. This server and guy are awesome. The only problem I have with the server is that he has 3 more. I don't have enough time in the day to play on all four servers. So, just in case you don't like Deer Isle he has 2 Chernarus servers, one summer and one winter.     Is a kid.. when the people talk about "is just a bug.." the car is working in different servers they dont know anything.. the cars in a lot of official servers are buggy, the bases has bugs, the items and inventory has bugs... and the problem of all is the devs put new cars, when the cars are flying or new implement of fishing when has unballancing bases, inventory bugs and no physics for the bows...all the people wants bows more than stup**d fishing...this kids play like 2 years or guys who played pirate version like KajMak64Bit2 and dont know anything about 2013 until now 2019.. They only put excuses in favor of the developers, there is no excuse to charge a map when they said that the people who paid in 2013 should not pay any dlc .. Now the developers, I have to say, are more active ... but the times they promised things, everything was never fulfilled too late ... when they took out a patch they said in 2 weeks it would be implemented ... but it was almost 3 months and just there they were implemented to the experimental and then quickly to the stable. in the 0.63 they said that the physics for version 1.0 were going to be, the bases fixed the cars fixed and the infected area .. But then the 1.0 arrived and they took out a sign that after 1.0 they were going to implement we are in the 1.06 and there is no none of that good .. If they are going to make the excuse of "they are focused on more important things .." Ohh then is it more important to put a new car every patch or put nightvision? or fish ?? Instead of fixing the physics, cars, inventory, bases? If you are going to implement something, finish it and give priority to what you implemented, do not leave it in half ... It was preferable that neither the vehicles or the bases were implemented, before having something like that ... I can spend hours and hours talking about the evolution mistakes, lies and promises .. I bought it on December 18, 2013 and I played it every patch and stop playing it for how broken it was before... Now im waiting about ballancing bases and after that the bows and obviously invetory bugs.., I want to see improve and to see that it improved. And pay it when it deserves to be paid .. today does not deserve that.... What really gives me a bit of anger I think .. is that modders can fix all that and improve the game by fixing bugs and official developers can't... I hope they can improve the game and not charge something that is recycled and they promised that they did not charge the people who paid the game for the alpha ..

    Remove drag and drop.

    1. Remove the drag and drop from inventory management. This is not PC. 2. IM should have more press button options. Example: Press X to send to Vicinity from Inventory. Or Press A to grab item. Use bumpers to move. Press A to drop. Jus a couple of ideas for IM. 3. RT to attach needs to expand to everything. Example: We can RT to attach camo nets to tents, tires to vehicles, etc. This needs to be expanded to... RT to place items that are in hand in containers (barrel, crate, tent, etc) if space is available. RT to attach logs, kindling, large stones, etc to fireplace. I could go on and then I remembered the button press options we have now don't even work most of the time. So what's the point in adding new shit when the shit we have now doesn't even fucking work as intended. I kinda lost it there at the end. But you get the idea. Remove drag and drop. Add more button press.

    This one is just an asset flip , not gonna buy it especially when there’s so much work to be done on the core game like balances , bug fixes and at least a dozen new features promised for years . Barricading , Helicopters , 2 wheeled vehicles , contaminated zones , shooting from vehicles , restoring power to towns for lights and other things , less than lethal weapons , zombie hordes /dynamic roaming horde , soft skills such as mechanic / medic / pilot etc , weed/alcohol/tobacco for currency and RP items . Theres probably more that I'm forgetting , but ya we REALLY needed the copy/paste map with no new features .. I’m SOOOO GLAD we spent so much development time , money and focus on it ! -_-

    So what's the deal with vehicles on console? Are they glitched bc I've fixed two tried to drive them and would be in the middle of the map and all the sudden either crash into nothing or fly across map instantly and land in the water in the south or East!

    It is not me who is ignorant here it is you and consoles plebs who do not accept death of their beloved console... Also devs did promise us content... We WILL get that content at some point... If you think it's easy please buy a plane ticket and visit Bohemia HQ and have a tour of their office and how they work and in depth information on game development and see for yourself how complex developing such features are... For fck sake not even Scientists know the physics of a bicycle and you want the devs to implement 2 wheeled vehicles... Basically optimize the game... Or as one individual said which i forgot the name of... They implement a system where the cars run client side and server is doing checking of vehicle movement so in case of cheats/hacks like teleportation or speed hack.. the server can teleport the car back to last know legit location.. something of a hybrid between fully client side and server side...

    Parking Vehicles Inside of Buildings

    I am not able to park my car in a building without trouble. The trouble comes from when the server restarts/resets/crashes. The car will shift inside the building, even end up ruined against a wall. I've seen cars flip or end up on the ceiling this way as well. I've tried with tires on and with them removed, no difference. From what I understand now, the cars are being placed from above and drop on the ground when the server starts. Has anyone else tried or seen otherwise? Any success? Tips? I'd like to see this added to the list of fixes. @ImpulZ

    You People said YEARS ago that there would be NO PAID DLC AND WE WOULD GET ALL FUTURE CONTENT FOR FREE . why the hell are you backpedaling on that now ? You haven’t even finished the game , where’s contaminated zones , where’s helicopters + 2 wheeled vehicles , where’s shooting from windows (trello post 2 years ago shows this as “coming soon”), where’s soft skills like medic / mechanic / pilot, where’s less than lethal weapons , where’s roaming zombie hordes , where’s barricading ? You have SOOOO much to add and yet you’re telling us (those that supported you since December of 2013) that we have to pay AGAIN for a new map that surely everyone will be playing ? Thanks SO MUCH for going back on your words , and thanks SO MUCH for not even feature completing your game before forcing us to pay more to unlock features and content . Incredibly disappointed in these decisions , and I’m truly not sure if i want to play Dayz until we at least get the aforementioned features that we are still missing. I can’t even state how disappointed I am with the “new devs” way of things , where’s the integrity anymore ?

    Chernarus is a beautiful map. I still have to explore Livonia more to develop an opinion. I was recklessly playing the other night and I found that many of my respawns felt like I was going through the same areas over and over again. With Chernarus, every life does feel pretty different. Not hating on the new map but I feel like it especially needs working cars to make it fun whereas Chernarus is somehow still interesting without vehicles.

    it's obvious that base building is a placeholder... current base building is just a fence and a gate.. what about roofs? walls? windows? ACTUAL doors that only human can go trough and not a gate which is meant for vehicles...? Base Building is fixed with DayZ Expansion mod tho... i feel bad for Console people not having modding support lol 😄 i feel like Console people will spent years until they get a functioning game just like we PC guys did... 🙂

    It's odd..... I rarely get knocked out but it always seems weird to me that a zombie would be able to knock a person out by simply flailing their arms. .....maybe by another player wit ha well placed headshot but not with a helmet. Definitely needs some tweaking. Regarding the car..... I totally agree. They should nix the player damage for now. I would even go as far as saying that they should drastically reduce or eliminate the collision damage to vehicles until they can get the lag spikes fixed. I would say that is the #1 leading cause of people losing their cars in this game right now. ....at least for those that don't disappear. I'm so tired of having to drive around the game world at or below 20kph.

    Yeah..... I'm more interested in what 1.06 will bring in the way of fixes to console. If they could finally address the major issues plaguing a lot folks like lag spikes in vehicles, game freezes / crashes, weapon / mag glitches and inventory items getting stuck, I would buy this DLC in a heartbeat.

    I am not interested in the slightest for a new map with old bugs, especially if it costs. Furthermore: raincoats should be attached / placed over clothing. We don’t want 20 slot raincoats fix rain penetrating tents first infected don’t set off land mines or bear traps. Will bears set off bear traps? Anything that walks and breaths should set off both, even chickens. Especially chickens! 😋 we want land we can build on, flat and open spaces to build please give us the ability to make a door/window in the base walls why do we build base walls, but cannot manage to make them just one foot higher to prevent infected from jumping them? New map, new car parts system, same old bugs and vehicles with no power #golfcarts4life Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Wait, no. Never mind. only bears, and lots of empty and lifeless jungle. 😋 logically, the new map. Layout will promote experienced/established players, loitering on top of fresh spawns. 😕 we still can’t form groups or parlay. Players Duping players is the toxic thorn crippling this game. Fix it and watch your game and community flourish. mmhm, not interested

    Vehicles could build up torque to go up hills and even burnout

    I didn't see it on your list but perhaps I missed it or maybe my friends and I are the only ones affected..... After exiting a vehicle (as the driver), the player will sometimes freeze in place for a period of time. It's very similar to how a lag spike occurs and can be at the moment you step out to about a minute later. That glitch seems related to vehicles in the game and the lag spike issues. ....just thought I would throw it out there.
