Cannibalism if you have a knife on your player you are now able to gut dead players for raw meat! be warned that u will lose humanity for doing this. . Spawn selector when logging in as a fresh spawn after death or for the first time you will see a new option asking you to choose a spawn location. once you have selected a location the menu will be gone. if you do not choose one it will disappear and you will stay at your current location. . set fire to camping tents and dead players bodies. if you have a box of matches on your player you can now set fire to tents and dead players. scroll mouse wheel and click on the option you want. .Automated AI bus route! a bus controlled by AI now drives the route from Berezino to Kamenka, stopping at bus stops on the way. some time the bus will get a little stuck due to the rubble on the road. be patient it will get around it. .Bi planes now have guns! and the option to sky write. jump into a bi plane and scroll mouse wheel. you will now see an option to skywrite. click it and smoke will shoot out the back and leave a pretty trail. when in pilot seat you can now left click to shoot. automatic humanity perks (read down under bandit and hero perks for more info) Auto Fuel & Auto Vehicle ammo reload points (read down for more info) Choppers Can air lift vehicles (read down for more info) Halo Jump from choppers Lots of Choppers, Planes!!! Custom Content (read down for more info) Self blood bag Suicide Script (read down for more info) Remove clothing from dead players Syphon fuel ) Bandit & Hero perks (read down for more info) Run by long time gamers, our aim is to create a fun and fair environment for like-minded individuals and DayZ fans alike, well as fair as can be. The server has a green zone surrounding the medical outpost/base located between cherno and electro The green zone is a no shoot zone! pvp is not allowed in this area and scripts are in place to stop players from shooting or being shot at All players are welcome(EXCEPT HACKERS!), be you a Hero, Medic or a Bandit. The server has no password so come check it out :) . the server will restart every 6 hours (with regular warnings) Air Lift Vehicles all you need to do is hover over the vehicle you wish to lift and scroll mouse wheel. u will see an option to left the vehicle. select it and the vehicle will now be attached to the chopper. To drop a vehicle, scroll the mouse wheel and select drop selected vehicle. be warned that if you drop a vehicle to high it will damage/destroy it. Auto Refuel Drive to any fuel pump or tank and turn off your engine. Scroll your mouse wheel and then select refuel Halo jump from choppers weather you are a passenger or the pilot you are able to halo jump. once the chopper has left the ground an option will be available to halo jump when you scroll the mouse wheel. Clicking this option will eject you from the chopper and will then enter a dive. when ready scroll and select deploy parachute. Suicide Script This script allows the player to commit suicide! :) can come in handy if your stuck in the middle of nowhere with a broken leg or for any other reason you wish to shoot yourself in the side of the head! to use you need to have a side arm and at least 1 bullet. Switch to side arm and then scroll mouse wheel and select commit suicide. You will then have an option to back out or go ahead and blow your brains out. (be warned once you choose YES there is no going back!! Blood bag Self Players are now able to give themselves a Blood transfusion. Collect a Blood Bag and place in main inventory. Scroll your mouse wheel and you will now see an option to Self Blood Bag Doing this will give you 4000 Blood back but will also give you a 10% chance to catch an infection. Bandit & Hero Perks Bandits and Heroes will now be Rewarded for obtaining a high level of plus or minus humanity. WE have now implemented a humanity reward system which at the moment is set to vehicles at various bases around the map (hero, bandit & medic base) you will only be able to gain access to these vehicles if you have the right level of humanity (please check the bases under Custom content to see how much for each vehicle) Custom content medical outpost located in the green zone between Cherno & Electro just west of Cap Golovo, designed for MEdics to use as a base camp and for players to stock up on med supplies. the base includes 2x AH6X (+5000 Humanity needed to be able to gain access to this vehicle) 1x BAF Offroad (+5000 Humanity needed to be able to gain access to this vehicle) 1x Old moto (+5000 Humanity needed to be able to gain access to this vehicle) The outpost also includes a medic building and can only be accessed by players with +5000 Humanity inside is a npc which when scrolled on will give you options to equip your med gear and your med skin. also inside is a tent with medical gear in just in case The Med base and green zone is a no shoot zone! pvp is not allowed in this area and scripts are in place to stop players from shooting or being shot at Any other vehicles left at the Out Post are left at players own risk!!!! The Hatchet INN Located in the Centre of Cherno Near the statue and big hotel building Welcome to the hatchet inn. made for players to hang out and grab a bite to eat. inside you will find a friendly NPC ready to take your order. you are also able to sleep in one of the rooms upstairs if your blood gets a little low and you need to rest. be warned that this is still a pvp area and you may get shot at! Bus depot created for players to create bus routes with and general pickups Charge at bus stop or do it for free your choice (use your imagination with this and will be interesting to see how it will turn out) the bus depot is located in the Kamenka area near end of map and consists of 2x bus Bandit Base Located on top of Klen hill. Set up for bandits and consists of 3 (1x Huey) vehicles that are locked out to all players except bandits that have reached a high level of negative humanity (-5500 humanity for ground vehicles and -7000 humanity for air vehicles) Hero Base Located north of Cherno Set up for Heroes and consists of 3 (1x Huey) vehicles that are locked out to all players except Heroes that have reached a high level of positive humanity (+5500 humanity for ground vehicles and +7000 humanity for air vehicles) Skalisty bridge Added so players can access Skalisty Island with a ground vehicle. The entrance to the bridge can be blocked of and guarded by players. Skalisty island A Base has been placed in the centre of the island as well as new buildings scattered around the island. Also a scrap yard, Grave yard and power plant has been added. this is also the location for our death match events Randomly Placed Buildings. Buildings like the fire station and general stores have been placed all around the map. also lots of sniping outposts, watch towers, nests and camo netting Ballota, NW & NE Airfield improvements Extra Hangers, Barracks Fire stations, etc have been placed at NW & NE Airfields as well as a construction site with cranes placed at Ballota Airstrip Rules The usual no voice in side chat, no hacking scum or scripting bastards. The server is running Anti-hax among other scripts to keep out the scum as well as admins regularly checking logs for suspicious activity. The green zone is set up so that players have a safe pace to trade and get medical attention. No pvp in greenzone If a player is found to have attacked or killed some one in green zone then a warning/ban will be applied Robbing other players in green zone is allowed! so be careful who you have by your side No Heli Hording! please don't horde all the choppers. Vehicles Have Been re-added north. and custom spawn points for them have been added in meaning you will have to enter the world and head north. we have the best experienced administrators as we can get. we offer a teamspeak3 server for you guys to join and have fun. I will now post the server tweaks. Animated Heli Crash Sites - Depending on the playerbase depends on the AI heli spawns. Custom Loot-Tables- We have edited the loot-tables so Only High Powered weapons spawn at heli crashes, DMR'S, Ect. Added in a few weapons. M240 Scope*Heli Crash Spawn Only Weapon* AS-50 Has a 1 in about 1000 to spawn at a heli crash. A Fog System, depending on how much it rains the fog will build up and up till you cannot see more then 500m away!. A few days ago someone was reporting the updates on Reddit. I was astonished when they said the team relayed that they "just started working on vehicles". Why is no one concerned that they JUST started working on vehicles? Isn't something that complicated and such a huge feature of a completed DayZ that it is something they should have been working on for at least 6 months already? On one hand, God Bless them for their honesty. But on the other.......... We sure as hell ain't getting no vehicles until after Christmas. This is horrible news and yet no one has said a freaking word about this. I have waited patiently for 5 days seeing if anyone else noticed this little accidental admittance of bad news from the dev team. -

Hi, im simply wondering when vehicles will be released for Dayz Standalone. I know they aren't expected until late 2014, but do we have a more specific time yet? Vehicles should have been a big priority earlier on, as nobody likes wasting hours just to get from place to place. Any info will be appreciated, serious answers only please. Thanks!

Hello If you are interested in DayZ Epoch Chernarus 1.0.4.2 look no further :) Me and my friend set out to start a server where donating would not result in a huge advantage, so far in the month that we have been open our server has been gaining in player base all the time. We aim to create a fun, mature and active community of like minded individuals, with a healthy balance between loot dropping from various locations and fun server activities to take part in. Server IP: 37.59.90.80:2402 600 + Vehicles | Custom Airfields & Traders | Extra Military Loot | Custom Loot Tables | A.I. Missions | Safe Trader Zones | Tow / Lift | Repair / Refuel | Active Admins | Building Snap | We are located in Paris (GMT+1), are lag free, have high FPS and have active (fair and fun!) admins. Our server features currently stand at: Tweaked loot spawns in military installations (drops and spawn rates), Custom trader cities, Custom airfields, Secret airfield, added buildings in various cities, added vehicles and weapons to bandit/hero vendor, 4 hour restarts. Wrapping things up we have Infistar anti hack to try keep out those pesky cheaters. So far the addons we have installed are: Tow & Heli lift. Self Bloodbag. Snapping. Auto-refuel. safe zones. AI Missions. We have (at present) no plans to add indestructible bases, however there is no building maintenance (i.e. building do not degrade over time) . The main goal we have in our server is to promote a fair and fun environment to play in. Free of admin abuse, free of m107 load out gear for donors and other unfair advantages. While the server is militarized to a degree (For example Hmmwv crow m2s, ka60s and BTR60s are purchasable for a high price) we aim to keep the insane military loot out of our server. Hi DayZ players, I would like to advertise a new high performance 120-slot DayZ standalone server I have just launched. I am an old school ArmA2 DayZ player, inf vet, and realism modder and I have certain preferences that I'm sure some of you may share. I am also looking for 10-20 administrators. RebsOldSkool IP: 104:243:38:74 PORT: 2032 Discord: https://discord.gg/wkxE9ejwK5 The server is modded so I recommend that you connect through the launcher to auto-download the mods. Type the IP into the server search bar and refresh. If the server doesn't show, contact me via discord, it probably is in maintenance. The server has a 20-minute automatic maintenance every day at 6 AM. Server Features: - 120 player cap. - DayZ Expansion bundle. - 500+ random lootable AI bandits. - Realistic ballistic overhaul (see below) - Selectable spawn points by coast so that you can play with friends. - 3 hour days, dark nights. You spawn with flashlight and Makarov. Flashlights, flares and batteries are common loot. NOD's are rare. - Network range set to 1500m for longer range firefights and sniping. - 4 hour server restarts. - 24 hour server steam update. - Flare fix, flares last for 4 minutes and fall slowly. Flares are the bread and butter in night combat and are common loot. - More randomized weather and colder environment to better fit an autumn Chernarus. Temperatures range from -11 C (11 F) to 20 C (68 F). You can actually die from bad exposure now. - First-person only, no combat camera gypping like in Sniper Elite. - 3-hour survivor corpse time. - Harder but more dispersed zombies, zombie sound revamp. Zombie speed, attack, perception, health vary based on zombie type. Zombies are easier to stealth through, especially at night. - Higher animal pop cap and profitable hunting. - Realistic stamina, don't lug the Barret around for a loot run. - Completely revamped loot spawns, no more clothes clutter everywhere. - Trader system with revamped economy and mod items. - MVS reworked gear & Snafu weapons. Modded gear appear on AI and in market. - Bullet cracks. - Inventory sound and animations - More ghillie suit variety. - Mrt's MRE's spawn at military bases. - 2 minute logout time to prevent combat logging. - Decluttered UI, no crosshair, player or group location indicator on map. You will have to use real target identification, rangefinding, and land navigation. - Notification/killfeed system for non-firearm kills. Snipers may have to confirm their kills. This also prevents players from knowing whether or not they are fighting a human or AI. - Vehicles and containers last 1 month, traps and mines last 6 hours. - Players start with full energy and hydration to balance them against the living, more kitted, and more desperate for food players. - Cheap and common explosives, but base assets are fairly cheap too. I want to push players to use stashes or hide bases rather than build massive immersion-destroying forts. - The only rules are no cheating and no gear swiping at traders. You can do whatever you want. The economy is how I control gameplay. - Active admins to ban cheaters, no admin abuse. - Wrecks and garbage clutter added to cities, more to come. Ballistics: - Every bullet is modelled off of their common military ball/civilian FMJ equivalent - i.e., M80, M855, 57-N-323S, etc. Around 50 new ammo types from 12g birdshot to .30-06 M2 AP have been added. - All bullet mass has been increased to enable realistic material penetration and have been made consistent to one another. It is now possible to double wallbang with full rifle cartridges such as .308 and 7.62x54mm. - Bullet damage changed, calculated using a modified formula of the Taylor knockout factor. I felt this was appropriate since the game uses the exact same variables as the formula and bases damage on velocity. The formula is not necessarily perfect in real life because it does not account for bullet construction, but neither does damage in real life have as much to do with velocity as in the game. Pistols for example have much greater damage but lose it faster than rifles over distance. - Bullet material accounted for, steel core bullets have 20% more penetration but 20% less damage vs. a lead bullet of their same mass and velocity. - Bullets that are capable of penetrating NIJ level IIIA armor in real life all have varying degrees of armor penetration, not just 9x39 AP. .308 (M80) will penetrate armor better than the subsonic 9x39 AP (SP-6) as an example. - Tracer rounds are ballistically the same but slightly less accurate compared to their ball equivalents, as in real life. - Shotgun buck and other small projectiles can now ricochet as well. - Buckshot modelled off of 00 buck, pellet count increased from 8 to 9. - Shotgun slugs do serious damage due to their size, and will likely be a 1-hit kill at most ranges. - Bullets retain velocity/damage longer since average weight is increased. - Rifle bullets have flatter trajectories overall, however, it did not break zeroing as far as I could tell. I think there is a game algorithm governing zeroing to the bullet attributes. - Firearm recoil modified by a calculation based on cartridge size, gun weight and bullet velocity. Pistols have noticeably higher recoil. - Gun accuracy corrected based on real life minute-of-angle and cartridge type, a 5.56x45mm M4 is now more accurate than an 7.62x39mm AKM for instance. - Gun sway made relative to weapon weight. The heavier the weapon, the more sway. - Snafu weapons incorporated with the above changes. Bandit AI: Bandit AI can spawn and move anywhere, and fight each other. Bandit AI can spawn with any weapon or piece of gear. Some bandit AI are heavily kitted with armor, grenades, and machineguns while others have whatever can be had. Others wear ghillie suits, employ suppressed carbines and sniper rifles and stay in the woods. AI can come in varying group sizes. AI cultist and military zones are also incorporated. AI accuracy is tuned not to be impossible but pretty difficult, like fighting a veteran DayZ player. Modded items aree fully integrated in AI spawn lists. Loot: Loot is fairly common, with ammunition spawns increased over vanilla to better support the new weapons. Loot has a much quicker lifetime time (i.e., 1 hour) than vanilla settings (2-8 hours). Loot that is in player caches and on their person does not limit the loot spawn rate. Food is less common but can still be had. I see food as the reason to keep players moving. Modded items are fully integrated in loot lists. Traders: DayZ expansion traders sell modded items and have limited stock. Items are sold with currency in the form of dollars, silver and gold. Trader prices vary based on trader location and prices vary on stock. Price elasticity on all items is very high, so you can make good money by trading between traders if you know what to buy and sell. Radios now have some use as you may need to use them to contact other players for trader prices. Vehicles can be bought and sold at traders and doing vehicle recovery can turn a serious profit. Modded items are fully integrated in market lists. Events: Currently I am putting together the player team to host events, which will consist of armored convoys or helicopter raids w/ QRF. Player events will be announced in discord. Community: Alot of ex and current military guys who are looking for mature players. We have a freedom of speech but respect others policy in the discord. We don't roleplay ourselves but we do like to employ real life infantry and vehicle tactics into the games we play. -

Possible way to implement vehicles fairly into DayZ

I'm new to this game so I dont know how many of which item there should be out there but what they could do is give these items a lifespan of so many hours of use like in real life. All vehicles and parts being release with Global limits. Higher numbers for more real life common vehicles like a standard passenger car. Low numbers for vehicles like Helis and other military vehicles. Like cars and helis and other vehicles they would all start missing certain parts that they need and it could be different for each vehicle. Like you may find one car that is missing some belts spark plug wires etc another missing tires with some of the better vehicles missing harder to get parts. The same for helis and since helis are such premium items they would all start out missing a few common parts and at least one rare part but it would be different parts so that all helis werent missing the rotor as its rare part. One may be missing a rotor and another missing an important and rare engine part. When they emplemented the vehicles a certain number of these different rare parts would be released and globally restricted. The parts could be initially released in phases. For example they release X number of rotors then a couple or few weeks later they release X more until they feel they have the right number out there. Each of these parts would basically come with a timer on them with a random X number of hours of life for each part. There wouldnt be a timer that Players could see or anything. For example you may find a rotor that has 100 hrs of life left or find one that has 50 hours of life left. You wouldnt know. Just like in real life. When you buy say an alternator for your car it basically comes with a timer on it because sooner or later it is going to break and you will need to buy another. Once they make the initial release and have the number of those items out there they stop spawning them. Then every few weeks or so they release a few more. By that point some of the rotors from the initial release would have used up their lifespan and basically broke. If you had managed to get a working heli eventually the rotor fails and you will need to find a new one. Doing it like this would prevent real hardcore Players and Clans from basically hoarding up all of the rare parts. It would also prevent there being a million helis out there. Here is an outline for how it could be emplemented. Like I said I dont know what amount of vehicles or parts is appropriate so I'm just going to use some random numbers. Also this is an example of Helis missing rotors as their rare part. The same thing could be done with helis missing a different rare part and the same for other vehicles. All vehiclee would also be missing some random more common parts and some interchangeable parts like tires. So you could have a car with 2 different size tires different color doors ect. Example: Helis missing Rotors 1) Release 50 Helis missing Rotors as a Global limit. They could release more over time to replace any that have been destroyed or as the Player base increases 2) At the same time release 25 Rotors (all with random number of hours life span maybe between 50-200) 3) 2 weeks later release 25 more rotors. 4) Release more Rotors to replace some of the initial Rotors that would have reached their lifespan. By A: They could either keep track of the number of working Rotors Globally (but I dont know if that is possible or practical) then release an appropriate number Globally. B: They could just wait for a few weeks when they know some of the Rotors would have reached their lifespan then release 5-10 more Globally. Wait a few weeks and release some more. 5) Other parts on the Heli would also wear out over time so in order to keep your Heli flying you would need to periotically replace different parts. Some parts more common others rare. You would have to do a maintenance schedule on your Heli but eventually it would just become worn out over time and not worth the effort to keep it running. Maybe eventually the engine finally goes and is very hard to replace basically only being possible by pulling one from another Heli. This same system could be applied to all vehicles and parts and would be very realistic. It would also prevent some Players and Clans from hoarding all of the best vehicles or everyone having a Heli. This way the vehicles and parts would be circulating around all of the servers and everyone one would get a chance to sometime get a nice vehicle. It would open up trading and give Players and Clans a reason to travel to other servers to acquire replacement parts. The parts and vehicles would also stay rare like they should. -

Presentation of the EXTERMINATION server: EXTERMINATION is a server which takes place on the small map of Utes which was present on Arma 2. We are a pvp based server with a maximum group size of 5 players in 1PP. EXTERMINATION is a server hosted in EU on the PC platform What we currently offer on the server: - Two pvp events: Airdrop every 30 minutes KOTH every 15 minutes - A trader system: Expansion trader with Backmarket and Safezone A system of personal and clan bank accounts - A customized loot system: Sniper and Armor can be looted only in the events The loot in the buildings and grounds is based on the items that can be bought in safezone - A limited group system: The groups are currently blocked to 5 players maximum and we will make sure that this is respected. - A list of custom weapons and armors: APES Weapons Revgun CPBWeapons Arma Weapon Pack Equipment System - A dogtag system: When you kill someone you can take their dogtag and sell it for a high price on the black market. Hey guys, I want to know what kind of vehicles that the community wants in the game. suggestions about vehicles, conditions and a easy way to get a house

1-scavenge parts from wrecked vehicles with tools, screwdriver, Lug wrench etc.. to repair your own, not finding it on warehouses. 2-Make a house of your own, from the world, not a city one, lock it, block the windows with plywood, use the refrigerator or cupboard to store food and items, hearth like a fire source etc... Sounds more post apocalyptic than build alone a complex house, theres a lot out there, just take it and make it yours. U need a lock and a key. No traders or safe zones will be needed! 3-Blind or reduce vision throwing sand or dirt. 4-Deaf or reduce hearing by shooting without protection. Sorry about my basic english 5-(NEW) wardrobe like a container with lot of clothes of all kinds! hats, boots, t shirts, etc... Why only a pair of pants or a t shirt per house! -
