I know,ya'll want cars and stuff like that,but in my opinion that will ruin the game,... Why? Well,i love to run around the map,explore,go hunt and do stuff like that,imagine how will berezino and other "war places" look like once they add choppers and airplanes,..i mean,that will be the mess... And there will be no more fun wasting time on running all the way to North-west airfield,no more fun running around all day...i mean,it will all be gone... Hello. I don't know if you still need it, but I answered a similar problem some time ago in this same forum. Read this (h t t p s ://forums.dayz.com/topic/252172-dedicated-server-hosting-requirements/?do=findComment&comment=2478554) In case my personal suggestion is: Fewer cores but more GFlops possible (because not always the only frequency is synonymous with a powerful processor). You have to look for the highest computing capacity per single core and it will surely be the best processor ... then, maybe, it also goes to luck, because I've also heard people who DayZ works on multiple cores ... maybe it's one of the many bugs of the game, but from what I've more read and tried, it seems to work mainly on a single core, and the more "powerful" it is the better for the fluidity of the game and the vehicles mainly. 😉 P.S. Vehicles will one day be implemented into DayZ. As far as physics, how would you like to see them implemented? By this I am questioning how your idea of vehicle physics will affect gameplay/functionality. Personally, though it will likely never happen due to engine limitations, since DayZ is going for realism, I'd love to see physics along the lines of BeamNG. Physics such as these would encourage players to drive carefully, and feel the consequences of the smallest mistake. It'd also be interesting to see a mangled car with bodies inside at the bottom of a cliff. However, probably due to engine limitations and copyright problems and all kinds of other things, it would never work. EDIT: Then again, BeamNG only slows when there's a lot of cars. In DayZ, multiple cars is a rarity, so hey, it might not be too far-fetched. But I can dream. How advanced/simple would you like the vehicle physics to be?
