We were refuelling a redneck convoy (ATV, Tractor, Hilux) at the gas stop near Solnichny, when a chap called Liam happened upon us. He had nothing so we took out a spare AK Kobra with a few mags, dropped it on the floor and moved the vehicles away, leaving him with a gun and a friendly bit of cheer. That said, near the same spot just now I took a guy off an ATV who unluckily drove within 50m of our group at night, purely by chance (off the road!)

Is this a legit weapon? Ended up raiding camps in the north today and found 4 Vehicles, a truck, uav, bycicle and a blue minivan. Found a m4a1 m202 wich is an m4 with grenade launcher. Ontop of that there was a FN FAL with nightvision. Are these legit or not? Thanks in advance for the replies

Ok so I was in my truck with a friend driving up towards the NW airstrip when I crash and break a wheel and so we get out, we notice that some guy called mirabau keeps enclosing on us from miles away and have no idea how he keeps doing it. Anyways so i see him with my sniper and then all of a sudden i get killed, no gun shot no nothing, just dead. Then the server starts going crazy, i cant get back on and i was killed about 20-30 times in a row just waiting on character to create. ... Then i see in chat that everyone is saying they are getting vehicles spawning in front of them (tanks and helicopters and shit like that), while im still getting killed before i can spawn, my friend says he got a helicoper spawn in front of him and a message saying it was from someone called mr.medic or something like that... then he gets killed via commands and now no one can get on the server. This is fucking rediculous...

Admins don't have a special vehicle locator tool that I have heard of. Are helicopters active on this server? They can see vehicles on radar quite easily. In addition, I think that people in this mod over estimate the effectiveness of their hiding places.

I dont remember what server it was, think it was TX9 or something. Vehicles were: Blue minivan, white pick-up truck, uav and a big blue truck. With alot of tents in the big truck and tents scattered around, also down the to the west were alot of bycicles and a broken motercycle.

Alright, alright guys. Settle down. I opened up this thread just for a little investigation. Yes, the save system is "wonky" as mentioned, but we hit the "Save" feature every single time the engine turns off, and let's not forget the car automatically (allegedly claimed by devs) saves itself when it takes damage, the passengers unload, etc. We've found bicycles, motorcycles, and a car before in different servers and they do manage to stay wherever we leave them. I'm just concerned to know why when we came back a few hours later, about 3, the server was locked and probably had been for a while and once we monitored it until being unlocked, the car just happened to be gone.. Did the server reset? Even if it did I thought the patch always puts the car back in such event. SO like I said, I just wanted to open up this thread, raise some awareness as we've seen so far, and see what's really going on. C'mon. When we were playing this morning, there was only 7 people playing, including the 2 of us. (My friend's IGN is Neuromancer) Correct me if I'm wrong, but hypothetically, wouldn't it be impossible for such few people to stumble upon a hidden vehicle located in an area of land that is NOT near or between two towns, settlements, landmarks, locations.. etc. Especially since they were completely unaware the vehicle even existed? I thought it would be. We drove it straight into the woods, just as we always do, in a remote, untraveled area. I mean, no person would travel there to get to ANY location, it would just be inconvenient. I just wanna know why the car's gone and why the server happened to lock the moments before it actually disappeared.. is all I'm asking. I'm not exactly accusing, but there had to have been SOME kind of foul play.. I currently don't have access to the raw footage, but I think most would agree (once it's up) that this location was nearly impossible to get to unless someone absolutely knew to go there. Any form of travel through this area to get somewhere is just wildly inconvenient. TL;DR Odds are incredibly low of finding vehicle through any convenient route. Car was saved constantly and repeatedly. Server locked prior to the vehicles disappearance; strange.?

In order - I had 8200 blood was 1 hit KOed and DIED. Nothing I could do. Has to be fixed - Vehicels should NOT be rare. They dont break the balance. Its exactly the opposite - vehicles give the way to EXPLORE. Isnt what this game is about? To explore. I dont want to play with a buddy. Right now clans and admins are cheating and have a total control of all the vehicles. Has to be fixed - So make sidechat on regular servers, NO SC on veteran. Whats the problem? I dont want to use teamspeak. The less software the better. - There is to few loot. Small towns have no loot spawn at all. Has to be fixed - Bleeding is procing TOO oft.

Hello, I am looking for a bandit group in europe. I recently started playing this game, but I am bored of being solobandit, its hard to survive in the city when you are alone. I am 23 years old and from Denmark and I play a lot. Formerly high rated wow player and been playing fps games since I was 10. I died earlier today so my character is fresh. Got microphone and prefer using skype, ventrilo, teamspeak and mumble. I need a group of ruthless bandits, killing anyone that isn't in the group. (if unarmed players i'd like to play abit around with them first or axing them down etc). preferably 18+ in age, or atleast mature players. I don't really care if you guys have a camp, vehicles or good weapons. Sorry for the bad grammar and what not =)

You forgot to add: - 1 hit KO and death from a zombie with 8999 blood. - NO VEHICLES ON ANY MAP. Why? Admins and clans hoarded all the vehicles, storing the of maps so that NEW ones dont spawn - BRING BACK THE SIDE CHAT. - I am ok with no weapons, but WHERE IS ALL THE LOOT? Barns, factories have NO weapons. - 1 hit bleeding. From every zombies. Yes, its realism! - many more.

I found a campsite on my server today that had a large number of vehicles, tents and constructions. I saw rare guns, and guns I'd never seen before, so I put what I could into my vehicle and escaped as fast as I could. When I got to a safe area, I checked and discovered that some of the weapons I took were not listed on the wiki, and I believe they were created through an exploit or hack. My question is, what are players supposed to do with items that are legitimately found, but should not be in the game? I assume destroy them or drop them somewhere they will despawn right?

I'd say it's reasonable to take a legit weapon, but I think I'd rather destroy their whole camp, than gaining an advantage from using their weapons. Using illegit weapons on the other hand, I don't see a difference between spawning them and picking up someone else's hacked weapon. Especially when you should know better. So vehicles disappear after every restart? There's no point in fixing them up then? We fixed up a truck we found for 2 hours, and just as we got it running the server restarted and it was gone. Fucking lame. Vehicles should be 100% operational not broken.

server only appears as a red X atm.. havent checked vehicles yet, they despawned for us a while ago and suddenly came back after a restart along with several tents

So, I watched this video of a nuke being fired from the "Arma2, in all it's glory" thread: And it gave me an idea. Suppose the Zed continuously spawn all over the map. When their population reaches a certain number (say, 3000 for example) Chernarus is selected for a tactical nuclear strike to neutralize the growing zombie threat on the island. A nuke is launched, and we all ooh and ahh at the mushroom cloud before everyone dies and the server is reset. Everyone spawns on the beach, and all previously acquired gear/tents/vehicles are vaporized and reset. The only way to stop the server from resetting is by keeping the zed population in check. This would at least give us a reason to work together and to shoot the zed. Ok, so don't crucify me here. It's just a suggestion. What do you all think?

To be honest with you, If someone were to kill me for one of my vehicles they would get some pretty nice stuff. So I guess it really comes down to what caliber of person is driving the vehicle.

Server restarts do not normally wipe 4 tents at the same time(they can wipe 1 or 2 but not all 4 permanently) and they certainly do not wipe vehicles especially this many vehicles. This is something else.

Seattle 29 used to be the home of me and many of my friends. We had a base with 2 atvs, 2 tractors, 4 tents and a pick up truck. Along with various supplies. We logged in today to find the base entirely gone. Not just all the vehicles stolen and tents flattented, everything was just gone. I don't know what caused this but I would like the issue resolved. I am 100% sure it was not an act of someone taking our stuff because the tents are not flattened they are entirely gone. Bump I would like some action taken or an explanation given. I am sorry I can't give a good screenshot but honestly what would it be of? Everything is gone.

My friend Logan and I went out to attempt to find Devil's Castle last night. Ended up reaching the furthest NW part of the map. Within the woods we found a dirtbike! Our first vehicle :D I drove as we was on my backseat and we came to a hault as the gas was empty. After scurrying through the woods even more...we found a Tractor and an ATV. Both with Half empty/full gas tanks!!! We made our way back home with these vehicles and eventually had to ditch them. Great adventure night

Go fuck yourself because your just as entitled a piece of shit. You write server admin as your signature and then say noone should have any of their problems dealt with. You little piece of shit you should shut your mouth if you have nothing useful to say. Here are the facts child: 1:We were attracted to the admins camp because they thought it wise to fire off with two machine guns an M249 and an Mk48 mod 0 both of which are loud and out of place when traveling through woods looking for vehicle stashes and camps. 2: My 2 remaining friends at the camp (I died in the firefight) destroyed their vehicles and took what guns they wanted and destroyed the rest, driving over their 40+ tents stacked inside of each other there by rustling their jimmies even more. 3: I spawned at Electro I started running east to Berezino and my two friends left at the camp started running to Berezino to link up with me again. 4: My two friends reached Berezino 10 minutes before I did and came under fire from a single person which was Lefty, he was swiftly shot dead by them. 5: 15 minutes later we received a message saying our regular server was back up and working from earlier host issues, so we proceeded to meet up at the docks in Berezino and logged out with no one in the area shooting at us and no one we ourselves were shooting at. 6: (and this is just a guess) Admins returned to see their camp destroyed instead of just looted and no vehicles left, Jimmies got rustled and they decided to ban with no proof of any pvp disconnecting, and as i understand it its not me or my friends who have to prove our innocence its the admins who must provide proof to this to legitimately hold up this ban else risk blacklisting due to admin abuse. Dear Gandhi, I'm actually the one who set that MOTD and I don't feel wrong about it. Why? It's only words. We never did anything like that and we'll never do (actually, we cannot even do it.). If people are coming with their clans on our server, they'll think twice before leaving the gaming area with their vehicles. People trolling cities with wires and traps, just the same way... you can compare that MOTD to a beware dog sign when you just have a kittie. I have to thank you Gandhi, you prove us that our MOTD is just working fine. I've also had vehicles randomly having their inventories wiped. Also had a Landrover replaced with a UAZ in the exact same location but the inventory was emptied. Sometimes vehicles are fully repaired for no explicable reason. As to finding vehicles, I'll go to stash a vehicle in the bush and find two new ones. Go stash those. Lose the first one, etc, etc. I have more vehicles than I feel like dealing with right now. Look in the thick woods. I don't know, I just seem to be lucky. I only stash them on the map, lose them as fast as I find them. I agree that they shouldn't be allowed off the map although I sometimes drive along the edge of the map.

I'm the owner of seattle 102 and I never locked the server. I'm still new at the game and being an admin, but I'm not dumb enough to break the T&C and lock the server. If this happened last night, it's probably because I was messing with the automated server restarts, and was trying to figure out how to ban a player after he was caught logging to avoid getting killed. Also, my friends and I are fairly new to the game and we don't even have access to any vehicles. So sorry to burst your bubble, but I wasn't abusing my admin rights. Also, I did stop the server this morning to change the MOTD, to let the players know that they will be banned if they get caught logging to avoid death.
