US328 Teleporting Hacker Group Camping Hacked SUV in Chern

Bumping this up because I was just on this server, had repaired a helicopter, and encountered this same teleporting hacker group. We got teleported mid-flight to the middle of Cherno along with what I am assuming was every single other vehicle on the map. We got out of the chopper in Cherno and after killing a hacker that tried to jump into the chopper we had repaired all the vehicles got teleported to Elecktro (we know this because one of our teammates was there). I was recording the entire time I was in this server and I will upload a video tonight. -

Try resetting the server, although that would also destroy any other tents and vehicles on the server. -

Hi guys Once again with a lame question I was just wondering how to get a fresh Map to start on With no tents or saved vehicles starting fresh.. I have found that back on the 27/08 Some one by the name of "Jhavidian" Spawned in over "50 "TentStorage" 431:405 [13565,3304,51]" and "50 Sandbag1_DZ" 431:447 [13560,3317,53]" and has placed them all over the place and each time i do a restart they are still their ... so is it possible to get rid of them ? "I'm not going to make the mistake of releasing a patch before it is ready." That's funny because you've managed to screw up the last 3 patches to varying degrees. We need a damn hotfix for vehicles and tents before anything else, you're just bleeding players right now because the game gets boring without them. I gave up playing about a week and a half ago, because since your piss-poor testing of patches results in at least one major fuckup per patch, it became too much. You established such an amazing mod, yet you totally fail to see the important bits of it that keep players HOOKED, once you start breaking them then you're no better than many other games.

I am on a yes and no on this... Especially because I FINALLY found a ghilliesuit..... On multiple points, yes the hive needs to be wiped, because of all the duplicated stuff, herded vehicles, etc. etc... But eventually it will just happen again and again and again. But it would make the game somewhat.. 'fair' again I guess.

Everyone want`s to stay alive ! But with a good tent going and some vehicles death does not really scare people enough in my opinion. What I am suggesting is a system where you as a survivor adapt and are able to learn skills the longer you stay alive. These skills or feats should not give you a any real advantage when you are forced to kill another player. I propose this: The longer you survive the more skills you learn, you adapt to the zombie apocalypse. We all know that as a player you also learn and adapt. You know where you are more often, your aim is getting better, you know the tricks of the zombie world. What to loot first, where you find items and so on. Remember, the feats I propose here are things you can`t improve in front of you computer. And will make people want to stay alive even more (getting more to loose). But still NOT give you to much of an edge against others. And I hope, will add a fun and rewarding addition to an already fun "game". *some confusion forced me to add this: after 50 (debatable) hours of online survival you recive 1 point, 1 point only. You can not just start of and eat alot of canned food and get "King of Cans". Sure you can log in eat alot of canned (stored in your tent) food and wait 50 hours to get 1 rank in King of cans, but then you might just aswell play. I used King of cans as an example only. King of cans: Ranks: 3 Description:You have collected, stacked, eaten and lived of cans for a long time, this becomes you`r speciality Rank 1: Cans of the same type will stack in your inventory and bag in stacks of 2. Rank 2: stack in 3. Rank 3: Your body has adapted to the "canned life" you gain 50% thirst reduction everytime you consume a canned food. Require: 1 free point for each rank, you have consumed 150 various cans as a survivor. Crossbow master: Ranks: 2 Description:The crossbow is you favorite weapon, you love the sneaky kills, the thrill of using an non-projectile weapon. You use this every day, study it, learn how to be more efficent. Rank 1: You can learn how to pile bolts. Bolts now stack in piles of 5. Rank 2: The crossbow is deadly when the bolt is comming from you`r bow, the crossbow does 25% more dmg in your capable hands. Require: 1 free point for each rank. Killed 50 zombies with a crossbow for rank 1. Killed 150 zombies for rank 2. Toughness: - Removed -> could give people an advantage in pvp. Backpacker: Ranks: 3 Description: You live out of you backpack, it`s your home. You learn how to pack better, stack more efficent and use the space you got. Rank 1: You gain 1 additional slot in your equipped backpack. Rank 2: You gain 1 additional slot in your equipped backpack. Rank 3: You gain 2 additional slot in your equipped backpack. (max 4 slots extra) Require: 1 free point for each rank. You must have had 20 different items in you backpack (?) Rank 3 also require that you have obtained the Alice Backpack. Driver: Ranks: 1 Description: Your experience in cherno have taught you that fuel can be risky to collect, so you learn how to drive more economic. Rank 1: When you drive you use 10% less fuel. Require: 1 free point for each rank. You have spent 10 hours of driving. Fitness: Ranks: 2 Description: First rule of Cherno... ? Cardio ? Rank 1: You can run at max speed for an additional 5 sec after everyone else will get tired. Rank 2: You regain a steady hand aiming down the iron sight faster, AND when you use a biclyle you gain 10% speed. Require: 1 free point for each rank. First aid: Ranks: 2 Description: You have learned first aid the hard way, but are getting more skilled at it as you go along. Rank 1: When you use bandage there is a x% amount chance that you can bleed for another 300 blood due to the fact you are not experienced in first aid, rank one will make you stop bleeding right away, and it will increase the speed that you using "bandage" by x amount% Rank 2: Blood transfusion become increasingly effective after choosing this feat, you gain 1000 blood points extra from a blood pack. (1 blood pack only restore 4000 blood when an unexperienced survivor tries to transfuse blood)Thanks to Lights Out Require: 1 free point for each rank. Rank 1: used bandage 10 times. Rank 2: After your first blood transfusion in rank 2 you will be able to heal 5000 and increasingly more to 12 000 Master hunter: Thanks to Lights Out Ranks: 2 Description: You have spend your fair ammount of time in the woods, hunting, gutting, making campfire. But you dont just do this for survival, you love it. Rank 1: Raw meat will stack in your inventory in stacks of 3. Cooked meat will however still require a whole slot. Rank 2: When you gut an animal you get 1-2 extra pices of raw meat, you can also choose to cook a 3 stack of meat making a "campfire feast" where 3 people can eat 3 "Charges" of 1600 blood. Require: 1 free point for each rank. Rank 1: killed and guttet 20 animals. Rank 2: Made 20 campfire and cooked meat on them "1 free point for each rank." ?? You will be able to obtain a maximum of 6 points (can be more but require would require ALOT of time). When you have survived 50 hours (online time) you will recive your first point. If you have spent this time doing as little as possible you will not be able to choose among some of the feats. None of the feats are "locked" I.E. you can choose at free will what you want, but in some of the feat trees you see that the highest rank often give you a better "edge" then the lower ranks. The minimum requirement must be filled. You can not call yourself a "crossbow" master without ever using a crossbow. The idea is to make dying worse, but not give people with the feats an edge in a firefight. (not to much). Toughness. *Removed since the perk was removed. Visual effects are always nice. That just came to my mind. It has been an awful long time since the last patch. It would be cool to save your gear in tents and vehicles as starters. It would be cool if your helicopter would save its location after the restart. It would be even cooler if the 2.4 tents/vehicles wouldn't dupe their gear on 2.5 servers. Anyway is there any pending update to look forward in the close future? Just saying... -

LOL, you're right! I totally didn't "play" this "game" for rElz. I do understand what Day Z is about. I was able to play with and around those principles. The game had gotten the better of me on a couple other occasions and quitting didn't cross my mind. I've simply had my fill for now and I told you where my breaking point was. Honestly, it's not the car stealing part that bothers me. It was that it was just as likely to have been teleported by a hacker or eaten by bugs that made me hit the wall. If I could know for a fact that my vehicle was stolen by player legimately, I would hunt that player down and reclaim what was mine. Plus, I knew where another vehicle was and I could have spent the time repairing it as well. The car stolen from me was already the second vehicle I had tried to repair. I already knew it wasn't worth fixing vehicles because they don't last for a number of reasons. You sir/mam are the unreal player. But you are a real jerk. Good day! -

Someone is full of assumptions, aren't they. This is an excellent server, with no lag at all. Tents work, vehicles spawn and aren't hoarded off map. If you prefer the normal lesser servers that sometimes go down permanently in a week or so, then be my guest. Enjoy very rarely seeing or obtaining vehicles, not having a properly functioning tent, not being able to shoot zombies or players due to lag, and don't forget about the hackers. But I see your point, if I was a hacker, I would not want to have to pay for a server, then be banned too. This is an excellent server, if you don't wish to pay for it, then simply don't. No need to be threatened by a server. -
Every weekend the same thing. I survive all week, walking/driving all the map on servers 5+ players everyday. Comes weekend, BAM! Killed by script kiddies. Now, go and try to report them on the forum. What do you get? People laughing of your ruin. Asking for video proof, saying that otherwise it didn't happen. You know why? So they can laugh harder at your disgrace on youtube. I went through a lot of cheat report posts and all of them had people making jokes. Is that our community, really? Everybody is waiting for the stand alone to come and save us all from peril, like a divine intervention to free us from the glitches, sploits and "hackers". Despite of my huge hope in this game, I'm a bit skeptical about all these promises. Personally I believe the stand alone will have much of the problems we are having now because people who play DayZ don't take hacking seriously enough. This weekend I was playing with a group of people and all of them had hacked weapons. Not the usual ones, the ones that are not in the game, like the thermal scoped sniper rifles and such. I saw people asking favor from hackers and praising them by their awesomeness in spawning ammo crates and vehicles. Just to be killed the next moment by them. Maybe the game is too difficult to the average player. Maybe they are just bored with the lack of updates/new stuff. But nothing justify the silence of the good part of the community. I know there are real players out there, who plays it because it's a challenge. I've met many online several times. But they are slowly giving up and I can understand them. Look the case of the DayZ stars Frankie and Sacriel. They can't record a session without being interrupted by "hackers". I don't know if someone agrees with me, but we should take some action against this filth that took our game. I made a promise to myself to report all hacker activity I can, and I pretend to record it on video as well, despite of it being an optional piece of information. I encourage people to do the same. Battleye is not handling so many scripters, but we can help get to them by policing ourselves.

This sever loads quickly, good ping, a great admin, lots of vehicles (more being add constantly and they save properly), and friendly people! If your looking for a good Lingor server this is it! After i personally searched for a good Lingor server this is the best possible server i could find! Lastly it is an awesome new server and is defiantly under rated with the amount of people playing on it! Go play on it!

At it's current state it's not worth it. Tents and vehicles don't save, hackers run rampant and there's a lot of graphical bugs. Oh yeah, and the gear duping thing sucks too. -
1.7.3 - Lets Wipe the Hive

I agree... Kind of. Alright, the only reason we should wipe is if all the duping is fixed. And I say we ONLY wipe all the tents and reset all the vehicles. Don't wipe players inventories, because it would really piss off players like me who play legitly an spend hours finding their as-50s and m4's. -
As far as I can tell all vehicles except one I know of save the position but not the content. Could be that there are a few more vehicles not saving positions. Server restarted, BEC was disabled and thus no scheduled restarts active. For the private Hive part, nothing I'm interested of at the moment (but it have crossed my mind on more that one occasion)

I have already posted this once, but it did not get as much attention as I think it deserved. And considering the amount of shit thats current on the forums of people bitching about thermal scopes and sniper rifles I thought this was important, so here it is, again. I have also edited a few bits of it aswel, so hopefully I dont get pinged for double posting :P Please take your time to read ALL of this before you comment: No special infected, this is not Left4Dead, and so on. DayZ is a zombie game yet the only time you'll ever be scared shitless is when you're getting shot at. Zombies are now only a nuisance. Now my idea includes "special" infected. No, not like the ones in Left4Dead, but just something simple, not overpowered, not playable, and not anything outside the concept of DayZ. And still keeping DayZ authentic. So, first the new DayZ map SHOULD be in Russia or the Ukrain, same region as Chernarus. No, I'm not russian but if the DayZ standalone map is in Russia it just keeps the authenticity in DayZ. Also, a map like Chernarus or something similar suits DayZ perfectly, for instance: It's city's arnt too large that it turns into a massive murder fest, and be able to find a gun anwhere. Or atleast a larger, much larger version of Chernarus, which I think Rocket and the team are already working on. Think about it, if your city has a shopping mall then chances are it will be in an industrial area i.e major city. DayZ is a game where it is more fitted to being out into the country, therefor making vehicles more useful and valuable. And ofcourse a large city wont be near any forests or out in the country. So you can hide any vehicles you've found in thick forests. Now onto the Horror/Special infected. There is nothing scary about the current DayZ map (Chernarus) simply because that map was designed for arma2, a war zone, not a zombie apocalypse. So my idea is that we could have a few parts of the map where there are grave yards or haunted locations. Now a few people would be thinking, how about green mountain? Yeah well theres nothing dramatic about it, except the fact it reads co-ordinates of deer stands. But if you had a medium-large thick, dark, foggy, forrest, and in the middle of it is a grave yard or some shit scary location then it would be scary as fuck to go in there. Now comes in the "special" infected. Once you enter the dark forrest, there is a rare chance you could encounter some sort of super kind of zombie. (With red eyes that glow in the dark maybe?) They could maybe have a little bit more heath than regurlars, not too much. No special attacks, such as vomiting on you from behind, or strangling you with their massive tongue from 50 meters away. But what features it could have is to be able to stalk you, it hides behind trees or cover as it follows you. And when you stop to eat or something it strikes. My other idea is that when it detects you, it screams, alerts every zombie in your location. Though, when you aggro a zombie, every zombie within 30-50 meters is also trying to rip your face off. But this would happen on a much larger scale. Ofcourse it's all up to the Devs, and what you, the community wants. Another idea is.. Hospitals! Some of the most scariest games are usually set in hospitals. DayZ should have much larger hospitals, making finding supplies a little harder, and more scary. Things to consider: Blood trails, zombie patients. Instead of just shooting a few panes of glass, or throwing bottles at them and then just grabbing a few supplies then leaving. You should have to check rooms for blood bags and other medical supplies. (found in draws & cupboards.) Rocket mentioned in a Rezzed session of a zombie life cycle, which is a zombie that is kind of human like, but gradually turns into a zombie. I was thinking that maybe it could be linked with the special infected, after the zombie has reached its end of the cycle it could turn into the "special" infected. Ofcourse you wont be able to see that many special inftected in the game, but it adds a twist to how they got there and what they will eventually all turn into. http://www.google.co...,r:10,s:0,i:104 Another idea, if these special inftected were introduced into DayZ, they would only spawn in scary locations e.i haunted castle, graveyard or dark misty/foggy woods. But we already have a system that records how many zombie kills, murders, and bandit kills on our debug moniter. If this special infected was introduced into DayZ it could also be recorded on the debug moniter, e.i Demon kills: 3. Ofcourse they wouldent be called demons but you get the point. Conclusion: Lastly, a few of you might be thinking, whats the point of having foggy, scary/haunted areas? Inside those haunted areas has a more likely chance of finding a helicopter crash site. But honestly wouldent you rather have a game where you have to crawl through dark, foggy woods, hiding from zombies with red glowing eyes. People would have to go through this shit everytime they want to find high grade weapons. Lets face it, people can just find a high powered rifle from a helicopter crash site after 5minutes of spawning. (Thats actually happened to me.) Now you have to take risks to find your beloved AS50, now you have to work for it, and search in scary, dangerous areas. Ofcouse not all helicopter crash sites will spawn in these areas, but you a more of a chance of finding one there than on a farm. And this is a better alternative to doing what everyone else suggests, which is to heavily reduce the spawn chance of sniper rifles or remove them completely. Please comment, and let me know what you think :D

Stupid Hackers Tped all vehicles to prigorodky and fucked up the whole server, why not just make this a private hive and put a pass on. that is a solution many uses to counter hackers.

i guess it is because you are playing version 1.7.2.5. it is a bug in this patch. most vehicles reset to their original position upon restart. if you like to keep them try playing on some 1.7.2.4 servers.

Hey. A group which I belong to were camping in northern Berenzino (we had three vehicles there), and they were gone after a restart. Right after the restart, we spawned in game and I heard a moped. I saw a guy with a ghillie suit riding a moped, which turned to be a red-orange Yamaha look-alike. Well, I shot him with my M4, and when I begun to loot his body, I found an AS50 TWS. I believe he was hacking, because the moped was fully repaired and full of fuel, right after a restart. The mod doesn't give you any objectives, so you have to make up some for yourself. It's only natural to try and control the whole server, "beat the game", and for that you have to beat all the other groups. That means finding their camps and stealing their vehicles and making them yours. Everyone is or would be a hoarder if they had a group. Except for the odd bicycle riding lone wolf. -
Honestly?.. I usually dont give a rats ass about vehicles, Bicycles FTW, but thats about it... The clan i'm currently in currently thinks vehicles are way more importen then fighting off a raiding squad/player, I do not like Vehicles :P

We'll have to see what the owners of DAYZ think. because i'm pretty damn sure you cannot get banned from using hacked weapons, it's frowned apon from the community. But i'm pretty sure the g36c sd camo is exactly the same as the m4a1 cco sd. but with a holo sight which i find better. Anyways. From rockets mouth. You cannot get banned from using hacked weapons or vehicles. I'm not going to post again. Because i'm sick of explaining myself to people who clearly just wants to be a nusiance to others.

My two friends and myself have been playing DayZ nearly everyday since May when we first started the game. We made camp on a server and stuck to it for months, and in all that time we came across maybe 1 vehicle every 3 weeks or longer. We were discouraged of the thought of ever obtaining vehicles of our own, so resorted to simply running across the map everywhere. Over the past month, however, we decided to try different servers after discovering the clan who ran the server had hackers among them. We also discovered that they were hoarding a good deal of the vehicles on the map which explained the abscence despite our best efforts of finding one. We hated the fact that they had accumluated so many vehicles, leaving the rest of us to suffer running for kilometers on end. We swore we would never become what they were. Now we've made camp on a new server, and through pretty much non stop playing the last couple days, have obtained the following: A bus motorcycle UAZ Military UAZ Civilian Ural Hatchback Huey A few hours ago we found a helicopter spawned next to the hospital in Cherno between the apartment complex. With just one of my friends, over the next hour and a half approximately we gathered the necessary supplies to repair it to flying condition, and made it back to camp. Looking down on all that we have accomplished, I realized that we have now become the capitalists that we hated from our previous home server, and I don't feel bad one damn bit. We worked hard, playing for hours on end, earning each vehicle that came our way, and we're not giving them up without a fight....or unless we get bored :P Has anyone else felt similar?

You do not need the toolbox for repairing vehicles. You just need the parts. The entrenching tool is useful in Arma2. You can use it to build a three sided foxhole that you can lay in. Would be nice if that was the case in DayZ. I suggested in another thread about hiding bodies that in order to hide a body you would need the entrenching tool. Other then removing tank traps, sandbags and barbwire ( toolbox needed but all things removed return at server restart so whats the point) ) I have yet to find much use for these tool items other then looking nice in your tool belt.

This was recorded on a Lingor Island public server, this is totally legit however there was some form of bug with the sky barrier over cities it appears.
