that just means you need to enable the expansions you are trying to play. You do that through arma 2 OA expansion tab at the main menu... If that doesn't help, list the type of server you are trying to join, type of mod your are playing, and the map.

im assuming you bought the game through steam? If so, when was the last time you ran both (through steam) arma 2 and arma 2 OA? and the DLCS PMC BAF.etc? Your fire wall could be an issue, rarely it ever is nowadays, but your antivirus could have had an update, make sure that you add (Battle Eye, Steam, Arma and any other programs you may want ) to your exclusions list. When you get to wait for host screen that can mean 2 things, either your arma 2 profile is trying to communicate with the BE client and cannot, or there are certain files that either get corrupted and or damaged but you said you already verified the game cache so it has to be your arma 2 "profile" not communicating with Battle Eye, which is why your able to join as far as Wait for Host. Running the games through steam every now and then, updates arma 2 and Battle Eyes registry through steam... which is why you cannot join a server, well.. you can join, but, cannot connect to lobby. Hope this helps

If you cannot cannot through dayz commander and or dayz launcher, try launching the game throught Arma 2 OA. If you do not know how to do that try these steps below -Make sure your patch and versions are the same as the server you are trying to connect to. -Open Arma 2 OA, at the main menu look for expansions, Look for the mod you are trying to play such as (Dayz, Epoch...etc) make sure it is enabled then make sure you click ok and a pop up window will appear and ask you to restart, just select restart. If this works, you can add -nosplash to your launcher command line and a few others, just type arma 2 launch parameters in google to find the rest of the commands... if you didnt already know...

Mainly we are a pvp unit, we love a good fight and Panthera is the best deathmatch type of map dayz has. We are currently trying to populate our server and we could use all the help we can get. We have a website where you can vote for certain types of conditions, vote for certain scripts, type of admin events, server is what you want it to be, that doesn't mean we give everyone everything they want, we just give the players a chance to give their opinions. This is no Pay-to-Win server, sometime down the road we may add donations for building supplies, but thats it. Personally, i think this is over hauled to the max. im sick of seeing footage's, clips, Public relations. I do not care if the game is in stick figure. Just release the Gdamn alpha. June, July, August. every month is a new month for them to say OOOOO we *MIGHT* release this month... What was the point of even saying that? They knew it wasn't gonna come out in June, or July yet we are passed the middle of August. No sign or sight of the alpha being released. I think their cash cow is gonna die before they even release the alpha, let alone the full game. I also think, they had better release the alpha, if not the full game before the new Consoles come out, and ESO. This is a perfect example of hype build up. Not to mention, how horrible it's all done. How many players are constantly refreshing steam, Gamecom, and other sites just to see a release date? Or to see the one site that managed to get information that alpha is out! That's pathetic. The dev team has no direction, Using words like Might, Maybe, Hopefully, *We intend*. Who the hell does that? i've never waited for a game like this before and never have been so frustrated over a release of a game. If you ever build a game in the future. Do it right, Give dates, meet those dates. i give kudos to the dev team for trying and their hardwork, that will not go unnoticed, Just stop talking out your ass's half the time.

Did we buy the game? no, but without us, Dayz would be nothing, u can't make a game if you don't have players to play it. so we did something much more then giving a few bucks, and every single person who played dayz or still plays, helped out the dev team and rocket, in more ways than just one. you can't be a star without fans. people need to get a grip, it's not even in alpha let alone beta, and you all are getting your panties all bunched up Rocket, needs to stop using words like maybe and possible and the phrase Theres a chance!. just stop Wow that just cleared the air on a shit ton of issues
