Dayz Epoch Panthera Server Promotion.TheBurntBush-Epoch Panthera Server IP 184.170.244.239:2302 The Burnt Bush clan has just started a Epoch Panthera server. The server is hosted byVilayer.com. We also have Teamspeak3, modified channels for clans, groups or solo players and a channel for beginners. The server is 100% playable but we are still in the process of adding more scripts. We are looking for players of all ages to join our server and hope you make our dayz server your home. Currently we are accepting applications for Moderators/Administrators. The application process is measured by knowledge, maturity and patients. The Burnt Bush Epoch Panthera server currently has these scripts listed below: 1.(Self Bloodbag)-modified script, less animation, more blood, less infection. 2.(Snap-Pro)-Modified script, 1 stage building (One animation). 3.(Slow-Zeds)-Modified script, Zombies are super slow, but they hit hard, 75% chance of infection. 4.(Zero-Weight)- Allows you not to become over burden by items in inventory. 5.(Trader-Safe-Zone) Apply's god mod when entering a trader city, guns are deactivated. 6.(Instant-Trade)-Modified script, Allows trades to be done with "Dropping Animation" 10x faster. 7.(InfiSTAR-Anti-Hack/Admin-Tools) Allows best possible anti hacker security and allows for custom designs and Superior service for players in-game. 8.(indestructableCinder) Cinder blocks cannot be destroyed, safe base.9.(DeployBike)- Turns tool box into a bike... 10.(PlotPole4Life)- no need to maintain your bases, copy, pack, alter and change the location of your base with a simple click of a button.11.(View-Distance)- Use binoculars or Rangefinders to increase your view distance up to 3k. 13.(Wicked-Ai/SargeAI), We have moderately easy to very hard random Patrolling missions. Band/Hero (currently customizing custom spawns/patrols with improved loot).14.(Macas Right Click Script), Toolbox, blood bags, radio, Binos/rangefinders... Addons that will be released in the next few weeks are listed below: (DoorManagment)- Eye scanner script, removes the combo locks and uses a eye scanner instead. (Militarized) Arma2 armed vehicles will be added to traders and exotic weapons. (Onstar-key) script, helps you locate a vehicle with key on map.(so if you kill someone and they have a key, look and see if its close by) and many many more to come. that just means you need to enable the expansions you are trying to play. You do that through arma 2 OA expansion tab at the main menu... If that doesn't help, list the type of server you are trying to join, type of mod your are playing, and the map.

im assuming you bought the game through steam? If so, when was the last time you ran both (through steam) arma 2 and arma 2 OA? and the DLCS PMC BAF.etc? Your fire wall could be an issue, rarely it ever is nowadays, but your antivirus could have had an update, make sure that you add (Battle Eye, Steam, Arma and any other programs you may want ) to your exclusions list. When you get to wait for host screen that can mean 2 things, either your arma 2 profile is trying to communicate with the BE client and cannot, or there are certain files that either get corrupted and or damaged but you said you already verified the game cache so it has to be your arma 2 "profile" not communicating with Battle Eye, which is why your able to join as far as Wait for Host. Running the games through steam every now and then, updates arma 2 and Battle Eyes registry through steam... which is why you cannot join a server, well.. you can join, but, cannot connect to lobby. If you cannot cannot through dayz commander and or dayz launcher, try launching the game throught Arma 2 OA. If you do not know how to do that try these steps below -Make sure your patch and versions are the same as the server you are trying to connect to. -Open Arma 2 OA, at the main menu look for expansions, Look for the mod you are trying to play such as (Dayz, Epoch...etc) make sure it is enabled then make sure you click ok and a pop up window will appear and ask you to restart, just select restart. If this works, you can add -nosplash to your launcher command line and a few others, just type arma 2 launch parameters in google to find the rest of the commands... if you didnt already know...

Happy 3 day weekend everyone, we still need alot of help populating our server, we are looking for groups who will migrate to our server, we offer supply packages for groups/solo regular players. please be patient. bump. We are looking for groups players and solo players that like Pvp and surviving, We love to get into it from time to time. Mainly we are a pvp unit, we love a good fight and Panthera is the best deathmatch type of map dayz has. We are currently trying to populate our server and we could use all the help we can get. We have a website where you can vote for certain types of conditions, vote for certain scripts, type of admin events, server is what you want it to be, that doesn't mean we give everyone everything they want, we just give the players a chance to give their opinions. This is no Pay-to-Win server, sometime down the road we may add donations for building supplies, but thats it. Join our server, check in from time to time and play with us (sounds really messed up) but w/e. Have a good one!

If you have any questions about Vilayer server ask me, i just literally like 13 mins ago just set up my epoch panthera server with loads of scripts, so its all fresh in my mind so ask me if you need with anything regarding Vilayer, don't ask me about any other server host because i wont know shit about them.

For people who just bought the game through steam, Please read what i'am about to tell you. Steam and arma have a weird relationship, with that being said, You do not use steam to install and or launch dayz. The only time you would use steam, is to update the game from steams servers from time to time. To correctly play arma/dayz you would need a Launcher called either Play Withsix(arma2) or Dayz Commander(Dayz). With those two piece of software, not only can you install newer/older versions of beta patches, you can also download and install the game's/map's. In order for your dayz commander and or Play Withsix, you need to have the correct boxes checked, such as: Direct3d, Close Dayz commander when joining a server. Then, in the startup launch parameter box you have to type "-nosplash" "-winxp" "-maxmem=2047" "-world=empty" "-cpucount=(# of cores you have). make sure no other boxes with steam are checked. The times you would use steam is when files have either been deleted,corrupted missing cd-key, wrong key, any many other issues can be solved by opening steam, selecting arma 2, select properties, select local file tab, then select verify system game cache. Do that to all arma 2 games in your library, once completed, right click arma 2, select play. Go to the main menu, then exit. Do the same to all arma 2 related games in your library, once that is done, you open dayz commander or with six and update/downgrade your dayz/arma games as needed.

Personally, i think this is over hauled to the max. im sick of seeing footage's, clips, Public relations. I do not care if the game is in stick figure. Just release the Gdamn alpha. June, July, August. every month is a new month for them to say OOOOO we *MIGHT* release this month... What was the point of even saying that? They knew it wasn't gonna come out in June, or July yet we are passed the middle of August. No sign or sight of the alpha being released. I think their cash cow is gonna die before they even release the alpha, let alone the full game. I also think, they had better release the alpha, if not the full game before the new Consoles come out, and ESO. This is a perfect example of hype build up. Not to mention, how horrible it's all done. How many players are constantly refreshing steam, Gamecom, and other sites just to see a release date? Or to see the one site that managed to get information that alpha is out! That's pathetic. The dev team has no direction, Using words like Might, Maybe, Hopefully, *We intend*. Who the hell does that? i've never waited for a game like this before and never have been so frustrated over a release of a game. If you ever build a game in the future. Do it right, Give dates, meet those dates. i give kudos to the dev team for trying and their hardwork, that will not go unnoticed, Just stop talking out your ass's half the time.

Did we buy the game? no, but without us, Dayz would be nothing, u can't make a game if you don't have players to play it. so we did something much more then giving a few bucks, and every single person who played dayz or still plays, helped out the dev team and rocket, in more ways than just one. you can't be a star without fans. people need to get a grip, it's not even in alpha let alone beta, and you all are getting your panties all bunched up Rocket, needs to stop using words like maybe and possible and the phrase Theres a chance!. just stop Wow that just cleared the air on a shit ton of issues

This thread is meant for people who have doubts about SSD and arma 2/dayz. I'm going to tell you why SSD benefit arma 2/Dayz and how they do so. Please read with an open mind. SSD are known for their Fast Boot time and their ability to decrease the time needed to boot system files. I'm going to tell you how they do that. First when you power on your computer, your computer goes through a Phase called P.O.S.T, Once the POST processes finishes not only is it faster but once windows files are being uploaded, it's much faster than a standard 7200rpm HDD. The reason why SSD is faster than a 7200rpm HDD is because a SSD index'es 3 times faster than the standard 7200rpm HDD. The reason a SSD gives faster loadup times is Purely because of how fast it index's the system files through the P.O.S.T Process. Now, the reason the computer starts up faster is because of how fast the SSD can index the windows files thus startup to desktop is faster. Because it indexes 3 times faster than a standard 7200rpm. PBO files are files that contain images that have to be indexed by the HDD. If you have all Arma 2 games OA/BAF/PMC(even if you don't, server might)...etc dayz becomes a lot heavier, especially on private hive servers. because of all the Random ass items admins put in their servers, even dedicated servers, its to much. Now Look it up if you want to because i forgot the amount but see how fast a 7200rpm can read/write 500 Files. because a standard intel ssd can read/write 520/500 a sec. Dayz has over 500PBO files that have to be indexed by the HDD, do you really think a 7200rpm can handle that for more than 2 mins let alone 2 hrs? 2 young men are Cpu and GPU Old man is HDD Strong man is SSD Example: U got 2 young Healthy athletic men and 1 really old man. imagine the old man carrying the heaviest load. from one side of the yard to the other, how much work do you think the young men are gonna get done? that fps drop isn't because of your 2 healthy young men, its because the old man isn't moving the load fast enough (now replace the old man with a strong man) what happens? until the old man is replaced, work stay slow thus processor bottle necks, then gpu bottle necks the cpu, then its a waiting game for all 3, I hope this sheds some light on the topic Edit: Processor and GPU are highly needed. For speeds of processor should be no less than 3.0ghz(intel) 3.3/3.5(AMD) and for gpu(nvidia) GTX 4 series and up (radeon) hd 7 series and up. 6-8gigs of RAM(but more ram i notice helps a little i had 32 and took out 8 and i lost about 13fps over all) I'm not hatein on AMD facts are facts.

if u buy the game get it from steam and download dayz by dayz commander and use steam to update the beta patches and battle eye, not only is it the easiest way, but its more stable and game runs better.

Ok, but are you the majority, how many people do you think that play arma 2 or even asking what specs are good enough to play a online game, how good do you think their computers are??? yes, u can OC the S**T out of your computers because YOU know what YOUR doing. a shit load of people on these forums don't even know how to change a CPU let alone install there own OS. i see tons of people telling other people to download Overclocking programs without even getting information on the other person's computer to see if it can even handle over clocking. IM merely just stating a "Silly" comment that most users should not OC their computers parts and for arma 2 that is "silly" because it doesn't fing need it. If you know enough about your pc to OC it then you "should" ignore this because it does not apply to you.

The main problem that comes to my mind when people are buying new computers, what are you looking for your computer to do? Do you want just RAW power for max FPS possible?, or do you want a higher quality, well balanced. or even a computer that can just play most games with decent FPS, not a monster but a gremlin. its all up to you. If you want a PC ment for DAYZ, well i hate to tell this to you all but when dayz standalone comes out, this is gonna be the Past. this crap with "Can my computer run it" wont be in Standalone, If your going to buy a PC because ur want a good gaming PC then go for it, Get the biggest mother fer there* Now if your getting a custom built pc JUST FOR DAYZ, then Please, PLEASE! just wait till dayz standalone come outs, then make up your mind. Because i would hate it, if someone took someone else advice and bought a computer that he really didn't need/want but really wanted to play dayz at decent fps, just to find out that standalone wont have any issues as far as processor and GPU and HDD goes, and his old computer could play it just fine. Please be cautious. think about it.

go into your arma 2 OA folder, look for a folder called _DZC_CACHE, open that and look for the map overwatch, delete it and try again.

Don't overclock for arma 2, that's just stupid. Burn out your Hardware 50%faster. Arma 2 doesn't need to be OC'd especially with the rig u fing have. to over clock arma means almost certain death for your PC's parts. Arma 2 requires atleast 3.1ghz (processor), a gtx series 4 and up, and a SSD for the Arma 2 PBO file indexing. That's it. u do NOT need to overclock at all. plus if you overclock for +3 fps, then holy god damn hell, i feel extremely sorry for your computer.

first of all you do not launch the gdamn game from steam. 2nd your dayz commander looks like its not updated with the current Netframe Work Dll's, im sure that has an issues, but aside from that, you setting sin your dayz commander are wrong, you launching the game from steam is wrong. Let me look through my threads and see if i can find one that relates to this issues... nvm im just gonna make a gdamn video
