Hi all, been a while since I've posted, I'm not dead :D So, I found my first hunting backpack in .59 .. I haven't seen this thing in months. Was curious how rare it is nowadays? I was convinced they removed it from the game entirely until I came across it today. Found it in the most random place too; inside a small shed in Staroye. Could anyone shed light on how rare the hunting backpack is in .59, & also tell me where it typically spawns? I can't help but think someone left it where I found it. but I mean, hunting backpack... Who the fuck would drop this thing.

I'm personally content with the city to woodland ratio in the game's current state. & I have faith in the dev team & their vision. I wouldn't be too concerned about it really. B) -
Do research. Plenty of topics that already mirror yours. The goal is to do whatever you want. It's a sandbox game despite being zombie-survival themed. Ultimately, as anyone will tell you, it's alpha. You're accessing all content in such a quick & leisurely manner for the sake of development speed. When the game is finished, you'll die more times than you can fathom before you reach "end game". In the games current state, be creative. Go hunting, fishing, commit robberies, roleplay, start a small community, explore, etc. My latest idea is to get together with my clan mates, all dressed in firefighters gear, equipped only with firefighter axes & fire extinguishers, & roam Chernarus in multiple V3S's, blaring the sound of a fire engine siren through direct chat, in search of all campfires that we will deem a fire hazard beyond reasonable doubt, where we will proceed to put out said campfire to ensure that the good people of Chernarus remain safe by any means. We will stop for no one.

Are servers still being wiped every Wednesday?

Hmm.. Strange that they would do that. Maybe they're just far rarer now? I imagine since this being the first iteration of the central loot economy, that would play a roll in it as well. Although I did feel that they were far too common in .54 .. They should definitely be rarer. :)

Yup, I feel confident in saying the issue lies within your graphics card. The long term fix would be to upgrade you GPU, but I understand not everyone can shell out money whenever they please. So I would try playing with your graphics settings. Turn them down & make things less intensive on your GPU. Maybe try cleaning your GPU the best that you can as well. I'm not too keen on what graphical settings are more intensive than others, but I've read that shadows & clouds can do a number on performance. I would try putting both shadows & clouds on 'low' for starters then work from there. You can poke around in troubleshooting as well, you'll find plenty of information there. Use the search function. ;) Ultimately, it's your GPU. So at least you know which component to address.

What graphics card are you using? I had the same issue on a GTX 580. Was due to overheating as it was outdated.
