I think they said previously they can't get crossplay done due to limitations and requirements of each version (PC/Xbox/PS), so we might have to just wait to see if that happens in a sequel game. Reforger already has crossplay AND has console mods - so it's not like Bohemia is saying no on DayZ just to be mean. 1.23 will also apparently have new options for console server owners (like spawning with gear for PVP servers etc) so that part of your suggestion is happening 🙂

Maybe a compromise could be being able to raise the run to blind-fire over cover - Tarkov has that feature! For shooting behind I'd say just quickly spinning around and hip-firing a couple would work just the same 😉
-
Tourniquets just got added to Reforger as a quick apply method to limit bleeding until you have time to bandage. Maybe that on top of a rarer suture kit with many uses would fit quite well as an expanded medical system!

Yep it's just muscle memory of running in at an angle that lets you tap F at the right time!

Maybe worth people collating new sets of frequently asked questions that people can't get answers for on offical FAQs or community ones. A lot of informative videos are out there but I know a lot of people prefer to just read what to do. Wiki could probably do with a refresh on this topic to get people onboarded faster.

There are multiple standalone modders who now work at Bohemia - and Adam himself started off as a modder for Arma and DayZ mod.

They don't have a bipod system in this game. Even when the ATLAS bipod was in in Alpha it didn't really do much, deployed or not. That's why it doesn't spawn anymore nor do any weapons take it - if they ever decide to work further on deploying weapons for firing stability we may see it return!

Here's a fantastic read from the R. Kansas detective series - a definitely-totally-serious world-famous mystery tale about a very certain train 😁 (please don't hate me @Arkensor i love you)

Update 1.22 Xbox Experimental (Change Log)
Lasyen replied to Kyiara's topic in Xbox Experimental Updates
Just a separated section on the main menu for Livonia DLC to be, it was previously sharing the Mods space in the interface 🙂 -
Nice researching to see if there is a platform difference! So the remainder of this thread literally could have just been: wow that sucks please make unjamming on console a continuous hold action instead of a full-length action It's that easy guys ✨There was 100% no need to play the blame game.

it is, its the epoxy putty you need.
-
Playstation doesnt have experimental test servers - they only have the stable ones, so changes will be coming to playstation upon full stable release for 1.21.
-
yeah when crouched im noticing this first one. Second one it's the Epoxy Putty you need to repair it - I made an error on the wiki. Third one Adam said on the experimental stream the patch on thursday was work in progress and they didnt get bolts recoverable on bodies just yet - they said it the intention is to be able to get them from bodies in a later experimental 1.21 patch before stable release.
-
they've said in the past they want to get it back in on a stream, but they can't confirm it will be coming. Its a lot of work involving animations and rewriting code that they are best spending time in other areas that really need people working. I think 1.20 is a good example that they're fighting with a lot of backend technical work, and bows don't really seem like a priority to readd right now when vehicles are not where they need to be, handstate bug, desyncing issues, server issues, the list goes on. As a team for a 10-year old project, they know from experience confirming things to the community then not being able to get that confirmed thing in for years goes against them, so their best option is to hear but not share where things are at unless it's genuinely coming in an update. That's why they haven't said anything about bows.

they acknowledged on stream yesterday that theyve identified multiple issues and they're still working on it, but currently nothing to comment on at this time
