Zetal 90 Posted October 16, 2012 This poll is such a silly farce. Anyone could know that 3DP would win. Its a crutch that many players are addicted to because they don't know any better. Turning headbob off solves the nausea. Alt-look solves situational awareness. There are no excuses except ignorance or abuse. Did I miss anything?
enforcer1975 1111 Posted October 16, 2012 I get the feeling Rocket is the kind of guy who would rather rewrite the melee system to make it feel like a solid gameplay feature than "quick fix" it and leave it still a bit meh.Hope dies last but with the given time i doubt he will be able to make it and the engine might limit him to animations only because as stated in other threads ArmA 2 wasn't developed with melee in mind. This poll is such a silly farce. Anyone could know that 3DP would win. Its a crutch that many players are addicted to because they don't know any better. Turning headbob off solves the nausea. Alt-look solves situational awareness. There are no excuses except ignorance or abuse. Did I miss anything?Yes and that's why people don't like 1st person...someone funny because in every shooter you get the thrill because you never know what might lie behind the next corner...Nausea is also caused by headbob but some also experience some even with headbob turned off. After 2 hours of playing especially with TrackIR it gets to you slowly, the cause is because not only is your head somewhat bad to move but you can't move your eyes like IRL to compensate the movement I wonder if i used the Sony personal 2d viewer if it would change...but that thing is just too expensive ( 1000€ in Germany compared to max. 800$ in the States ) for me just to play ArmA 2 with it and it only has 720p. mr_chabowski@live.co.uk 2416 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) Turning headbob off solves the nausea. No it doesn't.Alt-look solves situational awareness.No. It doesn't.Did I miss anything?A lot of school?EDIT:Don't presume that just because something doesn't affect you, that it's somehow an imaginary problem. It's not just headbob that causes nausea. Among many other things, perceived movement of the character on screen changes per person depending on size and resolution of the monitor.Unless you are "Dr. Zetal - Vestibulo-ocular reflex specialist", you don't know what you're talking about.PokieBumWank @ u Edited October 17, 2012 by Chabowski
