Chernarus Snowy

So, I was thinking how cool and amazing would it be if Chernarus was to be filled up with snow. I read in an article that there will

be a new weather system for the mod DayZ. Most likely to be seen during the standalone, But i was just wondering how cool

would it be if the map got snowy to the point where we could leave foot prints behind and stuff like that. (Of course able to cover them)

Special Player models that blend w/ snow just like the ghilli blends w/ the forest scene.

I have a feeling we might just see snow :) Maybe not near cherno/elek but somewere else in the map maybe by the nw airfield.

Having it be snowy in the north would be a great way to make it more dangerous (with footprints). Having the ability to track players would be amazing. It just seems like if you are not in the big coastal cities, or Stary/NWAF, its too safe.

It would be funny if the server is, like the actual ingame time also linked to the local weather of where this server is holding up.

Snow and winter would be a bitch though. People will hoard them heatpacks.

I hope so, i cant help but feel that Chernarus in dayz standalone is gonna be exactly the same ( with more open buildings), which, is gonna be boring and get old fast...

Having snow would change it up, plus the effects would be awesome.

...only for people screaming for more and new stuff over and over again. Those people get ALWAYS bored, no matter how much and fast you add new things to the game ... until it´s totaly broken and overloaded with crap noone uses or needs - we´ve seen that progress in many games before.

Chernarus is such a great and huge map! You can have fun for months or years here in it´s current state, you just need a little bit crativity.

But I agree, a snowy Chernarus (or seasons al all) would create a great atmosphere.

Get ready for some real obnoxious sounding walking noise when the snow comes. They'll have to change them ASAP.
