Cause I play with inverted look for...hmmm...as long as i play shooters on consoles with controlers (maybe 15 Years...don´t really know). It feels simply more "natural" with inverted Y-Axis. It´s not playable without that - FOR ME! I must say, I use Xpadder only for driving vehicles because aiming with Mouse is much more easier. But driving a vehicle with Mouse/Keyboard is really pain in the arse! My Xpadder setup is optimized for driving. The only thing that´s bad is, that the triggers and sticks don´t work analogous, but digital. But I can live with that. Have the same Problem sometimes. Start DayZ over Steam (or tell DayZ Commander to do so) and start Xpadder as admin. Sometimes even that doesn´t work. I close Xpadder than and start it again and save the layout one more time - it always worked then.

Don´t like the idea. It´would make bleeding ridiculous and the game way too easy.

...only for people screaming for more and new stuff over and over again. Those people get ALWAYS bored, no matter how much and fast you add new things to the game ... until it´s totaly broken and overloaded with crap noone uses or needs - we´ve seen that progress in many games before. Chernarus is such a great and huge map! You can have fun for months or years here in it´s current state, you just need a little bit crativity. But I agree, a snowy Chernarus (or seasons al all) would create a great atmosphere.

Nope. The possibilities with ingame settings in ARMA are crap. You can´t invert the sticks - its simply not playable without that option. Yay, and that´s the reason you don´t afford an Xbox, I guess :P

I like all the new maps. They take away all the children and bored 24/7 gamers from chernarus, always needing more and new stuff, never happy with what they have, just running around and kill people for the fun. The more maps there are, the less foolish players are on chernarus servers - the one and only real dayz map.

I'm afraid that will not happen. Last I heard was that tents disappear after a week when the char dies who deployed it IF nobody saves it meanwhile...but thats not true at all. I tried it out. Tent didn´t disappear after 9 days being untouched.

Hmmm...I guess my wife wouldn´t tolerate that for long. I´m quite happy with my real-life, mate. I just have a problem with too much kiddies playing my favourite game.

Nope, I guess you didn´t get it. This is NOT a PVP game. This is a survival game in a zombie-apocalypse. COD or BF3 are PVP-games. You can do PVP in DayZ but this is not the main part of the game and doing (just) PVP is not the way this game is meant to be played. The PVP part is for sadistc, cruel people who kill others just for the fun or better gear - poor souls with no sense for humanity.

I have some tent saving problems too. Me and my bro placed one tent, filled it and saved it. Then we placed a second tent, filled it and saved it. After that we placed a third tent and it didn´t appear. So I just thought "crap" and took another (fourth) tent and placed it at almost the same place as the third who disappeared. We filled it and saved it. I deployed all the tents and we saved both all the tents 3-7 times. After the server restart there were 4 (!) tents. The third (this who disappeared) was there and was merged with the fourth and it was really hard to choose one of them. Three tents were empty. Just the first of them saved correctly. I have issues with vehicles too. Our Bus stood in a forrest. Everything except the wheels was "green". The wheels were "orange" but all wheels were optically OK. After the server restart engine and fuel tank were "red". And the fuel tank was empty. One wheel was missing - strange. And there is another issue with the Bus. I can´t choose the gear on the backseat til my bro does this one time (yes, I know the trick that I have to choose the driver´s seat till i get to the back seat to choose "gear"). And plus: my bro can´t get into the bus till I get out one time - then he can get in as I can always. Maybe that´s the reason why the bus hasn´t been stolen till now :lol: There´s something really weird going on with this game - especially with our bus and tents :D

No, it wouldn´t be cool. NO safe places! This is a survival game in a setting of a zombie-apocalypse. It is no clan-pvp wargame! Building up bases by clans and wars between them would completely destroy the great atmosphere of this game. This would only make sense if these bases could get overran by hundreds (or dozens) of zombies - but this would mean a complete redesign of the game mechanics (and you would need another engine). This game should give very minor possibilities to build up camps and bases. Because tiny camps do not pay attention to the zombies. Creating a camp with some tents is enough to have some storage for items and weapons etc.
