From his recent interviews it seems like this is the main focus for the standalone, so the situation might not be as dire as you think. Pretty sure they know what the problems are and how they address these issues will make or break the standalone so the motivation is there to get it right.Here is to hoping your suspicions are wrong, you can call it being a fanboy but I prefer opptimist.i prefer a closed beta (with OPTIONAL pre-purchasing) over some suspicious fairytales.hon did the same, and i think it worked out pretty well!
