Cherneraus, Fallujah, and Lingor Island. The three maps mainly available, which one do you prefer? What do you think are the pros/Cons of each. Which environment suits your play style the best? Forest, big city, desert, or grassland? Discuss here :3

I tried Lingor, but it didn't feel like proper survival for me. More of a deathmatch with barracks in every town. And I'm too tired to try Fallujah, it looked a bit boring and loot seemed to be too rare in the big city.

So Chernarus is a win for me. Also helps a lot when I know the map.

Panthera's the best. Feels like a us national park. Gives a nice "walking dead" feel.

I like all the new maps. They take away all the children and bored 24/7 gamers from chernarus, always needing more and new stuff, never happy with what they have, just running around and kill people for the fun.

The more maps there are, the less foolish players are on chernarus servers - the one and only real dayz map.

Fallujah is pretty fun. I still haven't found a way too cook food on it though.

1. Lingor: i loved it almost immedialty.

2. Panther: this is fantastic, unfortunately it has been released when the cheaters number increased tremendously, so i didn't enojoyed it much. But i'm sure i'll have time for it.

3. Utes: it sucks bad.

4. Fallujha: not that great... players are concentrate in a couple of spots, not much to see.

Funny you should say that because part of the map actually is a national park IRL.

He meant Panthera and another map (Zargabad mabye, smaller takistan like map) are available for download through Dayz Commander as of last night.

To OP's question I love Lingor and have grown to like Takistan (but the desert spawns suck, nothing worse than having to run through 3000 meters of terrible desert terrain). Fallujah is still a question mark in my mind, sure it can be fun and the vehicles are cool but the city itself is terrible. Outside of the Airfield the map really does not have a draw so I find myself playing and having fun but wondering what it would be like with some other compelling areas to go. I kind of like the forest feel of Chernarus and Lingor versus the desert maps of Fallujah and Takistan, but that is just a preference (helps that Chernarus and Lingor are both well made maps versus the turd that is Fallujah).

Panthera is awesome and might supplant Lingor as my favorite new map. Been having a ton of fun just messing around on the map and with the addition of the Vilayer hive it will only become easier for people to play on (for better or worse).
