Re-add the AS50 TWS?

Ok, i want to put something clear here. The AS50 TWS is a overpowered sack of shit, and in any other situation it should be removed from the games code. The reason for this question is simply the sheer number of these weapons in the game. Scripted and hacked it, they sit in hands of scripters who have a massive advantage over anyone else in the game. And we cannot return the favor because of different reasons:

1. You dont want to cheat.

2. You are afraid to get banned upon joining a server

In any case it leaves us at a disadvantage. There is no other weaponary in the game that reaches the lethality of the AS50 TWS. Adding the gun would allow us to bring the fight back to the scripters, without a penalty.

Pros:

Scripters would loose their advantage, and fair fights would be more common.

Many would have the weapon due to the insane number added, and duped in tents across all servers.

Cons:

All other weapons in the game would be outclassed.

Scripters would be able to script in the weapon without fear of getting kicked/banned.

It would make the ammount of snipers ALOT higher.

Im not choosing sides, im currently in the middle of this. I would like to see what is the opinion of the community.

While i hate the AS50 TWS, i also hate beeing killed by a hacker, with guns he technically cannot have.

Scripters run god mode. Shooting a PC that has god mode active is ineffectual irrespective of the gun. Ergo your proposal is silly.

Uh yeah what sp86 said, you can shoot a scripter with a M136 SAW (i think that is the rocket launcher) and they still will not die because of godmode.

most people who i find with as50s tws are not scripters just found a scripters as50 tws, most likely by tent dupe. so adding them it the game would make then a lot more common making the problem worse, btw most people who have them camp at the hill in elektro i barely see people with them anywhere else, so stay away frm the coast if u dont want to be killed by spawn killer with the easiest type of weapon to kill somone in the game with (snipers)

if you add the thermal .50 cal you will all be in for a treat, the treat being shot from a distance through tree's. The .50 aws in my opinion would ruing the game, on the other hand hackers/scripters use the hell out of that so it could even up the odds? I still vote no tho lol ;)

As i said i am completely biased in this matter. Its more a community temprature gauge, that it is an actual suggestion, and it seems like people would not want it in the game, which i can totally understand.

You can't fight the people who hack in these weapons because they may well have god mode enabled and if they die they just hack all of their equipment back in and are good to go.

You could fight the people who just find these weapons on dead hackers, but they wouldn't have the weapons in the first place if it weren't for the hackers.

I don't think this is a good idea, and would result in more bambis being killed by this overpowered gun. Plus, thermal doesn't belong in DayZ - imo.
