Friday N 49 Posted October 4, 2012 "9. Hero skinned players run 10% faster, and they will completely fill up half empty magazines on relog."what?what?
BelMarduk 169 Posted October 5, 2012 what? Its not hero skin per-se. Any time you change clothes (skins) all empty mags will (re)fill up. When you first log in, you have regular civ clothes on, but if you have attained hero status you are then 're-skinned' to the hero skin, there by causing all your mags to refill. Changing skins any time will refill your mags e.g. change into camo clothes, all mags are full, empty all mags to one, change back into civ clothes and all mags are full again. This was supposed to be fixed with the 'ammo tracking correctly now' but I guess it wasnt.
TMWMarijke 282 Posted October 5, 2012 I have one for you too, maybe. Me and my sister does this all the time, because we are in fact, bloody cowards. If you are in a supermarket, and there are zombies chasing you, if you run behind the shelf that is located nearest to the back wall before the zombies enter the supermarket, and hunker down, the zombies will just enter the supermarket - look around - then walk out.It has never failed us. I dont know how safe this is if there are loads of zombies inside the supermarket already, try it at your own risk!

I dont know how safe this is if there are loads of zombies inside the supermarket already, try it at your own risk!I do believe this is caused by the fact that supermarket enttances are considered opaque, if you try shooting through the entrance you're going to hit invisible glass, and apparently entering a supermarket makes you pass through an invisible wall through which zombies cannot see. As noted in one of my tips, a similar thing happens when you run into a low pine tree, zombies will follow you inside the tree, but will stop and turn around, since they cannot see you through the leaves of the tree. I will add this on the tip.
Phantasm (DayZ) 57 Posted October 8, 2012 7. loot spawns on designated piles if there is a player within 30 to 200 meters from it, and if there is nothing else in the pile, if you find a gigantic depot of trash you can pick everything up and fill a zombie with it, walk around for 10 minutes not closer than 30m and no farther than 200m to cycle the loot and obtain fresh new stuff. doesn't work for helicopter crash sites, and the loot spawn rate depends on server performance. It's 30-120m. Respawn timers depend on each buildings own internal counter which cycles as people are within the 30-120m radius. Every building has the same internal cycle time of 10m by default. kingkrabbe.#bof 35 Posted October 9, 2012 14. Having a crappy PC will delay the rendering of road blocks and rubble in cities, allowing you to drive through a city safely at full speed.Wow, this is the most funny exploit I've seen so far. So when your PC is shit you are the designated driver in any clan. =)
