Is the M40A3 really a hacked gun?

Is it really hacked? I found my rifle in a fire station, so I believe it's legit. And m24 rounds say that they are used for m24 and m40a3, so what's the deal?

Yes, it is hacked, it doesn't matter where you find it.

You can keep it until the server admin says otherwise...then you can keep it and play on another server.

Everyone has a hacked gun in their camp now a days. It doesn't matter, really.

In reality the main differences are mostly that the USMC uses the M40 system and the Army uses the M24 system. Ones long barrel and ones short barelled. Both are chambered the same.

But anyway. The gun is in no way over powered having used it in various other ARMA games but it looks cooler then the M24 so I'd say keep it. I'm normally against hacked guns but its no M4A3 CCO SD GL or AS50 TWS so yeah go ahead.
