Save SUV action

I tried searching for an explanation to this but couldn't find one.

In my adventures I came across a couple of people who had an SUV. Thankfully they didn't kill me (they had plenty of opportunity) and let me ride with them for a while.

They logged out or were kicked and I was left with the SUV.. (woohoo!)

I noticed that sometimes when I looked at the SUV an action would be added tagged "Save SUV". It was very intermittent.

Could anyone please explain what the functionality of this is. Does it do anything at all? Was the SUV made from a script or something?

The SUV is not in game (officially) as far as I know.

Taken from the Wiki:

Will my vehicle stay where I left it?

• Exiting out of a vehicle will save the location. Using the save feature on the vehicle will only save the gear inside.
  
• Other people can (and will) take or destroy the vehicle if they find it.
  
• If a vehicle is unused, bugged or left, it will respawn after a minimum of 7 days.

Was this on a private hive? If not, you'll not be able to Save it from a restart, it'll just be removed. If you're on a private hive, you can save it there if it wasn't scripted in.

Honestly I'm not sure, I never took the time to check I just wanted the lowest ping server. I was using DayZ Commander with the "Hide Unofficial" option checked.

so the other day i found two black SUV,s i took one but when i went on to the day Z wiki vehicles there was no sign of a black SUV does anyone know what car it was? unless it was just called an SUV but i doubt it was called that in game.

Are you on a private hive or public because private can have the SUV

It's a hacked vehicle, i would suggest blowing it or destroying the vehicles.

Unless it's on a private hive i would suggest leaving the server.

yea it was on a public server next to the corner shop in stary sober i lost it a few days ago anyway but yea i was pretty amazed and confused as to what it was.
