A lot of people don't seem to realise that this game is in ALPHA STAGE or do not understand what that means.

If you are unsure of what Alpha, Beta and Gold mean in gaming cycle terms then please read this...

In a nutshell, expect bugs.

There is no point in whinging about it. Rocket has provided us with an awesome Mod/Game for no cost to us. He deserves our praise and respect,

not haters hating...

Just my opinion but I'm new to these forums and I'm already annoyed by all the whiners who don't understand what they're talking about.

Please think about the fact that this is an unfinished mod in its early stages of development before you post with complaints.

The only reason we are seeing these bugs is because Rocket was so nice as to release the unfinished version to the public.

Anyway back to the fray...

you all got wrong what Rocket said, he did not say we have to pay Arround 15 € for the Standalone. Rocket will pay us all 15 Euro for getting the Standalone becouse we are so good Alpha testers. For every Hacker Global banned 25€ were recived for an Standalone Alpha/Beta tester payout.

My first post but I couldn't resist. The Mod is still Alpha after 1.2 million Alpha testers testing for months? The bugs most of you are experiencing have been there since OFP, 11 years ago. Unless the Rocket is using a different engine then expect those bugs in the stand alone.

He uses an Arma 2.5 Engine, it´s a Mix of all Arma Engine´s (i i dont get it wrong) to provide the best standalone expirience.

If you playing an a Group and be honest to yourself. The Bugs brought up the most hilarious moments ingame. Atleast for me , how often i had to laugh my ass off dieing to an Tree or see my Friends get killed by doors or other random objects. For me the Bugs are a Part of the whole Dayz expirience.

I love bugs too, when players dup themselves, or graphical glitches, or duping tents, or wirefences not erased from HIVE when removed, etc. Can't stop laughing.

There's that Q&A with Rocket talking about rebuilding a lot of things from the ground up and the version of engine being used.

From what I could gather, the engine was going to be somewhere between ARMA 2 and 3.

I was sold on it when I read "ragdoll physics" :D

Also, I'm not saying there will be a point where we will see no bugs, I'm just saying its early days for a mod of this quality and it seems a lot of people are getting impatient ;)

The idea is to learn and avoid the bugs. I haven't died to a bug in months. Try actually thinking about what you're doing in game...

I got the impression that the "bugs" were part of the experment. So your telling me I've been testing an "Alpha" all this time, why didnt someone bring this to my attention months ago..??

Next someone is going to "post" that this is not a game but a Mod for a game, my heart will be ripped apart if this is true.....

Back to the bugs, maybe Rocket & dev's are just F#cking with us to have a little light reading (went people cry about this game is full of bugs and not finished) or a good laugh at or expence.
