andrewmont 91 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) I have 2 characters in Day Z - one on a private hive and one on the normal hives. I had done well for my private hive character (read previous post) so decided to go back to my normal one. I was looking for a relatively well populated server and decided to try RU 85.Within seconds of logging in I saw a white off road driving along the road near Stary. I was itching to kill someone so far I had ran into no players with this character. The car stopped in the fields in front of me, I was trying to take cover behind rocks but stood up and the truck stopped. I saw a player leave the truck whilst the other one stayed behind. He came around wearing a ghillie - at first I wasn't sure whether he was friendly or not. He didn't shoot at first then let off a few rounds towards me so I promptly emptied 3 rounds from my DMR into him and he was down. Then his friend starts driving up - I try to fire shots at him through the windscreen but don't know if I hit. He ejects out the truck but before he can get his bearings I've shot him down as well.Whilst looting I notice one of them apparently has no backpack and I can't access the other ones. On them I find NVG, GPS and M9SD with plenty of mags. They also had M4SD + DMR's but I already had these as well as 'Laser Marker' and Silenced PDW which must've been hacked in, I buried these with their bodies though. The whole time I worry their team mates are nearby as I presume the reason they didn't shoot on sight is because they thought I might've been one (since I was wearing ghillie as well) then I realise ones still alive so I pop a round in his head from my DMR and drive around with my new toy looking for crash sites.I come across one at Altar so I check for loot (nothing of interest) I'm done for the night so after killing off all the zombies in the immediate area I blast an fn fal mag into the truck take back my M4 and boost. With explosion and smoke behind me and lots of text and exclamation marks (which I can only assume is due to the fireworks show) I state there is a crash site at Altar and they should follow the smoke. Dunno if stopping me accessing their backpack was a hack or not. Also there was people talking on the side channel about teleporting. I don't know what was going on but either way assholes were still using hacked gear. In the side channel there was someone asking to be teleported and getting denied so I dunno if maybe it was a team with one hacker or what.
