First of all, the M240 is a LIGHT Machinegun, and its the gun that the door gunners in the huey fire.Actually the M240 (FN MAG) is a "General Purpose Machinegun" this is because it's fairly heavy and long and it shoots 7.62x51mm NATO (the military equivalent of .308 winchester, mainly used in Marksman rifles).
