xxblink 66 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Our server restarted last night. We got out of the vehicle, made sure it was saved, and logged out before the server restart happened. Came back in, the car is gone. Poof. We've waited another restart, hoping it will come back, and it didn't. We had the same thing happen the other day. One of us logged in to our camp and our bike, car and tent were all gone. He logged back out. After a server restart, they came back. Is this happening to anyone else? Server is on 1.7.2.6. Pennyworth (DayZ) 33 Posted September 25, 2012 before we switched our server from Cherno to Lingor we used to have this problem. Server would do its scheduled restart and all vehicles and tents wouldnt be where they were left. After another restart the vehicles/tents would appear back in the spot they were left. We found the easiest way for us to ensure that both returned after a restart was to schedule a second restart after the first one. That way tents and vehicles would reappear and our player base wouldnt have to wait for an admin to come on and notice that all was missing.after switching our server over to to a private hive and being able to use modified files that were prohibited by the Dayz server enforcement douches we havent had this problem at all.I'd suggest ditching the main hive and playing on a more stable/better supported second party hive.
