2 Questions About DayZ

Question 1: Is there a way to get rid of the fading color screen? You know how the screen kind of goes black and white and starts bluring near death? I know its good to be informed your dying but does it have to be this annoying?

Question 2: Is it possible to get the survivor characters into regular ArmA2? Or ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead?

Eating food gives you health? Never knew that. Im kinda new to DayZ. Lol.

I mean like take the survivor characters from DayZ and make them playable characters in normal ArmA2/Operation Arrowhead.

DayZ doesnt control the Arma series.

Best food you can get are from animals. Make sure you have a Hunting knife to gut the animal, an ax to chop wood from trees (get next to a tree and right click the ax), and matches! (right click on the matches and make a fire flace, when it's made light fire and cook meat!)

If you just want to fool around in the editor, you can find models in the editor similar to the ones used in DayZ.

Singleplayer is disabled in DayZ, so I started up Combined Operations without DayZ. Clicked Singleplayer/Editor/selected the Chernarus map.

Survivor skin: Independent/PMC/Tactical Driver

I named him "you" and put "removeallweapons you;" in the init line to remove his default weapons.

Backpack: Empty/backpacks/Alice Pack

Ammo: Empty/Ammo/Cz weapons or Guerilla weapons

Target: Empty/Targets/pop-up targets(small)

Vehicle: Empty/Cars/ATV(us)

Chickens: Empty/Ambient Life/Chickens

And beans, pasta aaannnd some at else. X200 per tin. Animals X 800 per steak, so kill a cow for max steaks
