More or less correct. Zombies do notice people on cars and bikes but aren't programmed to attack the player (even when they are on a peddle bike, like in the vid). The presence of a car/other vehicle doesn't keep loot from spawning, but the speed at which you approach has the potential not give the loot time to spawn. Which can make it seem like they de-spawn loot.

Actually, They dont Notice YOU but they will notice the car :P And loot wont even spawn if ur in a car

Same if you're on a motorbike zombies don't attack; they go docile and wander off. Proof that dayz developers still have a long way to go. And I will personally throttle any twunt who says "alpha" like we don't know that already.

mhmm ... ok i will try it but i mean, it would make sense that they only detect the sound emmited by the car and not the player. Cus i know loot AND Zombies doesn't spawn if you're in a car.

Zombies notice me on my bike from all the way across town. They notice me farther away then they have any right to notice me. It isn't unusual for me to have twenty or thirty of the fuckers chasing me around as I ride across town.

Yes, that's often the way with vehicles. But if you stop and wait, when they run up to you they will suddenly go docile and just hang around looking useless like a flock of boyfriends in a store while their girlfriends try on clothes. I fully expect one of the zombies to say, "uh yeah, it's nice...very nice...it suits you...."

It certainly does. I guess there's a trick to how far you stop your bike from those items and then leg it to them and back to your back again before the old *chomp chomps* get to you. :thumbsup:
