In many shootouts, i kill the enemy but they often run away and then die of blood loss, i would like if i was able to track them by a trail of blood, and then find their body...

Check out the SLX mod for Arma 2. They do blood trails very well. It is possible to track a bleeding person

This is actually a really good idea, good for traps too

Could be implemented on the wildlife as well for hunting purposes. It would be used to track down an animal that you didn't one shot kill.
