How can i know who killed me?

everytime i try to ask their names but they seem too afraid or something

now doesnt that just show how theyre really pussies?

if you are a bandit and youre proud of it at least tell the person you murdered your name! be a man with balls

dayz is realistic game, so killers shouldn't tell victims their names 'cause they are... just dead lol :D be realistic!

I will tell people on side chat it was me most of the time, but a couple of times I am fairly sure it got me hack attacked right after so I understand why many would not answer. I usually give someone props for a good kill, it is a gentleman's sport.

That's the spirit, I knew you would appreciate me not taking out your aiming eye. I always shoot people in the left eye, it makes no sense to be cruel by crippling aiming capabilities of fellow Survivors :D.

Nameplates may give you some idea if you see your assailant. Only enabled on some servers though.

People that think DayZ is realistic should stop smoking so much weed. It would be interesting and helpful to let people know if they were killed by another player or from a booby trap or starvation. Sometimes the admin just kills you off because they want to help their friends who are on the server.
