I never got very deeply into ACE, but I know it has wind direction and speed as a ballistic consideration. I hope that the standalone DayZ follows suit, and uses it for bullet trajectories as well as smell-based detection for zombies and dogs.Also, sweet link, that mist was awesome. The bushes an dgrass being partly flattened by wind was great, too. I wonder how well that scales. Can we have fields of blowing grass? Swaying forests? indominator 95 Posted September 21, 2012 well, maybe wind oculd be influenced by the players, if the heatmap of chernarus is influenced by hotspots, like each activity, even walking increases slowly the heat in a place, and then the heatspots of each map can generate a medium which the game could simulate air pressure that creates wind, something like that, dunno Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
