Arma 2 Free better performance?

Hi...i just wondering if i have arma 2 free(with OA) can i have a better performance because of low textures?

Probably. Might not be much, but some improvement should be noticeable.

I personally noticed better performance in ARMA 2 than ARMA 2 Free. I think it depends on the system though.

I don't think so...ArmA 2 free is just ArmA 2 with lower texture settings on the models.

And therefor your computer needs to render less.

Meaning, more resources left for other things.

I can officially confirm that you will. My brother used the free version for a bit and noticed a bit of a performance drop when he upgraded. Like Mr Russian said, there's less rendering to do with the lower textures of the free version.
