Sorry to hear that man. My group strives to uphold the ideals of this game, namely no duping, hacking, or combat logging. I know how long it takes to gather all that stuff up, and having your site wrecked is a real blow to the morale.

All i wanted. ALL i wanted. Was a nice, secluded little camp north of Pusta on the hill surrounded by rocks.

Just enough to deposit supplies and hoard. Because that's what i wanted to fucking do. I didn't want to PK, i didn't want to gather all the vehicles, i didn't want to block off buildings with barbed wire.

I wanted ONE. FUCKING. CAMP. To store my stuff. ONE. FUCKING. CAMP. That would not be found, not be immediatly looted by some ASS that stumbled across it, or more likely just fucking nuked by the server.

I cannot save my progress, there is no progress, there is no game. Go kill a fully equipped guy in Elecktro and you win the game. Nothing else to do. You cannot save your progress.

Maybe standalone would remedy this via "underground bases", but i'm so soured on this game that i'm not going to buy it.

I'll buy Black ops 2. Just to Spite all of you. I won't even play it.

I don't know the type of server you were playing on but at the moment I'm playing on a passworded private hive with not much people. It's really good if you just want to mind your own business and collect items. It does get boring never seeing anyone, but I'd rather be able to have a vehicle and fast loading times than more player interaction. Can't stand 10 minute loading screens.

Thats the risk you take by hiding gear in a flimsy tent. Why would you really expect to go back to a tent and find all your gear still in it?

You have three options - stick at it and dont bother with tents, wait for underground bases or hit the road.

This kind of shit is why i'm leaving.

What sucks is i was a decent player. I wasn't a KoS bandit, i wasn't a script-kiddie, i didn't lock down towns, i didn't raid other people's camps.

All i did was collect Lee Enfields and m16's and craft myself a little base, doing medic runs in between.

Time and time-a-fucking-gain, my camp was ransacked or destroyed. Be it by hacker, restart, server closing, or looter.

I'm done. My job is less fucking stressful than this, my school work is less fucking stressful than this, my grandfather slowly dying of Parkansons is less fucking stressful than this.

Not sure what updates that you and I have done differently, but my tents behave just fine and keep items between resets. I find what I left in there.

Just use someone elses camp, I found a camp loaded with tents and vehicles, I brought them a off road pickup and borrowed a dirt bike to go rip around with, I'm sure they wont mind =P

thats just made me think..it would be nice if you could leave a note in their tent...an IOU, or explanation of you 1for1-ing the pickup for bike :)
