Oh Ok DayZ/Battleye..

To whom it may concern,

I had been innocently playing with my mate and hunting down hackers with weapons we had found, then we decided to change server. My mate had run out to get supplies and was struck by lighting and killed, I presume hacks, as it happened again when he respawned and I had never seen this before, which was on ANZ1. Hoping the same would not happen to me I logged out and tried to join another server. I was declined as it stated I had been banned for hacking.

The only reason I could believe this would be, the use of possibly hacked items I had looted from other players? Although its hard to know which is hacked and which is'nt, as i'd presume all/most snipers are hacked these days.

I don't see how this is a hackable offense as I have NOT and would NOT hack, as I have no idea how. I would like this matter addressed immediately.

Is this a global BattlEye ban across all servers or a local server ban? What is the message you receive when you try to join?

If you can't join any secured servers, you've been globally banned, and that means that you have to buy the game again and change your key in the registery, but it also means that you most likely tried to download some hacks/scripts that changed your original CD key to a banned one.

OR

You were most likely banned from that specific server. All you need to do is find another.

Im wondering why all the "oh wait i never hacked an now banned, probably msitaking Battleye" People never ever used the Forum.

And for more "help" it needs the infos smash asked for...

To expand on the above, if you were banned from a server, it's not a BattleEye/DayZ thing, it's an action taken by that server admin.
