Hydra (DayZ) 472 Posted September 17, 2012 That has been around ever since the clothing options were implemented. Stop bitching and do like everyone with a brain stem does: take off your backpack before switching skins. And they havn't gotten around to patching the infinite ammo glitch yet.

Now I do. Hence, it just started.Play the fucking game before attempting to post.
Hydra (DayZ) 472 Posted September 17, 2012 You sound a little sad, brohan. The switching of skins does indeed reset your backpack. Sometimes it merely wipes the backpack of its contents. Sometimes it robs you of your coyote backpack and replaces it with a patrol pack. It half depends on how laggy your server is and what backpack you are wearing.Get some fucking logic before attempting to sound intellectual.

redemptionse 9 Posted September 17, 2012 This bug has been around forever. Take your backpack off before you change clothing otherwise it will give you the backpack you joined the server wearing. Theres tons of threads about this why does no one ever use search?

venthos 605 Posted September 17, 2012 Yay another person who hates using the search function. Here, let me spoon feed you and let you suckle on my teat. The Bug: When your skin changes (be it to bandit/normal/hero or to camo/ghillie) the game sets your backpack to whatever you had when you last logged in. If it was no backpack, it wipes your backpack. If it was a different pack type from what you have on, it'll set it to that one.'The Solution: As you might surmise from the bug, the solution is to just logout to the lobby and back in again the moment you get a new pack type. Then, you never have to worry about your pack being destroyed/set to a worse pack again! ZOMG ZOMG ZOM GOZMG OZMG ZOGMZNow I'll just go ahead and wait 2 hours for someone else to refuse to search because they are lazy and far more important than time spent searching for answers. Please do it now.First off I ain't mad. The pack didn't have much and I took it off another butt muncher I shot. Second. The glitch was fixed pre .6. Like I said before. Why this is happening now probably also has to do with the fact that Vehicles regenerate and you don't lose thirst or hunger while using it.

Inception. 9443 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) Yay another fagget that needs to go kill himself. Please do it now.First off I ain't am not mad. Why this is happening now probably also has to do with the fact that Vehicles regenerate and you don't lose thirst or hunger while using it. Please enlighten me on how you decided to use the word 'faggot' to relate to his post, ultimately describing the OP.Obviously you are infuriated , if you are asking someone to kill themselves merely because you were too silly to take care when changing clothes. How in the world did you find to relate vehicles regenerating and thirst and hunger not 'draining' 'when using it' [lack of specificity there] to losing your backpack?EDIT: And NO, it didn't JUST start after .6, it happened to many prior.
