Wtf just happened?

So i was counter-sniping in Elecktro when i hear movement behind me. I turn around to see a bandit kneeling down, and i blast him with my M107.

Right after that i die in a big firey explosion (ears ringing etc). WTF?

Was he a hacker? He died. Or was he just a super troll putting satchel charges on snipers in Elecktro?

Doubtful. At first i thought he was looting my backpack for a weapon, but after he got up i saw he had a pistol.

Only other thing i can think of is he was setting a satchel charge. In that case i'm thinking hacker... 50cal's can take hackers down right?

Update: While running to Elecktro i bump into the same guy. He's apparantly ran to his body and gotten his shit back.

It was an interesting conversation. Not sure why he didn't shoot me on sight, but we talked on steam for a bit. Still thinking hacker... he said he had a trap set up for me again (satchel charge) and he wasn't sure why he didn't just kill me.

Kinda makes me think he knew where i spawned. Hmm.

Edit: This was in between Otmel and Elecktro. We both died on the hill north of Elecktro (not sniper hill, the other one).

Yup he told me he touched off the bomb during the lag delay between my M107 round obliterating his chest and his death.

Probably a hacker, either that or he's got a camp and he's running around trolling people. Only had a silenced M9 and satchel charges on him apparantly.
