terex 322 Posted September 13, 2012 "A tent can hold up to five backpacks, ten weapons & tools and fifty general items. For example one tent can hold five binoculars, five M4A1s, forty STANAG mags, ten engine parts and five backpacks at the same time."

AnnieGYG 32 Posted September 13, 2012 Usually the overflowing items will spawn around the tent a few moments later.100% agreed, tents don't destroy items under normal circumstances, instead the items end up on the ground but they can be some distance away from the tent so have a good look round. NickM (DayZ) 57 Posted September 13, 2012 Only had two primaries in there at the time.Have to take a closer look at equipment. So something like a flashlight will take a primary slot?
hatfieldcw 184 Posted September 13, 2012 Yeah, flashlights, maps, toolboxes, all that stuff counts as weapons in the tent. I got into some trouble when I had a weird match fetish. I didn't find a single box of matches for the first two weeks I played, so when I finally started finding them, I'd put them in my tent. After a while, I had a hoard of matches and no place to put guns.
slartibartfast (DayZ) 77 Posted September 13, 2012 (edited) Sounds like the tent was already full. They hold ten primary guns. This is a good point.I will add to it though.Tools count as primary weapons. Remember to count maps, compasses, watches etc when putting the big guns in a tent.
