REALLY wanna know whats up

Recommended Posts

the 8 servers on my favorites list are all greyed out. i refreshed my dayz commander it finds 4870 servers. about 10 of them are white and playable. Everything is update to date. ive checked and checked again.. and then double checked. Ive tried everything i can think of.. im thankful i still have 10 servers i can play on.. but my Favourites.. the ones with my hidden vehicles and tents are greyed out.. and im not sure what 2 do? I guess i just wanna know if its me or dayz commander.. or the server.

Doesn't commander show the version the server are running also? Maybe the server hasn't been updated.

Try reinstalling everything, fresh install if you wanna be super sure. they when its update, you'll know its the server.

Or try connecting via IP.

No its a pain in the ass. THere are servers my frind can get into and I can not. No matter if i use DZCOM or actual Arma2. I dont understand it and sometimes it poses a real problem.

EDIT: Its time i get a new keyboard...clearly.

We've had the problem of not being able to see the same server sometimes, usually my friends have had filters on without realising.. In Commander you need to give it a decent amount of time to load the server list once you click refresh. As for the greyed out servers, you're certain they are running the same version of Arma II and DayZ as you? Some servers can get a little behind on updates.

I still play on greyed out servers, it just means your Dayz or beta patch don't match the servers. You can always down grade with DayZcommander.

To the OP, run the newest beta patch manually and stop using that crap software. That's my first piece of advice.
