Just got randomly infected by a zombie. Really lame. Now I'm basically screwed because I don't have antibiotics and I've never even seen them right? Infection never goes away and i just cough and cough. Any medics out there?

That is either from leaving and rejoining the same server while in shock or a bug. If you search around there are a few medic white listed topics and such..

Yeh to be honest I usually don't even both with antibiotics, I simply run to the coast, suicide and then run back to my body if I get sick.

Antibiotics spawn mostly in Cherno the back hospital tents. You will most likely/definitely find one there.

The cough keeps going but your blood only drains to 6000 but if you waste time blood bagging and crap it will drain again to 6k :(

Yeah agreed, infections only take your blood down to 6000 so it won't kill you.

• < 9000 - Susceptible to "Knock out" from zombies
  
• < 8000 - Color and sound begin to fade
  
• < 3000 - May fall Unconscious This is a 1 out of 100 chance, calculated every second
  
• < 2000 - Black and white screen, loss of much hearing capability
  
• 0 - Player Dead
  

However aside from the Mike Tyson zombies the coughing will be heard by every other player in the area so you'll probably die due to that.

Most anti-biotics are found inside the hospitals so you need to break the glass. Try posting in the Medics thread and someone might meet up with you.

Or run to the coast, suicide, then run back to your body.

Since playing DAYZ I have been infected twice. Both of the times were on Lingor and I found antibiotics easy. But I do not remember if I saw any antibiotics on Chernarus map. Good luck finding them. you gotta believe you will make it.

Survival of the fittest. Usain Bolt can only walk in the buildings, while Mike Tyson just breaks trough the walls, wire fences and sandbags, if you hide in a corner of a room he's gonna punch right trough the concrete wall and grab your nec- I mean bite your ear off.
