tips for noobs

tip 1: if you head up along the coast for awhile there is a petrol station beside a bridge a blue van usually spawns there with no wheels

tip 2: keep going along the coast untill you find cherno/elektro.

tip 3: when in towns always try to sneak past zombies and go through backyards.

tip 4: always survey the area you are planning to enter.

tip 5: when surveying an area watch the zombies if the zombies are going bezerk it means there is another player afoot if you have no loot you should try to find this player that is being chased as death is not a loss for fresh spawns.

tip 6: when you are being chased it is best to run through buildings as the zombies can only walk inside houses.

tip 7: if you are planning to raid the north west airfield come in through the forest and watch the airfield tower as bandit snipers often hide up there.

tip 8: conserve your food and drink only eat or drink when the sign is flashing red this is a food saving tactic that i use.

tip 9: if you are trapped inside a building and you have a gun aim at the zombies head to saved bullets.

tip 10: NEVER make a campfire on the road or outside of a village find a forrest that is far away from roads or fields as fire can attract humans and zombies.

tip 11: if you have a car NEVER stray too far from it and always conceal it well.

tip 12: you should adjust mouse sensitivity for better aim on weapons.

tip 13: if you see a zombie chasing you DONT shoot unless you absulutely have to its common for idiots to start spraying bullets into every zombie they see which just attracts more.

tip 14:never use flares or chemlights in villages unless you want to draw zombies away from a position smoke grenades actually distract zombies if your being chased.

tip 15: say you have an ak47 and 5 mags and you find an m16 with 1 mag dont swap it always keep the gun with the more ammo.

tip 16: if you want to survive the best thing to do is to kill anyone who comes near you unless they are your friend.

tip 17: if you are a fresh spawn you should always sneak in large towns as there is usually military camps and if your being chased you cant loot the tents.

tip 18: never grab sniper rifles unless they are M14'S or hunting rifles because if you have an as50 it will be harder to kill zombies and mags are rarer.

tip 19: never kill a zombie if you dont have to i've seen too many idiots shooting at every zombie in earshot because they think its funny

"up the coast" doesn't mean anything, man. Spawn points are random. Also, the vehicle you found was partially repaired and unique to the server you were on.

Good advice overall, but the navigational tips aren't helping anyone.

The Blue Van "Passion Wagon" is at solnichney petrol station north east from electro, It pretty much always spawns there, if it's not its probably been taken already.

They often contain good guns and can have morphine and all sorts of goodies in them. The coast will be filled with snipers and bandits.

if your a fresh spawn it doesnt matter if you get sniped because you probably only have flares and bandages so no trouble

The only problem with doing that is a lot of others are startig to do the same. Granted its still not as bad as cherno/electro but there are certain things that could take you much longer to gather by going from shack to shack, or stand to stand. Matches, hunting knife, hatchet, map, and compass. Not that you cant find those things scattered throughout the map, but it may be the death of you. Even after you have good gear (Rifle, pack, and ammo), by not having some of the basics that are found in cherno/electro. Once you have the basics then you dont need the big cities at all. But if your going to survive in the wild you have to have the basics so that you can. Oh yea and don't forget your morphine, epipen, and bandages. If you break a leg (falling out of a deer stand for instance) you will need the meds to get back on your feet, and if your running as a lone wolf good luck getting patched up. Good luck!

If you go on a Server with 10-20 ppl the risk of getting sniped isnt that high. If you just rush for the Firestation/Supermarket/School and get what you find, then head to the inlands, imo its kinda safe.

Also I disagree with 15, 5 Mags to 1 Mag ok, but if you have 5 Mags and find a better Weapon with 3 Mags, I'd take the better one. Especially if Mags arent that rare, like Stanags.
