Six months reserve seems excessive to me, they keep the money for 90 days for our company... but i guess it's a matter of amounts: in our case it is hundred thousands euros each month.

I love how on shitty ass Dayz.st servers you cannot even reload chopper ammo without downloading additional programs, and adjusting the FTP yourself. I mean that's just basic Dayz functionality, it's not like a mod. Laziest company I've ever encountered, and before anybody says..."then why don't you go stop using them?". I did, it's just ridiculous how much time gets invested in getting a server running, and you basically are fighting DDOS, Battleye, database saves, stability, service outages, all of that nearly constantly. Oh and by default the server doesn't even work, lol! Reloading the choppers is just vanilla DayZ. You guys suck, gratz on almost fixing the tents (try to get rid of an old tent without purging it from the DB by hand, lol).

I recently changed my server map to namalsk and i got a big problem when any1 joins the server they get get kicked after 5secs and i have not changed or edit anything on the server. Does any1 hav any tips on fixing this problem?

So is there any news on the lag and desync issues? Rubber banding, red and yellow chains, ability to drive through wrecks and buildings, firefights in which blasted player dies two minutes after it's over, players unable to access gear or vehicle menus, disconnection to the DB and control panel for minutes at a time.

I understand the filters might have something to do with the load, but not running them is an invitation to a scripfest. Have any suggestions on optimizing the filters without compromising security? Any other ideas at what might be causing the desync and lag spikes?

99.9% of the time it seems to be servers with lines like 2 "" or 1 "" in any of the battleye filters - my recommendation is to remove any of those lines that log or writeout all events for any particular filter. If that doesn't fix it I took a look through all of the servers and found 3 at higher than normal loads and adjusted their max slots to compensate (but this takes some time as people need to move off or cancel), ams02 (159.253.131.97), lon01 (5.63.147.44) and wdc20 (50.97.53.250) were the ones I changed - they seem to have slipped past the automated load balancer. If you were on those lag might actually be our fault.

Scripts.txt and Setvariableval.txt files become HUGE between restarts. What if I were to just delete all of the lines containing 1 and just kept all of the lines with 5 in them?

Well, I removed all of the lines containing 1 in both of the largest logging files and still getting complaints of upsidedown choppers and players appearing and reappearing. I would have figured it would have reduced the desync at some level since the logs for scripts and setvariable no longer produce a log.

Are dayz.st servers still running standard bliss or are they now reality like some other people on other forums are saying?

We maintain our own branch of bliss/reality now. We intend to open source it at some point once we clean up the code.

Thanx for the answer, was just wondering as some of the mods I am testing in my mission PBO are Reality based. all previous mods have been done based on bliss.

One last thing, is the deployables saving or still buggy?

Your post wreaks of ignorance. You need change only one line in your scripts.txt file to not get kicked for the heli ammo reload. If you don't even know simple things like this you shouldn't be running a server.

The default filters that dayz.st provides are way outdated, but it is your responsibility as admin to update them yourself. If you actually read before spouting insults you would have noticed dwarden's sticky on the top of this board with a link to the newest filters: https://code.google..../browse/filters

can any1 help me with this problem plz and it doesnt give me a script restriction error just says "you were kicked from server" after 5secs for any1 whos joins

Some time ago one of your team or a persoin you new had a web site where you could upload your .bedi / .sqf file and it would give you a sql query to run in your database the site was something like wolf.wolf.com or sumthing. do you know if this is stall around? if so do you or does someone know the address>?

You said dayz.st servers are terrible because you can't even reload choppers without getting kicked for script restrictions. I said that was ignorant because you need change only one line in your scripts.txt to fix it.

I had mentioned quite a few more issues than that. As for the others having problems. The tech support is BY EMAIL ONLY. Yeah, have fun with that.

any chance someone could look into the grey out on dayz commander? looks like its an issue with a lot more dayz .st servers now. I have also emailed but the first response was "nothing was changed". Only thing i see is there is no server min. could that be the problem??

It is to do with the server name being to long. Try to shorten it as much as you possibly can or use the default one. I am unsure of the max character limit but I shortened mine and it showed as white text instantly

Servers updated to Namalsk 0.741 and ArmA2 Beta 103419 - Namalsk also now supports messaging, custom inventories, and buildings.

I believe the EU hive node is now operational as well which should reduce lag for servers in Amsterdam, London, and Singapore.

im really wanting to get a server from ST but im not hip on the desync goings on, any world on what exactly this issue is and how to fix it
