ImCptCrunch 17 Posted September 8, 2012 Hey, with the current build of DayZ the Debug monitor in the corner only displays the Zombie kills, Bandit kills and Murders (along with blood ect), but with the new addition of the different UI settings, what about more personal stat tracking on a separate UI, such as distance walked in the current life, how many sodas you have drunk, and how much blood you have restored ect. it would be great to be able to see more of what you have done in your current life rather than just kills. Thanks :D

SystemiK 366 Posted September 8, 2012 At one point the devs claimed that they were tracking pretty much everything that happens in the game (and I'm inclined to believe them). What they have not done, is share much of that data with the public, probably a smart move considering how much scrutiny they are getting from certain other game devs, but I reckon they have absolutely mountains of data. They talked quite a bit about this back in early May. At the time they were talking about dedicating a website to in depth player stats, it seemed to be a very important item on the agenda and I seriously doubt that has changed much. Hopefully, they will cut loose some of the data during standalone alpha and not make us wait until standalone retail for all the gory details...

Duckman404 37 Posted September 8, 2012 I actually like this idea. Not for showing off, but to set personal goals or to look back at your time with something interesting, like old scars. Things like hit percentage, to see how accurate your shooting has been. How much blood you've lost, in total. How many times you've been shot. How many km you've walked. How many rounds you've fired. How many players you've bandaged, or how many cans of beans you've eaten. This kind of stuff always interests me, whether or not it's for comparing to other people. Just a sense of personal achievement.
