So here's the story, I was running around minding my own business for a while when I come across another survivor. He has no idea I'm behind him.

''Hey there Buddy!'' I said through direct.

He turns around slowly

''Oh hey!'' he replied, in a enthusiastic tone.

He seemed nice, from our first ''conversation''. I told him how long I'd been playing and he told me. We even talked about where we looted our guns, and where we were headed. Since this was Lingor Island, a map I'd never played on before, I asked him if I could follow him, because I had no idea where I was.

''Sure!'' he said. ''I'm trying to find a boar to cook for meat''.

I followed him up a hill, and once we got to the top, things started to get weird...

'Whoa! hold on!'' he said in a calm, yet panicked manner.

''What do you see?''

''A player, do you see him?'' he said as he walked slowly backwards, going from in front of me, to behind me.

I knew something else was going on... I scanned all around us and there was nothing to be seen. Using the ALT key, I looked behind me; His gun was pointed direct at the back of my head. At this point, I knew EXACTLY what he was doing. I ran to the side as quickly as I could, turn around and just as I put my first shot into his chest, he put one into mine. For 5 seconds I put every last bullet into his filthy skull, and he fell to the floor, laughing like menacingly through direct chat.

I felt... Like a badass, this player had the jump on me. I had my back turned to him and I still came out as the victor, so I was ''pumped up'' and my next actions, were something like this...

It's pretty good! At first I didn't think I would like it because of the scenery, but it's really starting to grow on me. The only problem I have with it, is that I'm new to it, and never have any idea where the hell I am >.> haha

I keep threatening to check it out. Just the bird sounds from the videos drives me nuts, not sure i could cope listen to it for extended periods.

Yeah there's a lot of annoying ambiance. For like, 2 hours I was getting trolled by the sounds of car doors closing. Took me forever to figure out it was just a part of the game's background noise.

Find a map, a compass and a townsign.

Residential building are everywhere, you should find the basic fast.

I found a ghillie, a tent, a knife, matches, an ax, a compass, a map and a watch within my first 40 minutes on my first (and only) Lingor play. otherwise, just find a roadsign and use an online map.

I have a whole lot of problem with the brushing sound which always sound like it comes from behind you, on your right. Sounds like footsteps. I've stayed many times atop a building thinking I had heard a player walking outside and beloow me.
