Fake Guns

You know, like the ones kids play with and have the orange colored stripe at the end. When you shoot them they have a puff of smoke come out, BANG! BANG! BANG!, and then nothing. IDK I think it would add some variety; maybe only be able to find them in apartments/cafes/school.

Imagine shooting it just to scare someone off if they get too close to you, when you may or may not have a real weapon on you. F**K with people's heads Dirty Harry style "Do I only have a fake gun, or do I also have a REAL gun?! Go ahead. Make my day motherf**ker!!."

I think this is a cool idea but they should have blank clips so if u have spare room u can have a blank stagna clip u can use in any gun that uses them

If the fake gun skin is any different from the usual guns then it defeats the purpose, peeps will know its fake. Likewise peeps will also grow accustomed to the sound of "fake" shooting.

Blank Clips maybe, but i dont really see the point in a fake gun.

Yeah I see what you mean. Though I imagine this having more than just a strictly practical (conventional?) use in the sense one could use it to bait another player (whom may have pals waiting in the bushes) by maybe shooting at him from around the corner. He then thinks you only have a toy gun, thus letting his guard down. And then you take out you're real gun/hatchet/call buddy and then ??? PROFIT. Think MacGyver.

Plus it could be an intuitive new learning experience between survivors, like for example:

Survivor 1: Holy SHit!! Did you just hear that?? INSIDE THE CHURH!

Survivor 2: Yeah, don't worry it's just a toy gun.

Survivor 1: Really?!?! Shewww, I thought we were heading into trouble or something...

Survivor 2: Well toy guns don't shoot themselves you know.

Survivor 1: Then why the hell would he be using it? Pshh, he must be a newb then.

Survivor 2: Just don't let your guard down mate.

Survivor 1: Whatever brah, I got dis *Goes into church* OMG NOoOoOOOOO! *Dies from gunshot/hatchet wounds*

Survivor 2: Haha, noob.

It can also be used for psychological warfare which can either be practical and/or comical. Sneak up behind noob, unload the pop gun on him, and watch him run around aimlessly like a headless chicken, lol.
