I STILL have the 'Requesting Character Data' problem.

So, I've seen all of the other threads (4 I think?) about the Requesting Character Data problem. I've had it for about a week straight. Tried re-DLing the mod and stuff, still not working.

Have you tried just leaving it on one server and seeing if you can connect?

Patience is a virtue, with DayZ it's a necessity.

What do you mean, "Leaving it?" I usually wait about 7 minutes then it takes me to a screen where I can see trees and player models just sitting there, frozen.

At the moment it's literally impossible for me to get on a server. I tried on 4 different machines, UK1, DE3, EU5 <-- looping in "Retrying to Authenticate" and FR2. Stuck on "Requesting character data" for minutes, and then you end up in this small little forest area.

The last 2 days were already difficult, but today it's impossible to join for me.

Same problem here, stays at the "Requesting Character data..." screen and takes about 30-60 minutes to "spawn", where i'm just stuck and see player models standing still and trees moving. Chat still works...
