Pro's and Con's of Private servers

I had been playing the game for a couple of weeks before i discovered private server's and now i have im not sure i could go back to hive server's. The reasons being:

• Side Chat: To me this is #1 primarily because there is a significantly less bandits as their douche baggery can be broad cast to eveyone on the server alerting other people not to trust you. You can actualy organize trades with other people. You can make yourself known on the server as being someone that can be trusted. On every nonhive server i play on I am always able to find someone to help me fix a car or team up with where as on hive servers this almost never happens.
  
• Vehicals: There simply are not enough vehicals on hive servers in the 50+ hours i played on hive servers not ONCE did i find a broken car and NEVER did i see a heli in any condition. On most private hives the vehical cap is around double making for much less of that painful walking and more doing actual fun things. Not to mention being able to get into actual car chases
  
• Server hopping: To me having a different character on each server seem's more true to the game than being able to server hop for equiptment and to out flank your opponents.
  

Some of the things i miss about the hive servers

• Admins: The biggest problem i have had with private servers have been the admin. I have been banned from 3 servers for just killing them. The other problem is how ,after dying they will teleport themselves, or spawn them selves new gear, and sometimes even backdate the server.
  
• Sidechat: People speaking a mic over side side chat can get really annoying on servers that dont penalise it.
  
• Random restarts: These can be especialy annoying when flying helicopters as you not only lose your welicopter but often find yourself in the middle of nowhere.
  

The current server i am playing on is `West Coast` and does not have the admin problems as the owner is very rarely actualy on. I have found the number of vehicals to be perfect in my opinion and their 'Event system` to be a great idea..

So i am wondering what other people think of my ideas and what ideas you guys have on Private Servers.and if Rocket should imbrace some of the ideas in private hives a bit more and allow server owners a bit more choice over the server settings.

Just so you know, you can go into the players tab in the map menu and mute any player's microphone from there.

In locked private servers, where you must be whitelisted, it is far less likely there will be hackers, right?

Well, I guess it depends on how often an admin is in the server to ban them from that server.

Either way, I am not going to play this game for 2 months, hopefully there will be less hackers then, recently hacking has been really bad for me (there never used to be many hackers). Well, good luck, have fun and goodbye.

I mainly seem to encounter hackers on HIVE servers, and yer that why some of the private hive's are whitelisted so hackers cant get in. I was tempted to get into one of the whitelisted servers but the no. of players on them always seems really tiny.

side chat ruins the immersion IMO. it should only be on 'recruit' servers. it honestly makes me wanna kill more people as the cry for someone to bring them a bloodbag, or ask who's shooting
