Zombie Über Buff

Zombies are too easy, we all know this. Even in L4D2 it takes 5 hits from a zombie and you're down... I'm thinking they need to deal like 1,000 damage per hit with the same chance of bleeding/bone breaking/unconsciousness that we have currently.

Thoughts?

Also, maybe this one will have to be left for the standalone but you should do a kind of limping run animation and move much more slowly while bleeding.

Reduce blood to it's original value or at least much lower ( f.e. 8-9k ) and not some number to give DCers a chance...i know it sucks if you can get one shot kills with a pistol but anyone who lets a hostile player get that close doesn't deserve better.

Even with 8k blood zombies wouldn't be scary, that would just make sniping easier.

You'd have several options...

1) Kill them before they're aggro'd.

2) Run indoors and kill them.

3) Run and lose the zombie(s).

You'd be forced to adapt but it definitely wouldn't be impossible and would actually make zombies a worthwhile part of the game. :)

the zombies are hard enough as it is without a weapon i have found a british lee enfield rifle many a time and if i aim the rifle it fires in the wrong direction

It should be a requirement in the standalone that in order to kill a zombie, it requires 1-2 bullets to the head or 5-6 to the chest with any gun, maybe even more with a pistol.

If you shoot a zombie in the arms/hands/legs/feet you have a chance to dismember them but they will just keep coming at you until you are dead. If you should a zombie in the stomach/groin, with better physics you can knock them back or force them to the ground

No. Who survives a headshot? Headshots should always be an instant kill. Except maybe with the crowbar and axe...

Yeah, agree.

Zombies need a major buff and giving loads of health isn't the way to go. If we could double or even triple the number of zombies then I'd be happy but we can't... Which left me with the idea of them doing WAY more damage.

zombies that take 6 bullets to chest area not good zombies that die like humans good my viw of zombies is that they need to eat they need to sleep they need to crap and they can feel pain and they dont need head shots

Yeah, I'll give you that actually. If I got hit a couple of times through a wall and ended up losing 2-3k blood and bleeding I'd be pretty pissed. xD

This needs to happen once their AI is fixed/better though! ;D
