Tired/Bored Of DayZ?

Now this thread is only for people that play DayZ solo and when i mean solo i mean without friends, Its just you playing w/

Random players. I was talking to other DayZ players on a server and a few told me how they were getting bored of dayz

till they joined my live stream and i let them play w/ me and my squad. Check this out. This chat is after the live stream

he added me on skype and told me that. What i would suggest is making friends on DayZ or on this community forums

and teaming up w/ friends and stuff meeting up, looting, and going to places as a team/squad its always 100x more fun

then running solo. Trust me =) Thats all i wanted to say! :D

Yeah i know specially when i make the ip public during the live stream, there are a few people that are hackers and just come in to ruin the live stream.

Im in a group with 2 other friends and we take more risks then I ever would solo. Its ended up with some very intense gunfights that really improve the game

This game is always the most fun when paired up with someone or a lot of someones! Surviving lonely can be interesting sometimes, but it is much more fun (and safer) to roll with a group of friends. Build relations, get to know people, and you'll be able to accomplish things you could never achieve playing solo.

Playing with a group doesn't do anything to fix the problems that are crippling the game. I agree that it's 100 times more fun that playing solo, but it doesn't make the game anymore playable.

I don't trust people I can't slap in RL. So, if I could convince one of my gamer friends to jump in I might play with them.

And no offense, I'm not risking my 20 day character to play with some random "kids" (I'm over 30), who I might hardly be able to relate to.

So far, I'm enjoying the immersion of surviving alone, and my experience has been mostly untainted by hackers, and maniacal grief troll COD kids. IMO this makes the game more playable, the way it "should" be played.

Altho I do agree there's a lot more fun and purpose when you play with friends, there is nothing you can't do solo. 80% of the helis I repaired this week were solo fully fixed. :V

Knowing what you're doing, and being prepared beforehand for what you're attempting can get you to do anything. Still boring as fuck and sad as fuck when you pull off something incredible and no one to share it with.

Years gone by, the only way to share a gaming experience was to go to the arcade.

All of your gaming accomplishments weren't FRAP'd, streamed, or co-oped.

Im old as shit too and have met decent players on this very forum. Once I posted that I was a Californian player who was 28 looking for a group and found four west coast buddies within a day. We all thought the other might shoot on the first meeting, but we managed to trust each other and did some damage and took some deaths. I lost my 28 day old care bear character and have never looked back. I still play with them from time to time when IRL friends are over the game. Once your character dies go out with a good PVP or PVE crew and have some fun and take some deaths. Or join a lingor server where you will be fresh anyways.

Anyway, I'm not tired or bored of DayZ. I was getting kinda close though, so I've been holding myself back, so I don't overplay it. I've done that with a few games recently, which sucks balls. And that's my fault. So I guess in a sense, DayZ has driven me also to better myself as a person. As in not no-lifing a game for weeks on end. :D

I don't like playing w/ players i bump into the game because i feel like they might just kill me anytime they want. I rather meet someone on the forums or play w/ friends that play dayz and team up like that. :D

Yea I don't trust anyone I meet in game. I have saved people and then forced them under threat of death to not pick up a weapon while in their presence. Usually I just kill them (or get killed) but I try not to kill unarmed players.

Chances are if you are alive in cherno/electro and you find an un armed player and let him leave, he will find a weapon and see you w/ a weapon and most likely kill you not knowing is you. I know this from exp :D
